Besides Kyle being fun to chat with and a wealth of knowledge about mechanical watches Kyle and his watchmaker helped me out big time when I was in a jam recently. I had purchased a Panerai 003 on eBay thinking I was getting a «good deal» (the price was very attractive). When it arrived I realized why it was comparatively so inexpensive, it was a mess. The movement was damaged and had a broken regulator and mainspring and had been badly mishandled by someone tinkering around inside who obviously had no business around the inside of a luxury watch. It was so bad that there was dirt, scratches on some of the blued screws, fingerprints and even a hair inside the movement. On the dial side it had been hit so hard during shipping that it left a big scratch on the bezel and the second hand had come completely off the watch and was rattling around inside the case between the dial and the crystal. Long story short they worked on my watch and when I got it back it literally looked like it was brand new, I’m not kidding! Even with a loop the movement looked flawless and the case was restored to a beautiful unblemished mirrored finish. Kyle even found an original Panerai rubber strap for my watch which I now wear with pride. I’d also like to say that for the amount of work that needed to be done, the cost for overhauling my watch to «like new» condition was in my opinion very reasonable. After a couple of bad watch experiences on eBay I probably won’t be buying or selling anymore watches there but I hope to be doing business with OC Watch Company for many years.

I’ve been taking my Panerai to Kyle since they opened. He knows his luxury watches and always has a good rotation of inventory to check out.
I wanted to get my watch cleaned up /​serviced and Kyle’s technician buffed it up like new. I also got some awesome leather and rubber bands that look better than standard Panerai (and at a much better price). I’ve referred a few friends to Kyle and they’ve been very happy with their experience.
If you’re looking for a luxury watch, I’d recommend starting with Kyle and seeing if he can find what you are looking for, vs. buying brand new at one of the other downtown jewelers.

Just stopped in yesterday for the first time for a strap change on my Glashutte Original. It was fresh from the factory and pristine. After the strap change, it still is! We chatted a bit after about watches, well let’s put it this way, I’m doing all my business with Kyle from now on. It doesn’t matter if the only Swiss brand you know is Rolex, or you’re a WIS and talk about watches using reference numbers, use a strap change tool for a toothpick, or find loupes under your couch. Kyle is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, engaged, and genuinely interested in helping his customers with whatever their needs are. This can be anything from sourcing Genta’s iconic 14 790 Royal Oak, to commissioning a custom made strap. Look the business up on IG and you’ll see pics of Kyle with the Red bar crew, and a certain Eric Ku in the background. This is expert level stuff we’re talking about. I’m bringing my family here, and recommend without hesitation to anyone to see Kyle for their horological needs. I look forward to my next visit to pour over their inventory and talk watchmaking!

The OC Watch Company is fantastic. I was looking for a new watch to celebrate an important life event and had looked at a few other jewelry stores before finding Kyle at the OC Watch Company. Kyle immediately made me feel at home in his store, and I quickly found out that he is unbelievably knowledgable when it comes to watches and motor sport history. Kyle is a true watch and automotive racing enthusiast. My Wife and I stopped in to get some links removed for a watch we didn’t buy there. The guy helping us was very nice and the small store was busy. I’ve known Kyle for quite a while. He’s as enthusiastic and knowledgeable about watches and jewelry as anyone I’ve ever seen. He has a passion for the business, and he’s very thoughtful, intelligent and friendly. Naturally, when it came time for me to make a large jewelry purchase, I came to Kyle. I always try to distract my husband when we’re walking by a watch store. We both love watches, but I’m pretty sure we feel differently about how many one person really needs to own. But today it was I who was eager to find this watch store in beautiful downtown Walnut Creek.
Let me back up 48 hours: While headed to see a production of Sleeping Beauty at the Lesher Center this weekend, my husband dropped his wallet in a parking garage. (doh!!) Fortunately, the world is full of great people. The honest couple who found it had already tracked down my phone number and called me only 20 minutes into the play! Casey’s credit cards, driver’s license, pilot’s license… all his pertinents and such… all in good hands!
Kyle, the owner of OC Watch Company, kept it for me at his store. What a great opportunity to get the wallet back AND check out a local watch store. I had hoped to bring (but couldn’t find) Casey’s Luminox in with me today for an overdue, minor repair. OC Watch Co. not only buys/​sells/​trades luxury watches, but they do watch repair work too! Their services also include authentication, movement service, overhaul, and full battery service. In addition to selling watches, they have a wide variety of men’s and women’s straps!
The store was easy to find and Kyle was really friendly as we talked briefly. Even their website is impressive and user-​friendly. I enjoyed looking through the site’s blog photos. My dad is a vintage-​historic auto racer (Shelbys and Cobras) and seeing Kyle’s photos of cars at some of the tracks I grew up on made me smile.

OC Watch is terrific, and it was a pleasure dealing with Kyle (the owner). Kyle has broad and deep knowledge about watches and the watch industry — far better even than the typical watch specialist at top-​end watch and jewelry shops. However, he’s completely «user-​friendly» and open, transparent and patient in explaining what your options are as a buyer, seller or trader. This place is a great addition to Walnut Creek! Kyle the owner is not only a total watch nerd (in a good way) but has great customer service. Great Pre-​Owned watch store opened in Walnut Creek! I stopped in to OC Watch Company the other day while I was in downtown Walnut Creek. The owner seemed really knowledgeable in the few minutes I got to spend with him. They have everything from Panerai, Rolex, IWC and some cool collectible pieces as well. Watch collectors should definitely check this place out!

I rarely write reviews unless a business establishment really strikes me as being above and beyond. In this case, I cannot recommend Kyle O’Connor (owner) enough! He recently left another shop in the area and I have to admit I panicked when I thought I might have lost the ULTIMATE source in preowned luxury watches. But, alas Kyle’s well deserved, loyal fan base came to my rescue with his current email address.
His products are stunning, his prices are great and the service is STELLAR. He actually seems to value the relationships he builds with his clientele and will «go on the hunt» to help you find that special watch.
After purchasing an engagement gift (an amazing Rolex GMT with wonderful history behind it) about a year and a half ago, I returned to WC today to pick up my ultra special anniversary gift for dear husband. For about 2 weeks, Kyle did a lot of leg work helping me hunt down the perfect watch. His superior knowledge of the products and extensive network of sources culminated in me leaving a VERY happy lady.
