I’d recommend Dr. Shigio. I’ve been seeing him for several years [pun intended]. His exams are thorough and if there’s ever a problem, he’ll let you know. My prescription has changed over the years and he’s been great about offering advice on different alternatives. Now I’m using multifocal contact lenses instead of both contacts and bifocal glasses. That’s pretty cool. He will even write your a prescription if you want to buy contacts elsewhere, but I’ve found his rates are pretty competitive so I opt to give him that business as well.

I went to regular exam and contact lens prescription.
1. Took extra fee photo without permission
2. Before exam I explained that I want a new contact I never tried. He did exam and I asked for free trial sample. He said he doesn’t carry it, so go somewhere else to get trial. I asked if it is free. They cannot answer.
3. Eye sight check is very short compare to any other eye doctors.
4. Does not tell me check up results unless I asked.
Won’t go back.

Dr. Shigio is warm, efficient and good at his job. I’ve been going there for several years for eye exams and contacts. But what really impressed me was the service on a day I was having an eye emergency. I walked into Dr. Shigio’s office without an appointment. He saw me quickly and didn’t charge for the visit. I will be a loyal customer for years to come!
