Subway

My husband and I went to this particular Subway because I had coupons. Normally if we’re going to have subs we usually go to other places because Subway is always stingy on the meats. But anyways, we both ordered chicken bacon ranch footlongs and my hubby said his tasted absolutely disgusting. Mine tasted good and I don’t really have a complaint regarding the quality of the sub. My complaint is with the drink machine and the service. First off, they now have the fancy coke machine with the crazy amount of flavors. There was no ice and ALL of the flavors had no sugar and weren’t sweet at all. The sprite tasted like seltzer water and the Fuze half and half (which is off to the side in its own container) tasted like plastic. We tried telling the guy working at the counter but he wouldn’t listen and kept saying that nothing was wrong with the machine and that it tasted like that because it wasn’t cold. So then we ended up grabbing two sodas out of the sliding door coolers and he wouldn’t give them to us because the soda machine wasn’t working so we had to pay the difference on the bottled sodas. My husband also left a tip for the workers which he deeply regrets. Now my husband just told me that he threw up and his stomach hurts from the sandwich. We will NOT be returning to this Subway EVER again. You’ve been warned.

Still steamed about the salad; however, I did return here for a sandwich after visiting Gigantees too and trying to make a best sandwich in the area comparison. As far as sandwiches go, this subway is just as good as, if not better than others that I have visited. Staff this time around was very friendly and even brought me back a third time because I was craving their sweet onion chicken sandwich.
If you are in the mood for subway and in the Wallingford area, this is the place to be. Just stay away from their salads…
