The servive is horrible, the food could use a lot more passion. My steak sandwhich was dry, it was cut ridiculously thick so i could not chew it. The service again is terrible. The smoothies were chunky, I won’t be returning. The burger was also dry the best thing of the meal was probably the fries and soup, which is sad. They need an all new kitchen staff that actually cares about the quality of the food they put out. Shame on them, not worth the money. You can get better food for a better price at many different places.

This review is for the restaurant and bar only, not the rooms and gym. The place is great with nice views and great places to chill, the stuff is friendly and accommodating, however the food is a 1 star. They can do so much better for a hotel of this caliber.

I like C-Blue Express, they have great menu with healthy options, labels what’s gluten and dairy free and healthy smaller portions. Service is a bit slow at times :-(

Why three stars, the staff is miserable, unhappy, and just a pain to even deal with. It’s such a contrast when compared to the Valet guys who are super nice and warm and welcoming. Hotel management MUST do some customer service training on the C-Blue Express staff. Honestly, guests who pay high dollar to be gym members and/or hotel guests deserve better customer service. Every time I have been there the staff is just miserable. They need to watch the Valet guys to learn what nice customer service really is. As for the food, it’s good and healthy. As for the smoothies… if the staff ever made it correctly or with a smile I may have actually enjoyed them.

My friend and I like to go in here to study because they have wi-fi and an okay happy hour menu. Service often leaves you sitting, waiting, and waiting… drinks are quick to come out, but hard to get a refill when you want one. the café area is relatively small so this is mind-boggling. Marcie S served us last time we went 4÷24÷12 and it would’ve been nice to have a warning about happy hour ending soon. we would’ve each ordered another drink or snack. So instead we left at 7:30 pm and saved our money.(Happy hour goes till 7 — that’s a plus) Also, their food is good! and there’s a decent happy hour selection, but it’s changed over the last couple of years and I think the selection isn’t as good as it was, and prices seem to have gone up on some things. Although, there’s now a new wing menu boasting lots of flavors. But the wings are $ 1 each — I’d rather go to Buffalo Wild Wings. Most disappointing was the fish taco with a jalapeño sauce that I think left out the peppers. The fish was good though and there was a good amount of it for such a small shell. I was with a friend with a gluten allergy so we both ordered ours grilled, rather than fried. The edamame was good. Large portion! Lots of salt(like I like!!!) Wonderful eye candy all around! Coors light($ 4 each x 2); HH Edamama($ 4); HH Fish tacos, grilled($ 5); Total: $ 14.07

As far as delis/express food goes, this place has it going on! Everything they have is fresh(just ask all the healthy people that work out here every day) and actually tastes really good. I usually order a soup and salad, sometimes get a half sandwich, and it’s never more than $ 7(unless I happen to purchase a voss water. guilty pleasure.). I work really close, so I frequent the place almost twice a week, and they have yet to repeat the same kind of soup… so tons of variety there. The sandwiches are salads are generally similar, but they make a lot of different kinds of wraps. The service is also really great. I introduced myself once and both Travis and Gloria knew my name and greeted me by it the next day… that’s a rarity in these parts! Fast, easy, and delish. can’t beat it.

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat after a great workout. Got the Chicken & Avocado Sandwich(~$ 3.25 for half, ~$ 6 for whole), which was good. Sandwiches are made daily, but not made to order, They are served dry, and condiments are available. The next day I got a Blueberry Muffin(~$ 1.75), which was great. Service was good. If you are staying there, you can charge it to your room. Love this hotel. We will be returning guests.

Great little place to grab and go. They have salads, sandwiches, delicious smoothies, breakfast options, coffee… etc. This little place is located inside of the Renaissance ClubSport Walnut Creek, so you know everything is fresh! It’s filled with a bunch of heath nut, fitness kings and queens. I had a tropical smoothie which is extremely delish. Pasta salad with garbanzo beans, salami, pesto, onions, spinach and tomatoes! It tastes like they just made it for me. I also had a half turkey breast and avocado sandwich. Perfect lunch. Super fast and great to sit and chat(plenty of seating) or grab and go! Way better alternative to greasy fast food! And it’s just as fast!
