Estimated delivery time — 45 minutes. I’ve been waiting over an hour and a half, still no delivery. I had already called 30 min ago and was told«oh it’ll be another 20 minutes, but not much longer…»

Yum yum. Great cheese pies here! We had pepperoni here once, it was a little greasy. But that’s pepperoni for ya! A little pricey also. Buuut I’m from Florida were an awesome large pie will cost 10 bucks We come here almost 3 times a month! Love this place. The staff is amazing! ! Everyone is very nice and accommodating.

I ordered delivery from Pancoast this evening. I got the Organic Green Salad with chicken and a «small» Stromboli. The salad left a lot to be desired. It was reminiscent of a cafeteria side dish. The carrot disks and cubed cucumber were not impressive, especially for the price. The chicken(used for both the salad and Stromboli) looked like it had been pulled out of a prepackaged bag at the grocery store. It was supposed to be smoked chicken in the Stromboli, but that is a huge stretch. Doubtful. The roasted garlic inside the Stromboli was whole cloves, not what I expected, and I ended up having to pull them out. Now the good stuff: the small Stromboli is easily enough for two meals, the dough was delicious, and the homemade Ranch dressing was delicious. Next time, and there probably will be a next time, I would skip the salad, the chicken, and the roasted garlic. All I need is that Stromboli. Maybe I’ll give the homemade meatballs a try in my Stromboli. I’m sure they are delicious. Final verdict — It’s worth a try, but choose carefully.

I didn’t realize there was such a thing as east coast pizza… until I left the east coast and could never find the same greesy gooiness that I grew up with. Pancoast hits the spot. Pizze by the slice — everything made and molded right in front of you. Its amazing how many workers can fit in that tiny space. They always have a veggie friendly and meat lover specials of the day, so there’s no waiting around smelling pizza before you can actually eat it. Yessss. We got there before official opening time, but they welcomed us with open arms and were already getting ready to ship deliveries out the door. Only a few tables for eating, but we’ve never had seating issues every time we’ve been here. Nice location near the high school. Great post-tennis workout grub.

One of the only ‘by the slice’ pizzerias that I’ve found. The pepperoni was exactly how oily it should be, to be able to contend with a slice from NY. As a long island native I’m always on the hunt for a decent slice. This is the only place in Walnut Creek that comes close, and they’re still an astronomical unit away from vintage Long Island .They also have Sicilian pies, but only offer Sicilian by the slice on Wed. I’ll be back to try that.

I had a group-on for this place and it’s right down the street from me, so it is convenient. The pizza is delicious and it is super thin like New York style. It seemed extra greasy and was hard to eat without getting messy, but that’s the draw of this style pizza. I used my fork and knife risking some heckling, but the employees were very friendly and kind. Without the group on, this seems a bit pricey, but it is one of the few places around to get New York style. Overall, I would go back for more!

I’ve worked in the pizza industry over 15 years and always enjoy trying a new pizza joint out especially when they have special ingredients. This was by far 1 of the worst pizza culinary experiences ever !!! Quite frankly Costco makes a pepperoni pizza just as good and way cheaper.

Food is pretty good for the most part. Normally I’d give them 4 stars but the service whether Unilocal24 or Pan coast is pretty bad for deliveries. The salad is great. But don’t order delivery. It’ll take FOREVER. I waited an hour and 45 minutes for my pizza and salad and the guy forgot my salad. I probably will not order takeout from them again. They clearly can’t handle the excess ordering. Makes sense given the kitchen is very small. Beware of takeout!

This gem was introduced to me by a co-worker. With the exception of bringing Pan Coast Pizza into my world, the coworker brought nothing good to the table. But even this putz proves that excellent NY style pizza can transcend the spectrum of humanity. Pros: Live Dead playing, clean rest rooms, Mexican coke, sells pizza by the slice, decent parking, no brick oven gimmicks, dough left to rise —, auth pizza toss, free refills, $ 300 slicgood beer selection, takes credit cards, delivers. And, oh yeah, excellent thin crust pizza. No need for toppings to confuse the palate. Enjoy! Would have had 5 stars except… — rolling pin to press out the dough(wtf?)

Hands down best pizza for the area! Glad we bought a Groupon to try this place out. My sister and I run by it all the time but thought it was like any other pizza joint. Boy were we wrong! Grimaldi’s in NY is by far my favorite thin crust bc everything on top of the crispy crust is so flavorful. Pan Coast is on par! We ordered the Benjamin Franklin and devoured the pizza. The red onions, sweet red peppers and jalapeños were just the right amount. Also added an order of the the garlic twist and devoured that before the pizza! Lol. I think they make their own ranch but gotta try it! I’m not a ranch person but this was perfectly lite with a sharp creamy taste but not overwhelming. Lil sister literally consumed the whole container they gave us. The staff all seems very cool and laid back. I live about a 20 minute walk to Pan and order it for 6:45 to eat there. They had it ready by 6:45 and served it to us when we sat. Thanks for the delicious pizza! We’ll be seeing you guys again soon!

This review is for delivery through GrubHub. The app says delivery will be within an hour, but the shop sometimes can only deliver within 90 minutes. So if you are looking for a faster pie, this ain’t your place. The food is good, but the delivery is shotty.

If this is some of the best pizza you’ve ever had, I truly feel sorry for you. While I can’t say it was the absolute worst, it’s a far cry from excellent. My husband and I got a large pie with extra sauce & pepperoni. Not only was there not extra sauce on our pizza, there was hardly any at all. I peeled the cheese off a slice & it was 100% bare. Aside from that, it was just bland and lacking any pizzazz. For lack of a better word, I would call their pizza«generic.» We won’t be returning. P. S. This is NOTNY pizza!

So, I work at a nearby hospital and another dept. decided the other day to buy our dept. lunch for being so helpful. Wow so nice and unexpected! She asked about what pizza toppings people would want, I’m figuring a veggie one & maybe a pepperoni one to cover all the bases? She says«oh don’t worry I’ll get veggie and I’ll get something for the meat lovers.» Okay, I tell the crew and they’re surprised and excited. You know FREEFOOD… So in walks the pizza dude with 5 giant boxes, and as we open each one we are dazzled even more by the next!!! These aren’t just your run of the mill thick crust, cheese and sauce with toppings tossed on top… oh hell no! The first one was I think Arugula and olive with goat cheese. The next was a beautiful Margherita pizza Then the one I was all over had roasted garlic, goat cheese(?), mushrooms, basil, sauce and added caramelized onions… Julie’s pizza WOW! Loved it!!! Didn’t have any but it looked amazing, a sunny side up egg & bacon one(@@) And last but not least, a pineapple and ham with jalapeños! Smelled crazy delicious! Only drawback was we didn’t get a togo menu, because we could certainly order some of that pizza again on our weekends. Plus they deliver. BooYa!

This small pizza joint located in the south side of Walnut creek specializes in New York style pizza i.e. thin big slices that you usually need to fold in half in order to eat. I came here with a coworker and we both ordered the lunch combo for $ 8.00. The combo comes with a slice of any pizza you want, a choice of either an organic greens salad or a Caesar salad, and a small drink. The pizzas are on display but they don’t just cut you off a slice and serve it to you. Instead they throw it in the oven first, guaranteeing that it’s hot and bubbly for you to eat. The pizza was a little bit greasy as was expected but none the less awesome. The salad was the star of my meal though. It was a good Caesar salad anyways, but the amount of freshly shaved Parmesan that was mixed in made this good salad great.

So I’m actually really upset at myself for not trying this place sooner. My sister’s boyfriend said he wanted«Stromboli» for dinner and I had no idea what the heck that was, but I joined them anyway. We came to Pancoast Pizza and I recall driving by the place several times. We ordered a pepperoni stromboli and a hoagie sandwich… I didn’t try the hoagie but the stromboli was a basically an exploding pizza burrito of cheesy amazingness. SO delicious. The staff was super nice, and one of the girls brought us over some of their garlic knots to try for free; Holy balls they were amazing. So amazing in fact that my sister’s boyfriend came by the next day to pick up garlic knots for dinner. We even saw a lady come in JUST for the garlic knots — she had garlic knots and a soda. DEFINITELY get these if you decided to dine here.

Excellent NY style pizza, especially if you are looking for a good slice joint. Reminds me a bit of Arinell in Berkeley but with nice salads and more menu choices. This small spot has good quality food and 4 – 5 tables if you want to dine in. Sampled a few of there pies recently and all were good. Pep was fine with a little heat. The best was a smoky chorizo with picked peppers and potatoe. Wow was that good! Note: the high school is right next door so there is a bit of a lunch time rush. Also, the meat ball sub looks really delicious.

Awesome, pizza! We walked in about 15 minutes before the restaurant opened so we waited for a little bit for the place to get set up, but it was well worth the wait. My boyfriend and I ordered a slice of the daily BOB(salami, tomatoes, and basil pesto), cheese and pepperoni pizza. We also got 4 garlic knots to share between the two of us. The pizza, to say the least, really hit the spot. The crust was crispy and chewy and the toppings were extremely flavorful. The garlic knots were tasty as well. They were really soft and crispy on the outside. We’ll definitely be coming back.

**For Delivery** It seems that I have a tendency to succumb to my pizza cravings any time I’m working until the wee hours of the morning, and usually by 1 or 2am the late night selections are limited to those pizza joints that are catered to the inebriated. THANKFULLY, B had already ordered the pizza before I started doing the«should I order a pizza dance» last night. which is SUPERSMART because this place closes at 10 on Fridays. AND we ended up working until about 2am. Considering the fact that I just got home from Baltimore and ordered a less-than-satisfying pizza the night before, I was a bit skeptical about wanting to eat more pizza. but OHMY. I was so happy I did. To ORDER: The B.E.S.T Pizza — no seriously. its the best. it is bacon, eggs, spinach and tomato. and was really frickin’ good. Unlike the late night gross-ness that occurred the night before, which left me craving stupid amounts of water — this was a great showing for what imagine when I want pizza. The pizza crust wasn’t too doughy, pizza was flavorful and the ingredients were well-balanced. None of this pizza from the school cafeteria nonsense… Will definitely recommend it for anyone who is in Walnut Creek and looking for some legit pizza!

Talk about a greasy, New York style pizza! On the way back from the Scottish Games in Plesanton, found this spot on Unilocal.Easy to get to right off the freeway, right before the main shopping area in Walnut Creek. Small building that shares a parking lot with a massage place. Walked in expecting to hear some Italian music or something Top 40, but instead we were welcomed by about 4 guys in their 20s-30s all listening to rap. It was a surprise to us! :) The husband ordered us a Meatza’zola to try and we sat down at one of the open tables inside(there are a couple outside). It took maybe 25ish minute for our pizza but it was piping hot when it was brought to our table. Definitely delivered on taste! I am more of a Chicago deep dish fan myself, but this was a great thin crust! My only gripe-the plates! Ask for extra because I’m sure the grease from your pizza will make your plate weak before you even finish the first slice. I say triple up because the plates are the flimsy, cheap paper kinds that you take out for company you’re not fond of. ;)
