I took my husband to Flemings Steakhouse for his birthday. We love Ruth Chris and House of Prime Rib and wanted to try a different steak house this time. The bread and 2 different types of butter was fantastic. The waiter accidentally brought us the Fleming salad and Housemade Burrata that we did not order. When we mentioned to him, he said that it was a mistake and for us to enjoy. Very good! The salad was so fresh and the Burrata was wonderful. I ordered their Prix Fixe menu and it was great although the Filet Mignon was just OK. My husband ordered the Prime New York strip and he said it was just«good». Our steak were OK but very overpriced. The restaurant was very loud and dark. If you are looking for a quiet intimate dinner this is NOT the place to go. I could not hear our waiter most of the time and had to ask him to repeat. The waiter was very attentive but accidentally charged me the wrong wine price(about $ 4.00 more). I mentioned to him and he was very eager to correct the error. A good experience but will probably not be back — too loud and crowded.

Went for my daughters 13 th birthday and was not disappointed. The service was fabulous, the steak, the best I’ve ever had in my 62 years! Buttery and delicious. The smoked soup was to die for. Terrific after dinner truffles completed the perfect meal. Only downside. A little too dark and entrance from a parking garage. Overall, an excellent experience!

Chris, our server, absolutely styled us. After arriving at a glowing table near the busy kitchen, courtesy of an extremely polite maitre de, we were treated to perfect pairings and a delicious, well-timed meal. I hear they have a reasonably-priced(and packed) happy hour with less expensive entrees. The lights are low and the people-watching was easy in this large open room. Thank you for the nice time!

Meh. For a $ 50 steak we had a $ 19.99 experience. Steak was tasty but not over the top. I’d say it’s on par with Izzys in Redwood City. The truffle mashies barely tasted of truffle… huge let down. Waitress was underwhelmed and truly shining us on. Pretty much going through the motions to get her obligatory 15%. All in all I won’t go back. If I want a sensational steak and experience, I’ll go to 5A5 in the city or Town in San Carlos. Total bill was $ 250 for two steaks, a split salad, one cocktail, one glass of wine, one small side of lackluster mashed potatoes. Boo. Wasted opportunity.

I did not expect … To spend over $ 100 … On myself But it was really good! I had a small steak, a glass of wine and shared sides with my friends and boo. It was all really good and our waiter, Mohr, was amazing! And the guy who helped him too.

For a chain restaurant owned by the same company as Outback, it’s really not that bad. They have an extensive wine list and delicious non steak main entrees as well. I tried my husband’s filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked. My sea scallops were like butter and the shredded squash ragu it was served on top of was delicious. However, the dim lighting makes it a pretentious steak house, especially when you see other patrons using their cellphones to view the menu. Also, the sides could be updated and really aren’t that tasty. I’ve had the Fleming’s potatoes, their burrata, and their lobster tempura all of which were reminiscent of their other chain restaurant, Outback. I’d also like to add that service is exceptional once you’re seated at a table. Ensuring you will be seated within ten minutes if you have a reservation is not very likely. The price I don’t think is fair for the quality of food but the dining experience isn’t that bad. If the food matched the price, I’d have no complaints.

Food was amazing!!! Every dish was delicious. I went here for my boyfriend’s birthday and we ordered the crab cakes and calamari for appetizers(we were in a group of 4 so it was perfect for us). For the main dish, we had the Taste the Season course, which consisted of cheddar soup, filet mignon, lobster tail, and pumpkin crème brûlée cheesecake. We also ordered the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes for sides. The best part was they topped it with truffles for the birthday boy. Everything was cooked perfect, no complains. The waiters were so nice and polite. Pricey but it was worth it!!!

So good. Came here for a celebratory birthday dinner for my friend. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were probably the best that I’ve ever had. So flavorful and fresh. We each ordered the NYE special– filet mignon and a lobster tail and both were absolutely delicious, flavorful and tender. I am taking off one star only because I requested my filet mignon to be cooked medium WELL and it was more on the rare side. Not THAT big of a deal but at a place like this, I expect to have my meat cooked as requested. Our waiter was friendly, cocktails were delicious, restaurant and bathroom were extremely clean. On the pricey side but worth it for great food and service.

Yes to ambiance! Yes to service! Yes to food! Flemings is a great place for steak as well as seafood. We came here end of December with another couple and had a great experience. I ordered the King crab legs and the plate was overflowing. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked. Anthony had the prime New York strip with the truffle poached lobster as a companion. I had a bite of the steak and the medium rare was true to its word. Juicy and flavorful. The lobster was tender and not over cooked and had the hint of truffle without being overpowering. Flemings also had a great happy hour menu of food and drinks. Definitely less expensive than the dinner menu but just as good.

I’ve been here for Restuarnt Week and Happy Hour. Restaurant week’s menu was absolutely amazing. For the money and quality and quantity of food you received it was a no brainer! I was here the other night for a ladies night out to enjoy some happy hour beverages and snacks. They have happy hour from 5 – 7 with all drinks and food for $ 6. The bar area’s seating is always full and you have to hawk for a table. My friends and I all ordered the blueberry lemon drop and it was perfectly refreshing. We also got an order of the sweet chile calamari to share which was a nice new take on calamari. The star knocked off is for the poor customer service of our server literally ignoring us and talking to two guys at this one table for over 20 minutes.

Wow! I’m just going to skip all the boring stuff and talk about the food. It was ONPOINT! Best steak I’ve had(bone in ribeye) and the Flemings potatoes were outrageously good, even though they were cold in the middle. The bread is delectable and the butter is so flavorful. Sweet and spicy calamari was great too. Seasonal pumpkin crème brûlée cheesecake was yummy. It was my boyfriend’s 21st birthday so they gave him a free drink, some chocolate truffles, and a gift card for our next visit(which we will be using for my birthday in a few days). Prompt service and our waiter looked and talked like Barack Obama. It was funny! Thanks, Flemings, for a perfect night.

Okay I’ve been here once. It was outstanding food and service. I think that all the years I have worked in the middle to upper end food service(well I have worked two bar-b-que shacks) give me a Head start on What to expect from a place. Everything was top notch. Hot at the table and taste was exemplary. So I’m taking my wife there tonight for our 15th anniversary. The only way I could have a better meal is to stay home and cook it myself. As much as I love for people to cook for me no one wants to do it out of fear I won’t like it so I usually have to go out to be cooked for. I rate this place next to my second favorite in the area«The Dead Fish». My favorite being Sailor Jacks in Benecia. I mean it’s on the water excellent food and it’s an old whore house. What else could you ask for??? Okay we celebrated our anniversary at Flemings and my wife had the ribeye and I had the chefs special dinner of the evening. The special was the petite filet topped with two perfectly fried oysters, superb oyster mushrooms and drizzled with their truffle butter. It was so good I Have to say I am impressed. We shared a wedge salad it was awesome. I had the molten chocolate cake with ice cream. If you go don’t think it’s a run of the mill desert, it’s not and takes this desert OFFTHEHOOK!!! Our waiter was excellent providing a high level of service that made our evening complete. To top it off they gave us an anniversary Gift of hand made chocolate truffles that would make the sees candy owner go home and slap his mama! Thanks for making our anniversary a memorable night.

When you go to a high end steak house, your looking of great steaks, warm ambiance, and excellent service to go along with your $ 50+ steak. So far every time I have been to Fleming’s in Walnut Creek they have met all the expectations. We made reservations for Sunday night knowing they offer their Prime Rib.(Only Sunday Nights). It is an excellent deal for $ 42. Along with the Prime Rib you get a Salad(choice of three Fleming’s, Wedge, and Cesar’s) choice of one side dish and choice of dessert. If you were to order the sides separately that would be another $ 40. by itself. The Prime Rib is terrific and the service is spot on. No need to $ 8 Valet Park the plenty of parking spots on the same level.

Had a work quarterly recognition here. So, yes, we had a private room. Cozy, hosting about 35 people. I must say the service is exceptional. Every person seems to be in the know or always willing to help. From the coordinating to our arrival. With one exception– we opted to use their tv screen for an award presentation and no one could figure out which hdmi input to use. We brought our projector just in case and ended up using that connection to use the tv. The food was pretty good. I had the filet mignon and they served the green beans and truffle mashed potatoes sorta family style? Kind of weird but it was delish. And don’t knock the carrot cake. It is pretty darn good. Ample parking(garage), valet is offered too.

– HAPPYHOURREVIEW – One of the best happy hours! There is constant debate between Ruth’s Chris(a couple blocks away) and Flemings HR, and in my book Flemings wins. They have two happy hours, one in the early evening before 6PM and another after 8PM. The first is cheaper($ 5 – 7 for HR menu drinks and apps) and the other is a few bucks more($ 8 – 9). I’ve had both, and I think the later menu is better — the prime rib sandwich is fantastic! Perhaps the meat might be better at Ruth’s Chris if I remember correctly, BUT the serving size is better here. The bread isn’t too thick and they give you a healthy portion of meat inside with the prime rib dip and horse radish on the size. The bacon burger is a generous portion as well(on both menus). Both come with fries/chips. Aside from the burger on both menus, before 6PM menu, I recommend the pork belly and calamari. They also have select cocktails and wines for $ 5 – 6. After 8PM menu, I recommend the ahi tuna tacos and the prime rib sandwich like I said previously. I don’t recommend the lobster lettuce wraps — one small piece of lobster, half the size of your thumb small. GO! And be quick, the booths and bar stools will fill up fast, especially on Thurs-Sat(yes, they have HR on weekends).

Fantastic happy hour! Came here for the happy hour from $ 5 – 7. They had a great selection of cocktails and wines. Ordered a glass of their Chardonnay, $ 5. It was quite a large glass and was perfect! The whisky sours were amaaaaze balls! Came here with a few other people and tried everything on the 5−7pm hour menu. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite was the portobello mushroom ravioli. So yummy!!! But seriously, so worth it for anything you order!!!

First timer here. Had the best pre-Thanksgiving dinner with the fam here last night! I ordered the Sunday prime rib dinner which comes with prime rib, your choice or salad, side and dessert. In total we ordered the filet mignon(medium rare), salmon, prime rib, asparagus side, Fleming’s potato side, squash, modern wedge salad, some soup, pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate lava cake. As well as wine & prosecco. Everything from the service, ambiance and food was top notch. Our food was cooked to perfection, waiter attentive, even the house bread with butter delicious. I can’t wait to go back! The portions are generous, sides are shareable and we were able to get a reservation for Sunday night dinner a couple hours in advance. The lava cake is very good. More gooey lava center than cake. Takes about 15 – 20 mins for them to make.

4 words: Lobster Mac and Cheese! The BF and I specifically come here for the lobster Mac and cheese. I don’t believe it’s on the menu, it’s a special order item, and trust me you’ll want to order it; unless you’re allergic. The steaks are well seasoned and cooked perfectly to your liking. You can’t really go wrong at Flemings: service, food, or drinks; no complaints here. With this specific location you’ll be parking in an indoor lot and the entrance is right there. Enjoy!
