N Service Auto Repair

N Service is my only go to place for any motoring issues. They’ve worked on my Honda’s & Toyota’s… I always know how much it will cost when I drop it off, the work is done on time, generally I get my car back ahead of schedule, & they stand behind their installed parts & labor. They always take care of the little things, fluids, lamps & tire pressure when my vehicle is in for service too… I used the local dealership for Issues too, N Service is far better at getting me back on the road on time & under budget…

N Service has always given me excellent service at a fair price. Debbie and the crew are very pleasant and knowledgeable. Can’t understand the one star reviews, but some people are never satisfied. Highly recommended.

Our family has taken our cars to this shop for over 17 years. We’ve always found them to be honest and quite competent. The mechanic, Jason, really is great in diagnosing what the problem with the cars are and able to fix anything on our Toyotas and Hondas that we’ve brought to him. Jason is knowledgeable and
up-​to-​date with the latest technology used in cars. We trust Jason and the crew at N Service and know they won’t be trying to sell us on unnecessary repairs. We feel fortunate to have Jason as our mechanic and will continue giving him our business.

what do we fear most when we bring our car in for service? that it’s going to cost more than what we thought and/​or the job that was done was not done very well or not at all ! i’m here to say that n-​service has been my «go to» mechanic for the past 20 years. i get an estimate of the work to be performed before i leave, i always get a call if something unexpected pops up, explanations are always volunteered and easy to understand and have been referred on a couple of occasions to the dealer because it was going to save me some money. these guys and debbie are the real deal. honest, professional, experienced and customer service oriented… what more can you ask for.

Ugh — worst of the worst. These guys are pathetic. Brought car in for routine 60,000 mile servicing, it came out making raucous noises that weren’t there before. Brought it right back in, they spent an hour trying to find the problem. They didn’t succeed but tried to charge me for their time. Suggested it might be worn-​out struts and tried to sell me new ones (even though there were no noises when I brought it in). The front desk is rude and I can only conclude that they are technically incompetent.

It had two 5 star ratings so I thought I’d try them out… and wasn’t impressed at all. The co-​owner (front desk person) wasn’t that welcoming… even after asking if I had been there before, ie, knowing I’m a first time customer. One would think she would have tried a little to be more helpful or kind… something, but I felt like just another number.
The work done seems to be ok (a few engine belts changed — by one of their employees.) One of my tests of their level of customer service was to see if they’d clean the battery connection — you know where the cable connects to the battery and there’s a build up of… powdery stuff. Well, they didn’t clean it and made no effort to show me they cared about my business, not even after I mentioned hearing about them from Unilocal!They didn’t seem to care much about ratings on Unilocal… which indicated to me… another not-​so-​interested business owner.
Need I say… I won’t be going back to their shop and hope to find a good mechanic who shows a little interest in my car.

This team always gives me honest service and helpful advice. After a few visits for common tuneups, I went to them with a broken sunroof. After quoting me the price to fix it and seeing how concerned I was, he told me we could at least close it, and then if I wanted to fix it another time I could. So he hopped in the car and spent some time getting it shut, and didn’t charge me a dime. Great people.

The owners are really nice and the shop does excellent work. They let me know one of the problems I brought my vehicle in for was a recall and would be fixed by the dealership for free. They could have just fixed it and charged me and I never would have known. I always feel they give me a fair deal and they give rides to BART (and I am assuming they would pick you up, but I don’t know this for a fact)! I have recommended them in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
