i-Caramba Mobile Smartphone and Tablet Repair

I found i-​Caramba after dropping my cellphone on a Saturday night at 8:30PM. I assumed I would have to wait until Monday morning and take time to get the shattered glass fixed. I called at 10:30AM Sunday morning and Ron and his great i-​Caramba truck were at my place by 11:10AM. He fixed the phone from his truck within about 15 minutes while I waited inside the comfort of my home. He put a protective cover on the phone and I bought a case to further protect it from my slippery fingers. I recommend i-​Caramba for any cellphone repairs. What a great service (and truck)!

Ron arrived bang on time. Fast and excellent service. If you have a phone issue to fix, you can’t go wrong asking him in.

I have dropped my iPhone 6 just way too many times, but amazingly it has lasted a year without having issues! Unfortunately, it had one drop too many last night. The screen went «funky,» and like most people nowadays, I do most of my personal and business communication through my phone. It was Sunday evening, and when I checked the Apple stores for an appointment, ONE WEEK!!! Sorry, Apple. If you want a single device to be used for everything I need for communication in the modern age, YOU NEED TO PROVIDE MORE IMMEDIATE SUPPORT!
This brings me to Ron. I checked Unilocal (quite frankly, in desperation) to try to find a reputable iPhone repair shop that was still open on a Sunday evening and preferably one that wouldn’t cost me more than the phone was worth! I found a 5-​star shop (i-​Caramba) in my area, but even better, they are a mobile repair shop! I wasn’t able to connect right away to someone, but it took less than 5 minutes for Ron to call me back. He told me exactly what the problem was over the phone, and he gave me an exact, reasonable price for repair. When I asked him when he could fix my phone, I was expecting an answer in terms of days. He said, «around 8:00 that evening.» What??? When his van rolled up around 7:55pm, I saw a very tidy, high-​tech workshop inside a well-​designed workshop/​van. Ron was really easy-​going and friendly, and he also was very clear about everything he was doing. I even decided to buy a stronger case from him, and he gave me an (unasked for) discount.
Summary: MY FIRST CHOICE FOR IPHONE/​IPAD REPAIR IS NO LONGER APPLE.
My phone works perfectly now, and instead of waiting a week for an appointment at the «Genius Bar» while waiting to see how long it might take to fix my phone, I got to relax at home, paid less money than what Apple charges, and I feel like Ron (owner of iCaramba) has an awesome small business that he really takes pride in. I can find no criticism in the work he did for me.

My son really did a number on his phone, dropping it so hard that not only did he shatter the screen, but somehow also damaged the power button, destroyed his camera and broke the speaker. We kept discovering problems with the phone (not related to iCaramba but my knuckle-​head son), they kept tenaciously helping us fix them. They work quickly, meet their obligations, and are a pleasure to work with, whether using their mobile service or whether you take the phone to their service location. Highly recommended.

This place is excellent! Situation: cracked screen on an iPhone 6 for field-​based employee who uses it daily, all day. Even with a corporate account with Apple, the estimate was for the Genius Bar to have it for 3 days! No loaners! Guess what? This company arranged to meet us on Christmas weekend, and had it all done in less than 20 minutes! Apple, you could learn a thing or two from these guys! I think THIS is the genius in apple product repair!
I recommend everything about this company; it is flawless!

Came to the rescue for a shattered LG G4 screen. They did not have the screen in stock, but ordered it on a Monday and installed it at my house on Tuesday. Not cheap, but cheaper than a new phone! I will call them again, but hope I don’t have to!

Monday 11÷23÷15 (11:15) — Receive text from I-​Caramba indicating mobile technician is en route to my home
Monday 11÷23÷15 (11:25am) — Tech arrives
Monday 11÷23÷15 (11:45am) — Phone glass/​touch screen replacement complete
In a little over 2 hours from placing a call to I-​Caramba they driven to my home and my phone is good as new. Priceless…

I smashed my iPhone 6 today and called Ron. He came exactly when he said he would and fixed my phone in under 10 minutes. It does not get any better than that!

Great customer service and reasonable pricing for coming to my house to repair the cracked screen on my iPhone. I even bought a new, more sturdy case from the mobile «store» in the repair van. The repair person, Ron, was friendly, polite, and fast — took about 20 minutes and my phone works perfectly (there’s even a warranty on the work!) Much better than paying a bunch for a new phone!

Ron came to my work on my lunch break, and helped me out so quickly, it was awesome! I didn’t have much time for my break, so he actually brought it up to my office when he was finished. When I called to say thanks later on, he offered to replace the tempered glass he put on if it ever were to break, because there was a small piece of fuzz that got stuck underneath. So nice of him! He even matched the price of the other person in the area. Very trust worthy, genuine, happy guy. Definitely recommend him, and his convenient business.

Fabulous customer service and follow up. Within three hours of calling I had Josh at my home fixing my phone while I did the dishes. It was done in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommend and so much more efficient then driving to the mall and waiting an hour for my phone to be fixed. Price very comparable too!!!

Made an appointment and brought my son’s iPhone 5s into their office, I was pretty sure it was toast. Walked over to Chick Fillet, grabbed lunch, and it was ready when I got back. They fixed it to new again. Not to mention they are very warm and welcoming. They also offer a 90 day warranty, which is comforting to know. Hopefully I won’t need their services again anytime soon, but I’m glad to know where to go, if I do.

I’ve got to say I had to use your service again because I broke my phone again… Whoops! I cannot tell you how happy I am with my new phone screen and my new case and my new speaker and my new tempered glass. Ron’s amazing!!! This is the greatest service out there! use it! they come to you, in a super fancy truck. It’s like the ice cream man for phones, but the truck is a Mercedes. It really doesn’t get better than that! They provide you with amazing service. Amazing staff. I honestly cannot put into words how nice it is to have everything you want for your phone available and driven to you! So happy. And NO I am not hired to say this, nor am I related to anyone that works there! They are really just this awesome!

Just dropped my new iPhone 6 plus on the concrete last night after a nice dinner. Called a few places and found out not many will repair this phone. Talked with Ron on the phone and he said he can fix it no problem and come to my house! 2 – 3 hours later at my house he was here and my phone was fixed. Also more great news was my son was looking to buy a new (used) iPhone and he had one for my little man at a good price.

I highly recommend Ron to anyone who needs repair on their devices. He will come to you with his fun truck and fixes it right away within 20 minutes! He uses high quality and I have no problem with my iPhone at all.

I don’t usually write reviews but I’m so happy with Ron and his van that I gotta say something! So I was going to meet Ron around 5:30, but I had to leave early and he was running a little late. So we almost missed each other.
However, Ron felt badly for running late so afterwards he and his technician and his van rolled over to my house to make it up to me! Not only did he give me a discounted price on a new phone screen, but he gave me a cute case for my phone for free to make it up to me :)
Also, the quality of the finished product is picture perfect! Before he handed it over to me he made 100% sure it was working, fitting smoothly, and the home button was on point. The whole process was about 20 – 30 min, only 95 $ (cheaper than anywhere else I called around to), and on top of that Ron is a cool guy who’s nice to chit chat with.
I know who I am going to with any future phone woes! Thanks so much Ron! I’m so happy we didn’t miss one another!

My phone’s screen broke. i-​Caramba came to my workplace and fixed the phone while I worked. Very convenient and they worked on the phone until it was like new.
Well worth the money I spent.

My wife’s iPhone 5C ended up with a shattered screen. Called Ron. He was very communicative and arrived at my home as expected. Wow, what a nice mobile store, and right in front of your home. Ron was personable, reasonably priced, and a pleasure to chat with.
Within minutes, Ron had finished. The phone looked better than ever, and more than a month later, there are no issues to report.
