Janice has an amazing passion for hair and it shines through her kind and uplifting personality.
Every time I visit Janice, I go in looking a mess and come out like a new
Woman. My hair is always soft and shiny and so very natural looking.
I love her salon, too, great atmosphere, tastefully decorated with antique hair artifacts you gotta see.
I always look forward to great hair at the end or beginning of every month, yes, every 4 weeks! It’s definitely worth it!
She has excellent knowledge of pairing the right hair color and style for your personal style. You won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been going to Janice for quiet some time now and she’s the real deal! I love love my color! ! I asked for just random golden highlights and she nailed it! I can’t wait to show it off. She also does awesome precision hair cuts, and super smooth blow outs all at a reasonable price! I really enjoy all the tips on my hair and how to make it really shine. Her products are really good too. You can’t go wrong with Janice!

Janice is simply incredible. For years, I used a barber to get my haircut, until my girlfriend referred me to Janice… I will never use a barber again. Not only has Janice made my haircutting experience amazing, but I have never received so many compliments from people about my hair! I think women… you need to get your men in here and men, get your hair cut at least once and you will see what I’m talking about. Unfortunately, now I travel now a ton for work and am based in Souther California, but I am in the SF bay area at least once every 2 months, so I just wait to get my haircut with Janice because I don’t trust anyone else.

Janice has been doing my hair for many years now. I have followed her wherever she goes. I am super picky about my color and loved that she was a color educator. I moved so I have tried different stylist but they never seem to find out what new trends are I feel like I am telling them. Janice always shows me pictures of all of the education she goes to. I love hearing about all of the new things that she has learned. She always gets back to me right away and has accommodated my crazy schedule. I also love the whole Sola atmosphere. The girls she works with are always very nice to me as well. I will be going to her forever she takes her time with me and listens to my needs.

I think Janice is a decent stylist.however.scheduling with her is a nightmare and I’m an existing client. I call, email & no response for 3 days. Then when you tell her your availability it’s another 2 – 3 days for a response. On my last visit she double booked the time slot. what?. Business must be so great she doesn’t need my money. Very feustrating

Janice is a nice person. Unfortunately, she was fairly lackadaisical about my color, and left me with hair that was too dark and all one color. I was hoping for something more interesting. She assured me the color would fade, but who wants to wait 2 months for your hair color to be right? After much looking, I finally found a colorist for me.

Janice is a hair-​cutting ninja. She seems to intuitively understand exactly how best to cut your hair (even weird cowlick’s and stuff on guys’ hair, like mine). Always professional yet really down to earth and fun to talk to. Much better than those other overpriced trendy salon haircuts I used to get when I lived in San Francisco. Highly recommended. Best I’ve found in the East Bay. Don’t be put off by the somewhat um… un-​hip location near Rossmoor retirement community… she *knows* her stuff.

I absolutely LOVE Janice! I have been seeing her for 5 years now and I will not let anyone else touch my hair. I have lived all over the bay area and no matter where I live, whether it be 5 minutes from the salon or 2 hours I get my hair done by Janice. She’s great at listening to what you want and always makes sure she understands what you are asking for. On the other hand there are times when I want to do something different but I have no idea what I want and she will just come up with an idea and do it and it always looks fabulous. I get compliments on my hair all the time and even when I am 2 days away from my next appointment my hair still looks great! Cannot recommend Janice enough!

Simply stated — I don’t know what my daughter and I would do without Janice. She listens, and delivers the perfect cut. My daughter comes all the way from Tracy to see her. She’s perfect. Again, I don’t know what I’d do without her. Let her make you look exactly the way you want to.
