Horrible service ! server have no patient they show you angry face everytime , the older lady make fun of my classmates English, but her english isn’t perfect neither. She needs to get some more education before she came to work. This place is the worst that I’ve never been,

Went in here in a Friday night and the young lady working the cash register and guy in the back hooked our food up!!! Lately I’ve been noticing other locations being shystie with the food and not hooking it up like they use to years ago but this night was different. We got a side of beef with our large and regular beef because we usually have to but when we got home there was no need. These kids really hooked it up! Gave us lots of ginger and peppers too! Love that

We don’t have too many Yoshinoya locations in San Diego — in fact, I believe we have one, possibly two in all of San Diego County — but I had received a coupon for two of their Orange Chicken bowls for $ 6 a few days back. And seeing how I was heading up to see my girlfriend up in Diamond Bar this past weekend, we decided it was a good time to go to her closest location for lunch. Yoshinoya’s version of Orange Chicken isn’t too bad at all; it’s not as battered as Panda Express’ entrée normally is, and in fact the chicken is a bit crispier. The steamed veggies served on top of the bowl were cooked just right, and the optional shredded ginger adds enough kick to the dish. The location is a bit small, but at least it’s clean, and the employees are friendly enough. With its proximity to nearby Mt. San Antonio College(Mt. SAC to the locals), I can see why it’s popular(and why parking’s at a premium). I can see us coming back for more of the deals — that beef bowl is calling my name!

I been a long time fan of Yoshinoya. I don’t think there was a time I was disappointed by either the beef or chicken bowl, or the combo bowl when I was particularly hungry. My favorite has always been the chicken teriyaki, and I love how they make the chicken skin crispy. If there’s one thing I wish they could improve on, it’s the freshness. I’m pretty sure everything is frozen, and I wonder if fresher ingredients could make the food even better.

gave it only four stars because sometimes they only give less beef and lots of rice. but still, very good! and they give us 10% off every time we go because we always go there whenever we get yoshinoya.

Better with the extra teriyaki and sriracha but still very tasty. I still like flame broiler more though. But all in all solid tasty chicken rice and vegetables. Ask for the chicken skinless trust me. Very nice employee gave me an extra sauce with charging me which was very nice. Check for coupons to make it a super deal like bogo and 2 for $ 8

As a Mt SAC student, this place is fantastic. With fast service and delicious, healthy food, this is my favorite place to eat at school. They even offer a 10% VIP discount for Mt SAC students, which makes it one of the cheaper options as well. The employees are unfailingly welcoming and generous, and consistently have been over the last 2 years. I’ll miss it when I transfer.

I’ve been here a couple times when I get tired of campus food and it’s great food and even better prices! Being a broke college student this place is a gem! The chicken bowl with veggies is a must try and the steak bowl is fantastic as well! I’ll definitely be retuning to try other great options!

I love how fast they prepare your food at this establishment. You’ll have your food within 5 minutes of ordering it, if not sooner. I come here regularly to get my veggie beef fix. They don’t overcook their beef like most other yoshinoyas.

I can’t believe the I write review I write for Yoshinoya, and even harder to believe how can a Yoshinoya can be that wrong for me to give 1 star?(I would like to give 0 if I can) If this Yoshinoya is not close by I live, I will never be there again after my 1st meal, that’s right! this is not the first time I dinning here, they are dam consistent! all meats from this store are supper dry, doesn’t matter beef or chicken, totally different from what I had at other Yoshinoya, today I saw they have a new Angus beef bowl, I regret I gave my last try, that even worst !!! OMG!!!

Quick friendly service from one of my absolute favorite fast food chains =) I’ve never been here when it was too packed(not sure if that’s such a great thing =p) but that makes me happy, because that means I get my yoshinoya with the quickness baby! Usually go for the large beef, but I’ve been known to get the regular when I HAVE to ;) Parking is never an issue either. Keep an eye out in the mail for BOGO coupons!!!

This is a great place to stop by for lunch if you have a busy class schedule. The service is quick, the food is cheap and good. The restaurant, including the restrooms, is always clean. I’ve tried the beef bowl but thought the meat was too salty for my taste, I enjoy the teriyaki chicken and veggie meal better. I ask for the teriyaki sauce on the side in an attempt to lower the caloric intake. The only thing I don’t like about the way the chicken is served is that the skin/fat is left on instead of removed like at most places. Other than that the chicken is moist and cooked well. The veggies and rice are also good. The pickled ginger available is interesting tasting to me, I prefer simple sriracha sauce.

I’m a sucker for a Yoshinoya beef bowl. Always have been, always will be. It’s one of those I-know-it’s-not-good-for-me-but-so-what comfort foods that defies any rational explanation. I don’t want to think too hard about whether or not that’s actual beef or a beef substitute sitting on top of the rice. I don’t want to worry about how long the pickled ginger has been out on the counter. And I definitely don’t want to think about the sodium level of the red pepper seasoning or anything else, for that matter. Just give me my beef bowl and I’m a happy man.

As far as fast food goes, this is more than okay. Yeah, I know, it’s Yoshinoya, but sometimes when you’re in the area and you don’t feel like spending a bajillion dollars on a cold, soggy burger meal… Yoshinoya is your go-to rice bowl. Yeah, I also know there’s WaBa down the street and Flame Broiler somewhere near-ish too, but sometimes you just want this junky, fatty goodness in your belly! I haven’t had any issues with this location, it’s really clean and the staff is abnormally nice, which is a plus. I normally get a large beef bowl or a kid’s meal. Let me tell you, the kid’s meal is a good bargain! You get an apple juice or orange juice(the big bottle kind) and a cookie with a more-than-enough kid’s bowl of beef/chicken and rice! Although I haven’t really had any problems with this place, I’ve noticed that depending on who’s working and what time it is, you could get more food for your buck. They don’t measure precisely for every bowl, so it’s only your luck if you get more. :) Also, if you dislike onions, the staff tries their best not to give you onions. You can also request the beef on the side if you fear for soggy rice and you can request for extra sauce too. 4 stars for friendly staff, cleanliness, and food that fills you up!(Unfortunately, their $ 5 any large bowl is gone, but it’s still cheaper than Jack in the Box.) Is it weird that I sort of miss their veggietable muck from years ago? Happy eatings!

Really? A review for Yoshinoya? What next for me? A review for McDonald’s? I’ve been coming to this Yoshinoya since this location first opened. I got to know one of the cashiers when they first opened. They always treated me nice. If I didn’t have a coupon, they gave me one. They always gave me some kind of special, even if they did not have a coupon. Fast forward a couple of years to tonight. The cashier is one of the managers here now. They have no time for me anymore to give a couponless special. Since they have no time for me anymore, I haven’t been around as much. I showed up tonight, I didn’t recognize any of the employees in this Yoshinoya. Worst of all, they don’t recognize me! I told the girl I had no coupon. She told me that she couldn’t help me. She wanted to play the violin. I told her I was a VIP. She told me that my VIP card had expired. I told her the card didn’t have an expiration date. But she did say that she would honor it one last time. So much for being a VIP. I guess I have to be like normal people now and pay full price. I got my food to go. I ordered a beef bowl for myself. My wife ordered the combo bowl. It normally is hard to mess up a beef bowl. They messed it up. They gave me extra beef sauce/stock. I had a layer of beef stock at the bottom my styrofoam bowl. My wife complained that the combo bowl looked smaller. Tonight was the first time ever they messed up my order. Overall, they do a pretty good job. I guess tonight was not one of their good nights. I’ll be back one of these day.

This is my guilty pleasure. I like to eat this at home, alone where no one else can see me consuming this mystery meat. I love it! I don’t know why. I always have. My taste buds have grown and changed so much over the years and yet there are a few hanging in there who crave Yoshinoya. The best way to eat this is to take it home and mix up some of my own special sauce. I take some soy sauce, that bright colored ginger and some sweet chili sauce from the fridge. I stir is all together and pour that over the beef and veggies then I sit back and construct my «perfect bites» which include a lil rice, some beef and onions, cabbage and some veg… I don’t know why I like it so much but I do!!! Also this is one of my favorite locations. Whenever I drop by my parents me and my Sis head over here for a beef bowl. They are always friendly and fast. It’s right across the street from Mt. Sac which keeps them busy enough that my veggies are still crisp. The only complaint I have is sometimes the«chicken» tastes a little mealy, like an apple but I usually stick with a beef and veggie bowl. I know what you all are going to say, please don’t lose faith in my taste buds. Damn you Yoshinoya!!! I can’t quit you!

I usually love Yoshinoya and would give them 4 stars no problem. But the service of this place has to be worst our of all the Yoshinoya’s i’ve been to. One of the ladies working there has a snotty attitude and doesn’t seem very welcoming even though she is the one working the register. But the part that really pissed me off is when she gave my food to someone else cause she thought i left. I was sitting behind the barricade in front of the register. You know theres a number on the receipt for a reason right? CALLIT! I didn’t notice that she gave my order to someone else until the person came back to the counter and said she gave him something he didn’t order. And then she proceeded to give it to me with out asking if I would like to exchange it for a new one. Maybe thats why you have her working at night when its not busy. I probablly wouldn’t come back to this one. I would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to the one on Fullerton even though i go to school right across the street. And the one on Fullerton is open 24 hours with better service.
