You cannot find a better salon than this. But this is less a review for the salon and more for the technician who did my nails.
.amazing. I really can’t say enough about her. Not only does she explain everything she’s doing as she’s doing it, but she keeps you hysterically laughing the whole time! Never at any point did I feel awkward. The salon is gorgeous and fancy but not once did I feel like I was in a stuffy hoity toity place. Heather made me so comfortable, like we were two friends hanging out in my extremely well decorated living room. My nails came out beautiful, and I was confident in the cleanliness of the place. I will never go to anyone else for my nails.

If you are looking for the best nail salon in town, this is it. Angel and Heather are terrific. When I’m with Heather, I get an education, a great manicure and a whole lot of fun!!! She’s knowledgeable, great at what she does and is quite entertaining. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else but the Nail and Wax Room for great results and peace of mind. Just the best!

I started coming here for waxing services months ago based on the great reviews on Unilocal… so glad I did! I see Lisa, and she’s fabulous. The salon is quiet, cozy, and comfortable. It’s a lovely place. I am now also seeing Heather for nails. Gorgeous CND Shellac products, and she is a hoot. We laughed a fair bit the other day! Finally, I also have to say that Angel is super helpful… she spent some time on the phone with me answering my questions. Everyone seems happy to be there, love the online scheduling, it’s wonderful!

Fantastic place! I received the best manicure today (CND) by Heather. She was very meticulous and gentle. I cannot say enough to describe how wonderful this place is. The quality, price and talent is unbeatable. You can even book your appointment online. Look no further, this is the place to go.

I found this gem through Spa Finder. I made my appointments online, which was very convenient. I had a brazilian with Angel yesterday and returned this morning for a Spa Manicure and Spa Pedicure. Everything was clean and Angel was meticulous. She was professional and courteous while waxing and I honestly could have fallen asleep on that heated bed! The Spa Pedicure was beyond relaxing and my feet feel fabulous. Great job on the manicure! I will definitely be back!

I’m not familiar with this service but only because I hesitate to just stop in to a nail salon. This place was great. Loved that I could make a reservation online. I arrived about 5 minutes early and Heather was ready for me. Helped me to pick colors and then treated me with style. Heather is fabulous! Friendly, easy to be with and attentive with knowledge. I’m thinking this could easily be a new thing for me. Had a relaxing, yet stimulating time.

I am not one of those girls who would get manicures very often, if at all. I found this place on Unilocal with good reviews when planning to get a manicure as a gift to my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. Upon walking in, the first impression is neat and clean for such a small physical space and it’s beautifully decorated and serene. Both women were very friendly and welcoming. Heather did a great job helping me choose a color that I would like wearing but would still have a nice appeal for my boyfriend. My hands get pretty beat up from working in a bakery, being a fitness and nutrition coach constantly working out and, in general, being a real hands on DIY kind of woman. Heather did a FANTASTIC job shaping up my poor fingers and hands! She also used a polish that she said would last at least 5 days looking fabulous. I definitely didn’t believe that it would actually last that long given I typically would go only a few hours before ruining nail polish. I was WRONG! Thanks to Heather my polish lasted nearly a week without a blemish and it isn’t a gel or shellac that could cause damage to my nails. Needless to say, I was so impressed by Heather’s work and the polish that my boyfriend paid for me to go back again today. You can bet I’ll be returning on a pretty regular basis. I may now become a regularly manicured woman!

I went in yesterday for spa pedicure and loved every minute! I was able to book my appt online with ease and love that feature to do so. I was greeted by Heather with a smile and a warm welcome on time. No waiting. The place was small which makes it cozy and is very clean. Heather went above my expectations and made sure I was comfortable. I will be returning to get a manicure next. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top notch service.

About two weeks ago, my Mom took me here for a birthday pedicure. Angel did my feet and Heather did my Mom’s. We got the works and it was wonderful. My feet still look like they just got done. My nail polish still has not one chip. The chairs were comfortable, the place was beautiful and clean and it was so relaxing. I almost fell asleep in the chair. Angel and Heather were great and really friendly. My favorite part was the hot wax my feet were dipped in. OMG!!! Hands down, the best pedicure I ever had. I will definitely be back!

I had my first appointment today after getting a recommendation from a co-​worker and I could not be happier about my experience! Heather did an amazing job on my shellac manicure (including helping me to find the perfect color) and was so great to chat with — friendly, knowledgable and just fun! I’ve already made my next appointment and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

My second time here was not a good experience. I got my eyebrows waxed by Angel. I told her I liked my brows the way they are but I just wanted them cleaned up (which is what I’ve always told people waxing my eyebrows and they understand what that means). Well she made them a lot thinner and changed the shape which is not at all what I asked for. She also burned my skin with the wax on one side. Then she had to walk out in the middle of my session because the other girl working was having an issue with the computer. I liked my first experience with Lisa but after today I will never be going back here.

Had a shellac and pedi done. Careful attention to my nails with only cnd products. (I won’t use anything else). Love the online booking and Heather is fabulous. Gave me explanations about the products and how to keep my nails looking fabulous. Glad I found this gem!!!

Great wax! Quick and not too painful. One of the best I’ve had.

I have been getting my nails done in different salons for over 18 years. During most of those 18 years I had acrylic nails. I am so happy to have found Angel and her staff. The prices are a little bit higher than what I paid at some of the other places I frequented but it is well worth it. It is more like being at a spa then a nail salon. The place is Clean with a capital C! I love that everything is done by appointment so I can book everything out months in advance and I do not have to sit there waiting forever for my turn. When you are there you are the focus. They are not answering the phone or talking to one another across the salon and ignoring you completely.
Angel is great and has helped educate me on nail health and I am proud to say that after 18 years of wearing acrylic nails I am now back to my natural nails and they look great. If you are looking for a contemporary, clean and spa like experience this is your place.

This place a fabulous! Very clean, they even ask if you want to keep the nail file they use for you because they use a new one for every single person! And everything they do is very precise and meticulous! If they think it’s not good enough they fix it before you really even notice. They also have a very professional staff, both Angel and Dominique Renee, knew all about nail care and what you might want, they were very informative about the different services they had and explained what they thought might be best for me based on what I described I was looking for. This will definitely be my new primary nail salon!

With unwavering patronage all due to Angel’s meticulous attention to detail and diligent sanitation processes, I’m now a regular now at The Nail & Wax Room.
