There was a mini birthday party going on when I walked in. I inquired about the super cute macarons, so I was given a list of available characters. I chose Eeyore and Totoro. How did they taste? Just like other macarons. My priority was the cuteness, not the flavor. They were $ 3 each. The bakery is located in a strip mall away from the busy area.

Super cute macaroons! I love that they have unique flavors like lavender, Thai tea, earl grey. We didn’t have a chance to try the waffles. The designs were super cute too! We came on a Saturday at 5:00 and the display case was pretty much empty. Also there was a limited number of character choices.

Their egg puff tastes good when it is fresh. You can choose different favor and different filling for you egg puff. You can also get egg puff with ice cream. They will use a cup to put them together. And they also have lots of cupcake choices. But to me, their cupcakes are a little too sweet. They made customized macaroons as well. The macaroons are very cute, but also pricy. In a word, they are a little bit over priced.

The employees were so nice and accommodating yesterday afternoon! Our parents told us they sold Macaroon leis without telling us they are supposed to be pre-ordered. Thus when we walk in an hour before we needed to leave for a graduation, needing a lei, and realizing we should have pre-ordered, we were incredibly grateful that the two girls working actually made us a lei in under 15 minutes! Granted, we had almost zero requests in regards to macaroon flavors and such, but the skill and assistance was amazing. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! We will be coming back for tasty treats later this summer! :)

Super cute character macaroons that make great gifts! The price for them are reasonable, $ 2 for regular macaroons and $ 3 for character macaroons. Will definitely come again!

LOVE their macaroons! This bakery is such a gem in Walnut. They are pricey but worth it. My sons tried the ice cream sandwiches today and fell in love. We will definitely be regulars.

This place is SOCUTEANDSOGOOD! When I first walked in, the worker welcomed us so sweetly and it made me even more excited to choose my sweets. The cartoon macroons are more delicious than they look

«Hidden Gem» talk about finding an awesome place to have delicious tea and yummy pastries in the city of Walnut. Puffect bakery café just delivers everything you could expect from a high end bakery at a more reasonable price. From macaroons, cupcakes, parfait, hot and cold teas to fresh watermelon juice drinks. You will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth cravings here. This is really the sweet spot to visit!

After three failed attempts trying to get a Starbucks beverage, my husband and I stumbled across this delicious and quaint bakery :) today was our first visit and ended up only trying their tea, which was the«puffect» refreshment we needed for the heat! The girl was super sweet and patient as we asked questions and figured out what ingredients we wanted in our tea beverages. I wasn’t too sure how much sweetener I wanted(which they make in-home, by the way) so the gal said she was willing to adjust after taking a couple sips of my tea. Overall, the experience was pleasant and a nice relaxing time to get away from the heat! The hubs and I will for sure be coming back to this small joint in the near future!

Located between Waba Grill and an Auto store, Puffect Bakery is a great place to fulfill your cravings for sweets. I came here to purchase their cute Disney character macaroons for a graduation gift & almost smuggled them to keep for myself! They also offer a variety of things such as hong kong waffles(very hard to find elsewhere btw), sandwiches, drinks, cupcakes and cakes! **I just drooled a little**

Came here to buy some macaroons for a gift. The macaroons were tasty. But certain flavored were more likely to crack(more dry?). Staff were friendly. They were even nice enough to to put a bow on it for me. They have the best macaroons in this area.

Tucked away in a corner of the street behind a giant Starbucks is this little quaint, local bakery that happens to serve food, desserts, and teas. If you’re in need of some place quiet and peaceful with decent food, drinks, and/or drinks then I’d recommend this. 3.5 FOODQUALITY: Chicken Pesto Panini was … barely a panini. While it’s missing the obvious pressed sandwich quality with zero grill marks and only slight browning, it’s toasted very nicely to give you a very nice crisp, flake, then soft chew textural consistency on the bread. The chicken is in pieces for your chewing convenience, and for the most part it’s cooked nicely for a breast such that it wasn’t entirely dry. The sandwich mainly relies on the pesto and sun dried tomato to deliver the majority flavor, and it does just that with a strong dose of olive oil and basil flavors that incorporate mild cheesiness and a very subtle nuttiness. The only negative about this sandwich is that the sundried tomatoes they use here are blocky and hard, and doesn’t spread evenly throughout the sandwich such that you get only a small burst of that deep tomato flavor whose bright notes lighten the sandwich density. The macarons here are a little interesting; the exterior has a very soft crisp that seems as if you were going to bite into a dense, cakey center but it was actually airy and light for both the shell and filling. The only drawback I found is that the exterior of the shell was crisp enough so it became a little chewy with small bits being able to get stuck in between your teeth. Teas are pre-brewed and sit in a giant thermos dispenser, then they’ll shake and make your drinks fresh once ordered. Tehy brew the tea lightly here, so it only brings light floral flavors that’s on the verge of almost tasting watered down. ENVIRONMENT: Small, comfortable, quiet, and clean. Though personally I’m not sure how I feel about the theme here as. well it’s not for everyone; just take a look at the pictures. Overall, this place offers decent food and drinks that are perfect for small gatherings or to catch up. Easy to park, easy to find a table, and easy to eat/drink items.

Came here for the character macarons and ended up getting a Mike Wazowski one even though it was pricey. The macaron was so cold and pretty hard, so just assuming it wasn’t fresh. It did have the green tea flavor that was promised though. Probably won’t be coming back.

Lady whose name I won’t mention — bought me a box of macarons and four characters from here since I really love macarons and cute food themes! I definitely appreciated the work she did to give them to me! Heart! Unfortunately for Puffect though, I’ve been to a lot of macarons places and places that make cute macarons and I must say this bakery falls a bit short. [-1] Luckily I did get them for free, but after looking at the prices it seems as if they’re $ 2 – 3 each. There’s no justifying that price for their macarons unfortunately. She gave them to me the same day she brought them(so they were freshly made) and the flavors were too light/similar but I could tell what some of them were. In addition, the shells were all hollow, and some of them were inconsistent. Some were soft and some were hard. [-2] They also don’t keep very well. Other macarons like Bottega /Lette /Laduree, the macarons can stay for a week and you can enjoy one or two a day. Puffect macarons were extremely rock hard the next day. I was a bit confused and sad… They’ve been open since 2014 so I figure their recipe should be great by now. If they improved their macaron tastes I think their macarons would be more successful. [+1] Their designs are cute enough, but it definitely needs the support of the macaron texture!

The name says it all this place is that or if better! Came in on a weekday to go and get some of these really cute macaroons. A pack of six characters 18.00 bucks but they are totally worth it! I don’t know what it is maybe I’m still just a kid at heart but it makes me smile a lot to be able to buy stuff like this as gifts for people. It makes them happy and it makes me happy! So it’s a win win situation. This place has seating and they do sell a variety of things from drinks, ice cream to really cute adorable desserts. Love the interior and it’s just really nice! The girl at the register was really nice and super patient, I’m a little tad bit of a super indecisive person so I did take a little long for me to pick which characters I wanted. Overall super satisfied and glad that I was able to stop by.

Recently went to check out Puffect Bakery & Café last weekend. From looking at the outside of the shop, I would have never guessed it looks the way it does inside. Modern layout with a few tables on the right of the shop with small chandeliers hanging above. This should teach me not to judge a book by its cover ;) I bought 2 character and 2 regular macrons as gifts so I didn’t get a chance to try them myself. I don’t know if I could have even gotten myself to eat one. they’re too cute! Ask a staff member which characters they have for the day(it varies. they have a piece of paper with them written out) before you set your heart on one they didn’t make! The oolong tea with bits of strawberry and lychee was VERY refreshing. The tea was moderately strong and not too sweet. John, who assisted us was friendly and inviting. Puffect also services sandwiches, cupcakes, smoothies(i’ll be back for the kale kicker), etc. Stamp card available for purchases over $ 10! Easy parking in the shared plaza.

Thanks to JustKiddingFilms, Bart and Joe — YouTubers took a macaron baking class here — otherwise, I would have never known of this place and since I was in the neighborhood… just had to stop by :) I got myself 8 regular macarons $ 2.00 each and two character ones along with an Iced Jasmine Green Tea with lemon flavoring in it. The following flavors from least to favorite 1. Lavender — this one stood our the most and didn’t taste like soap and stayed intact through each bite. 2. Salted Caramel — creamy and salty 3. Horchata — Hello Kitty Flavor — tastes like the drink itself 4. Oreo — the Penguin shaped — tasted more of the cookies than the creamy white middle 5. Nutella –chocolaty and creamy 6. Samoa — tasted like I bought from the Girl Scout themselves 7. Pink Velvet — creamy and light 8. Cookie Butter — rich and creamy 9. Strawberry cheesecake — tasted like I ate from Cheesecake Factory 10. Thai Tea — this was the woese. Dried and broken on impact — tasted like air — nothing! The lavender stood out the most to me. I would have to say that majority of the shells were over baked and some broke on impact while others broke after two bites and some stayed intact. I like the Hello Kitty and Penguin macaron designs. Though I would recommend they put a separate tray to the side to showcase what characters they had at the moment as well as what flavors they were. The girl who helped me had trouble remembering the flavors to each design. As for the Iced Jasmine Green tea with lemon flavor — it hit the spot wonderfully. Brewed well and tasty — just wish they had a bigger size than grande. Overall, some macarons were disappointing and some were not. I would still comeback for other items to try. You also get a stamp card to spend over $ 10 and once you fill it up, you get 6 macarons for free. Just wish they had a Unilocal check in freebie, lol!
