An awesome music venue for musicians! The staff members are awesome, support the bands and their music, nice to the parents who come to watch their kids, etc. Thank you for providing such a venue! You never know who is going to get their start in the business thanks to Red House Studios! Rock on!

You want your kids to LOVE music? Have them take lessons here. The staff is super skilled AND cool. Want your kids in a band? The foundry program is great. I think this is the way to go if you want your kids to pursue music for life, not just for a few years. What a cool idea, great staff, the real deal. Real music — not«lessons.» Justin Garza manages the place and is really responsive, insightful and helpful. Nick is our piano teacher — LOVEHIM. Seriously — go here!

My kids took a rock band class here with Dani. They got to try several different instruments and perform on stage. They loved it.

Love this place, cool staff, you can lay down some tracks and they will record, mix and master it for a fee. They have a bar and food as well. They support local music, my band The Human Contortion has played there a few times. Nice open floor for the fans to dance and mosh. I recommend you check out a show or two here some time. METAL!!!

Started some guitar lessons here with Dylan and he was great. Really friendly and knowledgeable so five stars for him. I never attended any of the shows so can’t speak to those. My reason for the two stars is that I paid for 4-pack of lessons that I ended up not using. One lesson was back-dated, which is fine. However, Justin told me I had a late cancel, which is crap. So I used one and was charged for two and refunded two. No bueno. Too bad as I liked the place, but don’t appreciate getting nickel and dime’d like this.

So besides this being an awesome tiny venue for metal bands, the dude who made my onion rings gave me many options of sauces and was super nice. He gets 5 stars in my book. Thanks man

Went tonight and lost 90 minutes of my life I can not get back. Due to either an app glitch or linking to my itunes, it said my 80“s band YAZ was playing, spent $ 24 on tickets to listen to RAP music… not fun… Also BANDSINTOWN app sucks for saying they were playing there. Glad my friend was willing to stay and make sure the music line up was incorrect… and the other two 80’s fans that made us feel like we didnt make the dumbest mistake.

I never heard of the Red House until friends asked me to join them to listen to their trumpet playing friend in the Soul Woggie on Sat, March 29th. Stunning performances by Soul Woggie and the Mic Gillette Band. The Red House hosts professional bands and provides practice & recording studio facilities to the next generation of musicians. Great atmosphere to enjoy the best of music, have a drink, and dance with your sweetie. I’m very surprised how under the radar this place is given the talent that plays there. Thanks to all the dedicated Red House staff & musician instructors to keep the artistry of music alive!

Red House is so awesome! It’s a great little venue for showcasing local music and talents– not to mention the staff working there is great and they offer an array of music lessons throughout the week to kids of the area. I saw Motograter here last weekend and it was so fun. Also, they have a well stocked little bar with a great selection of food and beers(mmm, Lagunitas. on tap nonetheless) at a pretty good price. Come out to a show at Red House and leave anticipating the next!

They book some good metal shows here(inanimate existence, zenith passage, arkaik, ect) The venue is pretty small, they have a recording studio. The bar only sells beer which are super cheap, and they sell things like personal pizzas. The people and bartenders who work here are very kind and easy to talk to especially the female bartender and the man with the beard(I forgot his name). I always have a lot of fun here!

Good spot to grab a couple vodka codeines and watch our tour package at. Bunch of mosh wiggers spilled shit while they were going ham, that’s better than anything in my opinion. A kid moshing all hard and then slipping on his face is like a Snow White colt. Pure. Too pure for this place. A simple, pure thing, there for you to briefly look at and remember a time where things felt less complicated. Less than the way they do now.

Pretty solid place in WC to get your rehearsal on! As a drummer who unfortunately lives in an apartment, Red house is my go-to spot to rent out a studio every now and again. I have no experience with this spot as a live music venue, but it definitely does the job as far as rehearsal studios go.

Red House does a good job showcasing local bands. They had a loud soundsystem, a nice stage with pro lights, pro recording, and nice practice and learn-how-to-play rooms. As a «bar» it is a little lacking. They have beer and wine sales at the counter outside the music room and no wait staff — so if you want a beer, you go to the counter and wait. If its a popular band, it can get pretty crowded — standing room only. The times I was there, it was really loud in the room. However, they give out free ear plugs at the counter if you ask nicely.

We found out about this place from my friend Lauren. My son attended a week long Rock Band Camp this summer. It was four days of 1.5 hrs of practicing and the fifth day was 1 hour of practice and then the last half hour was dedicated to their GIG! Yes they played what they learned during the week for all the parents and family. It was awesome! My son is just 5 yrs old and this has sparked even more interest in music, he loved playing the keyboards of all the instruments. So with that, we just signed him up for lessons. Unfortunately, we live over 25 mins from Red House so we are getting lessons locally. My son will always remember his rock band camp experience. Also, the staff was very kind and patient with the children… a big plus!

Red House was a fun spot to hold a 10 yo rocker-themed bday party. The super-patient and friendly staffer set up instruments(drums, keyboard, guitar, bass, vocals) on stage and taught them all a Queen song(more of a repetitive phrase), then they took a break for cupcakes and presents and ended with a live performance for the parents, complete with stage entrance, lights, fog machine, etc. It was something different that none of them had done before for a bday party, and all kids participated and seemed to enjoy making loads of noise(if you are a parent sensitive to that… move along this activity is not for you). 5 stars for creative, fun, different type of party that allows participants to become«rockstars» for a couple of hours. The $ 250 price is on par with other bday party venues. They provide their genuine main stage venue with cocktail tables and sofa seating, instruments, sound/lights and the music teacher. They even passed out earplugs to the kids that wanted them. No prior musical experience necessary for the kids. You provide your own food/drink/treats. 2 stars for communication… you have to really be persistent to get to the right person on the phone and they rarely return calls. In fact, I’d recommend just going down there in person. They charged our credit card a month before our event and I couldn’t ever get a phone confirmation in the days before the party… but once we arrived the on-site staff was great… so you just gotta trust that they’ll be ready for you. The kids had a little more down time than we were led to believe they would and they used the extra time to goof around on the instruments. Some kids got a little territorial with the instruments, so a little bit of sharing encouragement was needed. With 8 kids, each had his own station… although I was told if there were more kids than instruments, they could just take turns. We took video to remember the finale performance. It really takes parent love to listen to it. :) Kiddo would now like to take drum lessons(perhaps at Red House). I can be down with that… but I think we’ll get thru the school year with clarinet before we go down that path.

The place is pretty clean. The venue is a bit small and there aren’t many seats when bands are playing. We sat against a wall until somebody moved =P. I came here to watch a friend’s friend perform lol. It was pretty chill. At the beginning, the lighting was kind of weird and repetative I dunno lol. Beers are $ 4. When we got our Corona & Sierra Nevada(Pale Ale), I noticed that they have those kewl bud-light beers in aluminum cans up in their fridge that I rarely see(maybe I need to get out =P). All in all, the show was good and the place was chill.
