Pro Home Systems

I just moved to the neighborhood, and was disappointing Pro Home would not come over to give me an estimate on a very large speaker installation project — unless I paid almost $ 100 just for the visit. I only live 2 miles away, and explained that another party was paying for the project so I just needed the estimate before I could order the speakers. Further I was told someone would stop by, and then was only told there would be a fee after this person did not show up. I am not sure if this is a industry practice or not, but they lost a large order and potential future customer.
