Planet Swirl Frozen Yogurt

I guess it was the location that had kept me away (as frozen yogurt places popped up a dime a dozen years ago, and there were plenty of other worthy places to go in Wallingford). I was pleasantly surprised when we stopped in recently. The owner was very friendly & eager to please. Beyond, the décor was nice & the texture of the frozen yogurt was if not the best in town, then one of the best. Additionally the flavors were all nice.
Although we did not yet the soft-​serve ice cream this visit, it’s good to see that they carry it for future times of temptation.
Our daughter thoroughly loved looking up at the ceiling while she enjoyed her bites.

Like this better than any of the other places around. Staff is always friendly (keep it up guys!) and the selection are great. Best flavor they had was the caramel chocolate combo for some reason is not the same as just doing half caramel and chocolate. Toppings are fantastic and plentiful in love with the maple syrup drenched walnuts. They have a frequent buyer card. Would like to see them do a 3 dollar Tuesday special or something for a little more competition.

This place WAS a favorite but will NEVER go there again. Poor customer service and just sketchy. I purchased 2 @$ 5 gift cards on 4÷19÷14 for my kid’s Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny – we go out for frozen yogurt often and they love it. We’ve been there a handful of times with groups of people after a day out and about but wouldn’t have the gift cards with us.
My husband brought the kids there today and was told by the employees that both gift cards were invalid. Both not used, expired, nothing, just invalid. They asked him to produce the receipts and he didn’t have it with him. At this point, I’m not even sure I would have held onto them. Lesson learned on my part. I’ve given them as birthday gifts and now I’m mortified to think this may have happened to the recipients!
My husband didn’t want to upset the kids so he paid for their order, but the employee response was incredible – he was told there were new owners (does this mean the gift cards were deactivated as a part of the sale?) and then he was told the gift cards are available on the counter and anyone could just grab one. Great.Customer.Service.
There are frozen yogurt places everywhere – a number within a few miles from this place. I will bring my business elsewhere.

Best frozen yogurt spot in town! So creamy and true to flavor. My most recent visit was a full house-​everyone and their mother must have been craving froyo. I had to order 2 smoothies to-​go for family members, so by the time those were made my froyo was melted. The young lady working though was nice enough to let me make a new cup without an additional charge… I’ll stick to this place: D

Good Froyo! Toppings good, décor cool changing «stars» on the ceiling, deals frequently through groupon/​living social makes it worth the trip.

I love this place! I am a froyo fanatic and have been to just about every place. I come here when in Wallingford any time I want froyo. They have the most flavor options I’ve ever seen anywhere and tons of toppings! They even have protein smoothies, which my boyfriend likes to order. The first time we came here they even gave us extra froyo to take home on the house! The staff is very friendly and it’s always clean. Highly recommended!

Came back, and I won’t write a review every time but this visit was even better. Great convo with the girl running the show last night, some different flavors were up — but man is the graham cracker one my favorite or what.
I do wish there was a spot where we could request flavors. They had a pineapple flavor today which made me drool thinking about dole whips. I know some places try a knock off and with how good his place does frozen treats I wouldn’t mind seeing them give it a try.

Great service, yogurt and toppings. I came here to use my groupon deal. I love how this place is set up. Will be back to visit soon.

By far the creamiest and most delicious froyo in the area… and they offer the most toppings!
I love everything about this place from the helpful and friendly staff to its sexy purple décor. The design alone sets it apart from other froyo places. It feels like you are a nice lounge.
I think they also offer WI-​FI.
Located right next to Club 24 Fitness Gym on Route 5, this place is easy to get to.
Definitely a must try!

I have been to all the frozen yogurt places in the area and I feel this one is the best. The fro-​yo is so creamy and delicious and I love the décor, especially the purple. They let you change the station on the tv, all you have to do is ask. Also very kid friendly.

These places are popping up every where. Some are better than others. I loved the décor. It was cute and the guy came up and wanted to give me a sample right away. He was very friendly.
I was totally bummed out. The only no sugar added fro-​yo that they had was vanilla… really? Vanilla? Am I not punished enough by having to get no sugar added you also have to give me one choice and its vanilla?
Boring.
I did enjoy sitting outside. And it did taste good. It was just meh. And there are so many other fro-​yos around that meh just doesn’t cut it.

The froyo is delish, the toppings are endless, the décor is fun and the owner even came over to say hi.
