Excellent and super friendly! The back of my favorite watch popped off and I couldn’t for the life of me get it back on. After struggling for about an hour I stopped by this place and he fixed it within thirty seconds at no charge! I was in and out within a minute. I’m going to be coming back with any of my future repair needs. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Parking spots right out front, not a super busy area it’s by some of the car dealerships on N Main. It makes it super easy to get to and is easy to stop by on your way to downtown or the freeway.

Watch Works is such a rare find in the Bay Area I almost want to keep it a secret. However, that would be unfair to this multi-​generation, family-​owned business. In short, you will find unsurpassed customer service, watch/​clock repair expertise and even some very cool vintage clocks and watches. Great business, great owner!

I walked in without an appointment to repair a loose hour marker on my automatic Tissot, Vince looked closely at it and gave me the low down on the risks and was very clear on setting expectations for the cosmetic fix. The repair was done in less than 2 days and was like new. Excellent work!

Great place! They were fast, friendly, informative. Replaced 4 watch batteries and took a link out of a 5^th watch in 10 minutes and the price was right! One battery had rusted and they showed us what happened and asked us what option we preferred moving forward rather than just doing the most expensive option and expecting us to pay. We will return!

What a great little shop! Stopped by on Monday (even though Unilocal said that they were closed on Mondays — the neon «OPEN» sign urged me inside anyway). I was greeted immediately, handled my watch over for a new battery, paid less than $ 10 for my new battery and was back on the road in a very short period of time. Can’t get much better than that.

Stopped in for a battery just before closing time. Quick, polite, reasonable price. Will bring more watches in with this kind of service.

Came just for a simple battery replacement for my old Polar heart rate monitor watch. I simply wanted to get in, have them swap the battery, and get out. No one greeted me at the door, but no biggie. Service was fine, as it didn’t take long. The lady there even reprogrammed my watch. $ 10 for a new battery and a reset, sweet!
Now as for the place itself, its very small with just a few labeled parking spaces. So you may have to park on busy Main St if needed. Being located in an outdated shopping strip, the store itself was just old, but expected. They offer a wide variety of clocks, watches, and alarms on display. Definitely had a lot of classic grandfather clocks. Some for sale, some sitting there ready for repair. Keep in mind, this place isn’t a specialty clock store, as it is more of a repair shop.

It’s so rare to find people that you can trust unequivocally. I’ve been to watch works a few times, and it’s amazing how honest both the husband and wife have always been with me about my watch. I’ve never paid more than $ 20 to get it fixed and sometimes they haven’t charged me anything because they could quickly take care of a problem. This is a no-​brainer if you need help with a clock or watch.

Every review about this place is 100% spot on, Vince is very personable and I was out of the store in 10mins with a working watch (Tag H). I’ll get my other watches fixed with him.

You know how Timex sells you those Triathlon watches so the band will break long before the watch? Then of course you find out the band is super hard to replace and/​or out of stock? They do that to get you to buy a new watch !
Well, i went to watchworks and they tricked-​out a new replacement band for me. The guy was awesome, friendly, did it in 3 minutes for $ 16. So, «In Yo Face», Timex !

I know every small business needs a break so was not surprised to see they are usually closed Mondays. While taking a break eating a salad in his parking lot the owner Vince of Watch Works drove up. He gladly opened the store and took car of my need. Now that is customer service!

Had an issue with the battery on my Nixon watch and the young woman that was working there was able to fix in less than 5 minutes, while I waited. This is now the only place I will ever go again for anything watch related.

why go anywhere else. I was missing a «keeper» on my watch band, that’s the small circle that wraps around your watchband and hold the strap in place. Vince replaced it right away, and although I never met him, did if for NO CHARGE!

Really great service here. I’ve been here twice to have the battery in my Tag changed, and both times it was done very quickly and by friendly people. Highly recommended.

It took Vince a total of three minutes two replace two watch batteries. That’s it! Maybe next time I will ask him to do the same thing blindfolded just to see how long it takes. He does work on alarm clocks and wall clocks as well, even sells a few, and I plan to bring him a clock that needs more than just a battery soon.
$ 9 for a battery replacement is comparatively priced with other places around town, and battery #6 is free after you have purchased five.
