I have been coming to Kim at pampered nails for four years now. I work 7 days and week and sometimes I can’t make it here and I need to get a quick manicure wherever it’s convenient, every single time I do that, I wish I hadn’t! Kim does an amazing job here. It’s a small salon and she is able to focus completely on you. Her husband helps out as well and will always give you an amazing shoulder massage as your nails dry. Kim also offers a nice massage for your arms and legs with a manicure and pedicure, I’ve never received that anywhere else I’ve gone. The salon is quiet and doesn’t have people rushing in and out of it. She has regular customers that appreciate her job. I get a regular manicure and everyone always asks me if they are gel. Prices are great. $ 30 for a mani– pedi– and massage. Can’t beat that. I’ll be moving back to Los Angeles in a month and one of the things I will miss the most about living here is Kim at Pampered Nails. Thanks for keeping my nails looking gorgeous and keeping my muscles relaxed once a week!

I have been seeing Kim for 4 years now… maybe longer. She is fabulous at what she does. If you go in for the mani and pedi, they give you a fabulous leg massage that no other salon can match and she does facials and waxing as well. It’s like a one stop shop! :)

I want to give this place 5 stars so much it actually hurts. Kim, the lady who did my nails at this salon is such a sweetheart. I’m new to the Walnut Creek area so I really needed to find a manicurist, and came across Pampered Nail Salon through Unilocal,I read all the great reviews and knew I had to try it out. It’s a little tricky to find, but that’s only because it’s slightly hidden behind a salon. Kim was able to accommodate the appointment to my schedule, the same day I called. She called me and was even trying to give me proper directions, since I did get a little lost. I was there for a gel manicure, she did a BEAUTIFULJOB! Except for one thing, once I was home and I started looking at my nails I noticed that some nails had bubbles which I absolutely don’t like, and secondly when she painted my nails she left some of the paint on the side walls of my nails. So I had to remove that myself but in the process of that I slightly messed up the paint on the side of some nails, due to not removing it properly. I’m definitely going back because I really wan to give this place another shot!

Look no further for a great nail salon in Walnut Creek. Kim is the best! She does a beautiful job and is so sweet, and her prices her fair. I had a pedicure and manicure(with gel), and it the BEST I’d ever had(and I’ve been to several other salons in Walnut Creek, including Changes, which charges double the price, and is so hard to get an appointment at the time you want!). Kim was so kind and gave us the best massage too, when our nails were done. I definitely recommend her to all of my friends.

Purchased a Groupon for a facial at the business and called to schedule an appointment. The woman with a very heavy Chinese accent got on the phone and explained that they can’t take me on Saturday as they are too busy. Then from what I understood I’m going to be called later with available time as she was too busy to talk to me at that moment. Next time I called again I was told that I missed my appointment scheduled for Sunday. Nice surprise! Ok, never mind. I’m trying to call again to schedule something I can make but being told that I should look for another place as this one is too busy to work with me. Well next time let Groupon know that you only service when you are not busy which doesn’t seem happening at all. Bad customer service from the beginning:(((

Can’t believe I didn’t know this nail salon was in my neighborhood! It’s tucked away in the back of a beauty shop and seems to be owned and operated by a couple who were both very nice. The mani/pedi is only $ 25 and includes hand and foot massages as well as a little shoulder massage at the end while your nails are drying:) Fantastic deal with great service!

Let me just preface this by saying that I have never written a Unilocal review before, but this place was so bad that I felt the need to. After reading the reviews on this page, I expected this place to be pretty good — sadly I was misguided. There are 3 reasons as to why I will never return to this salon: 1) I made an appointment for my friend and I to get our nails done the next day at 1 pm. When we arrived we had to wait 15 minutes until they finally had a station for us yet they only had one available manicurist, so my friend ended up waiting an additional 10. I don’t understand why they bother taking appointments if they aren’t going to take us in at the scheduled time(or at least within 10 minutes of the appointment). 2) They completely rushed through our manicures, and although the guy doing mine did a pretty good job, it wasn’t enjoyable at all. I felt that they were trying to rush us out so they could take care of the 5 other people waiting. My friend on the other hand was really rushed, and the woman doing her nails got shellac on her skin and did a pretty messy job. 3) But what really annoyed me the most was when it came time to pay. The woman charging me(I’m assuming the owner) told me she would charge me $ 5 less because I had to wait. So my total would only be $ 25 instead of $ 30 for a shellac manicure. The website clearly states that it is only $ 25 for a shellac, not $ 30. Maybe they should make sure that what they are advertising is aligning with what they are actually charging. One positive comment: They did give my friend $ 5 off due to her extra wait, which was nice. Other than that, I have nothing good to say. I will happily deter anyone from going to this salon. They should really take care of their customers opposed to trying to squeeze a bunch in at one time.

Accidentally discovered this place when booking and appt at their original location. This is in the back of a hair salon. Woman did my nails and gentleman did my feet. They allowed my SO to be in the chair next to me although he did not have anything done. Peti(done 2 weeks ago), still looks great. Mani lasted a good 5 – 6 days and begin chipping badly(normal) however that top coat was amazing. Will be back.

After reading through the rave Unilocal reviews, I visited this nail salon twice this year, once in their previous location. I was so thoroughly un-impressed the first time with the crowds and people waiting, breathing down your neck even when I cared to get an appointment prior. I barely remembered how good or bad the pedicure I got was, because I was too uncomfortable with the next person waiting to be attended to, sitting in the chair next to me. I just wanted to run. Fast forward to the new location, and many months later, I did a walk-in when the salon seemed empty. The experience was a complete 180. A basic pedicure + manicure cost me $ 28 + tip, but the selling point was how service oriented Eduardo seemed. I have been to quite a few businesses that are in the aesthetics industry, and many of these people seem to be in it to fleece you off, some more than the others. It is those rare few that I tend to look for that come with the best of integrity and service-mindedness. Shelling a few extra dollars on services offered by such people is always a pleasure. And I think I found one such nail salon. I definitely wanted to rate them at a 5, but will wait until I am completely certain that they definitely use sterilized equipment for your services.

They were nice enough, but she wasn’t very gentle with my hands and she made two of my fingers bleed. They also don’t have anything other than a fan to dry your nails with, so I left with wet nails and they got smudged immediately, even though she assured me they were dry. Not a huge mistake, but I’ll look for another place next time.

This is my favorite place for a mani/pedi/massage! It is a small family business, and they are incredibly friendly and genuine. They have recently downsized to a smaller location, but I haven’t had trouble getting a same day appointment even with the reduction in space. I have been going to them for years, and they have helped me with everything from making me feel better on a bad day to unruly eyebrows to a migraine! I sometimes bring my oldest daughter in, and they always go out of their way to make her feel special too. They do gel/shellac, and even silk nails. The prices here are always better than any other nail salon in Walnut Creek, and the service can’t be beat.

Special: $ 25 for a Mani and Pedi This is a hidden gem. They are located behind the Grateful Salon. There is an entrance in the alley or you can walk through the Salon. It is a small location so you should call ahead to make an appointment. They have a great selection of polishes and they give the best massages. Yes, they massage your legs during the pedi and your shoulders during a mani. Worth every penny.
