ONLYGIVINGONESTARBECAUSEITISREQUIRED. This place has the absolute worst customer service. DONOTGOHERE. Sad to say that I was a regular customer here, as are all of my co-workers, and the entire Kaiser facility I work at which is right next to here. I called in my order on 11÷18÷15 as I usually do. When I received my order they gave me 1 Ham deli muffin and 1 bacon deli muffin… My order was 2 deli muffins. When I got some free time to call, I called them and notified them of their mistake. They asked me to bring it back… WHATRESTAURANTASKSTHAT? I told them NOTHATWOULDBEIMPOSSIBLE as their mistake was not my problem and I was already on work time. So they finally agreed that they would replace my sandwich for a future date. Today 11÷19÷15 I called to request my bacon deli muffin be replaced as was agreed upon yesterday. The lady tells me that after she talked to the owner they wouldn’t replace the sandwich since I didn’t bring it back. I come here REGULARLY, and for them to basically think that I am trying to get over on a $ 4 sandwich is completely disrespectful. I told her that was not possible for me as I was already on the clock and I have never heard of any place INSISTING that you return your wrong order. Not to mention the inconvenience they were causing me. Why should I have to go out of my work day to make them replace their mistake?! She went on to say that after talking to those employees no one recalls putting ham. Basically implying that I am a LIAR. If I’m not mistaken, the number one rule for this type of business is THECUSTOMERISALWAYSRIGHT. Very sad that people lack basic customer service for them to insist that I was a liar, as well as refuse to apologize and compensate for their mistake. All of this over a $ 4.25 deli muffin. Instead of replacing a sandwich they made a mistake on. They have lost many customers forever. So in the end I will be getting the last laugh. Thanks for your mistake! You just dug yourself into losing tons of money in the future. Long story short. for them to treat me this way after the amount of money that I have spent at this deli is completely ridiculous! My entire department will NO LONGERBEGIVINGTHEMBUSINESS. I WILLBENOTIFYINGEVERYONE I KNOWTHATGOESHERETOSTOP. That includes the luncheons provided by our employer for meetings as well as when my coworkers or even the doctors that I assist go there for lunch.

Horrible customer service — way over priced for quality — this place survives on location convenience only and I’d rather travel farther

I’ve had the breakfast sandwich, soups and sandwiches here and they are tasty enough for me to keep coming back mostly because of the convenience in location. However the prices are too high for what you are receiving(not a ton of meat/high quality meat nor fresh baked bread in-house or organic ingredients like some other delis). They don’t have any grills or ovens, just a microwave, expresso machine(with single serving pods) and sandwich counter. They make it work though and the taste of the food doesn’t suffer. The ladies and owner are nice and happy to help, so I will keep going back.

Do you enjoy extremely mediocre seven dollar sandwiches?! Then I have the place for you, go to Deli Delight, the only deli in the nation to charge ONEDOLLAR for a slice of cheese. Yes, you heard me correctly, cheese is extra. A dollar extra to be exact. But seriously, if you have the opportunity to avoid this place please do.

I ordered the Gourmet Delight on sourdough sliced bread. The sandwich was really good! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the atmosphere could definitely use some décor to lighten it up and I thought it was a bit pricey. I only bought 2 sandwiches and it came out to $ 15.00.

Their pace has good soups. That is all I have gotten. The place is stuffy and full of odors both times I’ve went in. Not bad soup, but not appetizing. Seems they need to improve airflow or something.

If you like roast beef that glistens with rainbow colors, then this place is for you.

The only thing I hate about this place is that they NEVER wash there hands before touching your food. I usually come in for a bagel once in a while, she just goes straight for the bagel after touching other stuff for example her phone, face and other foods. I think any one handling food should wash there hands after every order and before starting one.

I recently had a Doctor’s appointment in the Shadelands just before Lunchtime. Afterwards, I went out looking for a place to grab a sandwich and Deli Delight(near Kaiser) appeared as I drove out the long way. I would agree that there’s good staff and service here, the food is a shade better than«A-OK»(I had a tuna melt, no chips, and a drink), and the prices are Walnut Creek reasonable. The atmosphere is rather bland, but considering where this place is, there’s no need for anything fancy.

The interior is really uninteresting. The sandwiches are okay: nothing special. Came here for a quick bite before my doctors appointment. I would like to give this place zero stars because the person preparing my food did not use gloves, what about hygeine? Also, the coffee was bitter and tasteless, I couldn’t drink it.

The sandwiches here are so wonderful. The atmosphere is lacking, but it’s really catering to the local businesses in downtown Shadelands where I suspect they get it to go and just sit in their cubicles to eat. The owner, Victor, is pretty nice and knows my name and what I like. My favorite is the turkey-cranberry-stuffing sandwich(I call it the Thanksgiving sandwich) and this is the only place I know of that does this kind. The turkey avocado is also a pretty mean one too. Price is mid-range, neither cheap nor expensive. Deli Delight… my co-worker thinks it should be called Belly Delight and I agree.

Good staff, they were very helpful and attentive. The food isn’t amazing but the prices are reasonable. Considering there’s nothing around, I’ll be back to try the other dishes.

The Blended Green Tea is not bad. Although, it is just a powder form mixed with water and ice.

What a rip off, super expensive sandwiches that you can make at home! They charge a dollar for a freaking slice of cheese?! The salad bar condiments are NOT fresh and are scarce – meaning they hardly fill up the condiments containers, only ¼ of the container has anything in it! Food looks old! It’s really a rip off.

Great sandwich that tasted really fresh. I ordered the turkey and avacado and the avacado was like it was just opened and sliced, not mushy and brown. I also loved the fact that they offer sprouts! Everyone was really friendly. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Sandwich was decent(Italian Sub), but the bread was too dry. Hard to bite into. Ingredients were fresh though and there’s a lot of sandwich makers inside so you don’t wait too long. A cheaper alternative than Morucci’s or Genova, but the quality isn’t there either. However, the upside is that there’s a lot of seating, both indoor and outdoor.

I get sandwiches here every few weeks. The owners are super nice, so extra star for that. I pretty much stick with the chicken salad sandwich which has been yum. Everytime I’ve tried something else I’ve been let down, the other meats were cut too think for my taste. I call it in ahead and walk down to pick it up– exercise prior to lunch, a good thing. The sandwich comes with a pickle and pepperochini which is tasty. I tried a smoothie once but found it to be too sweet.

This little deli is tucked away in a corner near Kaiser in Walnut Creek(Park Shadelands offices). It is approx. 1 minute drive away from my office which is perfect for days that I don’t bring lunch or want to get out of the office for lunch. I’ve only had their deli sandwiches, which I’ve found to be very yummy! Fresh and tasty ingredients. A half sandwich with a bag of chips and a bottled drink ran me about $ 7 and some change. Not bad! I would definitely recommed this no frills deli to a friend.
