LOVELOVELOVETHISPLACE Family owned and run with the freshest meat ever. They are very helpful and will help you find the perfect selection. They also smoke their own meats and cute their own bacon which will have you coming back for more. Also the smoked pepperoni is amazing.

What a great selection of smoked meats and homemade products. We purchased Bacon, smoked Cheddar, and chorizo. The cheese is awesome. I’m only giving them 2 stars now, as it was our first time there. I’m sure as I try more of their products they will get 5 stars.

When I first moved to Vermont, I thought Harrington hams were the best thing going. Since discovering Wallingford Locker, we look forward to holidays(we even make up holidays) in anticipation of a smoked ham from The Locker. While we are there, we also buys some extra bacon, bacon ends, and Better Than Ends for the freezer. Great products and stand-up owners. Totally Vermonty!

This is a very unique meat market. Probably the best bacon you’ll ever have, sliced thick. never had better. Store is neat, clean and home spun. Meats are very good, cut to order, and also some prepackaged frozen. Prices are reasonable, if ou have some shopping to do, make this stop a must. The usual local Maple syrup, is also avaolable.

I have to say I had never heard of Wallingford Locker before my fiancé received a holiday gift of a 10-lb. cob-smoked ham that was purchased from Wallingford by a company based in Rutland(we’re from central Vermont, so not all that familiar with the southern region). That said, Wallingford Locker will definitely be on my go-to list whenever I’m in the Rutland area from now on. This ham was hands down one of the best hams(if not THE best) I have ever had(and, having hit the 5 – 0 mark this year, I’m no rookie!). We served it at a New Years Day dinner and everyone there raved about it. It was very tender, sweet and perfectly smoked. I can’t wait to try the cob-smoked bacon! Kudos!
