Drove by this place several dozen times after finally deciding to drop in for lunch. I walked in and went to counter, figuring, since I was the only one in line, that I would be serviced relatively quickly. The employee behind the counter was engaged in conversation with a non-customer, non-employee and I had to wait several minutes which was entirely frustrating. I was finally«greeted»(if you can call it that) and ordered two slices. As they were apparently out of slices, I had to wait about 15 minutes which seemed like eternity. The crust was very bread like and not very flavorful. If I’m desperate, I may come back but likely this was«one and done» for me.

I ordered online and i got the burger and onion rings. The onion rings were mostly good except for a few weird ones which had multiple onion rings all stuffed into one, these ones were quite undercooked and mushy inside. The burger was raw inside, and my bun had a funny taste to it. I’ve ordered the same before, but it was never this bad.

I generally think this place is great and I love the mixed greens pizza; however there is a noticeable decline in the quality of pizza at this walpole location depending who is working. Lately, whenever there is what seems to be the high school or so aged girls working, the pizza order is not great. About 3 times in a row the crust was barely cooked all the way through and still doughy in some spots(mind you we also specifically asked for«extra crispy» crust). About 2 times we paid for extra chicken, yet I literally counted 8 – 10 small pieces of chicken on the whole pizza(less than when we didn’t pay for extra). This last time was the last straw… We ordered a multigrain crust pizza, which only has one size, and we have ordered it every time before. This time however, I received what appeared to be a child size pizza… for the same price. I normally love this place, but the owners need to do some SERIOUS employee training to ensure consistent quality. If the quality was actually consistent, I would give 4 or 5 stars.

I am currently sitting at Piezoni’s in Walpole. I haven’t even received my food yet and I have already decided I’m never coming back. When I first arrived, I stood at the counter for a few minutes before anyone even acknowledged that I was there. When I placed my order, the employee was miserable and very unfriendly. I ordered two sandwiches. While I was waiting for my food, an employee dropped something and yelled, «What the F*ck!» Lovely. It has taken over 25 minutes. For 2 sandwiches! No thanks.

A couple of weeks ago we tried ordering the Sicilian pizza for dinner. I grew up in North Jersey and have had this pizza on the regular, so you can imagine my surprise when they told me they needed a least a few hours notice just to make it and it was too late in the evening(like 6−7PM) to make it tonight. Weird! …okay. We are open to trying new things so we accepted that explanation and yesterday I called around noon for a Sicilian pie(half pepperoni– half sausage & green pepper) to be made for a 6PM pick up. They asked me how I would like it sliced(another weird question, in my opinion): I think it was 24 or 32 slices I could choose from. Then, around 5PM I got a call from the pizzeria asking me to confirm the number of slices I wanted. Again, Weird. I’m thinkin’ this pizza is clearly a big deal. I mean, it seems like serious business because they need a few hours notice to make it and they’re calling me to confirm the slices. Right? And, they told me it would cost about $ 32.00! Kind of expensive, if you ask me. I just cross referenced my favorite NJ pizzeria’s menu and they price their awesome Sicilian pie at $ 16.50(plus $ 2 for additional toppings). My husband and I discussed this on the way to pick it up. I walked into Piezoni’s and the gentleman behind the counter was just slicing it up. I swear, it was like he was performing a ceremony when he looked toward me and he asked the girl at the register, «Is that her?» I talked for a minute about my history with this kind of pizza and where I’m from(which I think explains a lot, but maybe they don’t know about Jersey pizza). I purchased, they handed me the large box and called after me, «Enjoy it!» We drove home smelling the good smells. We enjoyed our Sicilian dinner– the sausage and green pepper were nicely topped and the pizza wasn’t greasy or sloppy. The crust was good, but different than the thick, gnawing type of crust I’m used to. Great sauce. Honestly, it’s still not better than Tony’s Pizza in Pompton Lakes, NJ(and it’s some tough competition), but we would get it again if we had a few other people along to share the meal(lots of leftovers). Delicious Good job, guys.

The food itself tastes okay, and for the price it is right about average. But every time we order delivery, the delivery driver ALWAYS forgets to bring the 2 litter of soda. And I mean EVERYTIME, no exaggeration. The delivery driver always forgets the drinks. At least the driver offers to go to the local store, pick up the drinks(since we’ve already paid for it), and bring it back to us. But that’s beyond what the actual problem is. Wouldn’t the store match the receipt against what’s being delivered prior to sending the food out with the driver??? It doesn’t seem like a daunting task to me. Doesn’t sound like a very responsible store…

So we placed a large order in December around 8pm(they are supposed to deliver until 10) and they never showed up. We called and it went to their machine. Manager called the next day without an apology, just that it was snowing so the drivers couldn’t go anywhere. Puzzling since I drove to pickup food and the roads were perfectly clear. Now I go to place an order online at 830, again they say they are open until 10, and they are closed again. Pizza is decent but this specific location has horrendous customer service. Won’t be surprised when they are closed for good…

We ordered a chicken Alfredo calzone and a large fries. The fries were very good but the order was very small for a large. The calzone was ok, I would give it a b-. It was pretty bland and a bit under cooked. Overall just ok.

Oh Piezoni’s. I really, really love you. You really affect me in a pizza craving every week when I make the fast, dark trip up Route 1 to do my weekly shopping at Walmart across the highway, from this place. Since I normally go Friday nights to the store, I make a trip here following(which is always a pain, since I have to go all the way around, since there is no access from Route 1 Northbound(which is my only complaint what-so-ever about this place). Otherwise, I love everything about this place. They have the best burgers, pizza, pastas, chicken tenders, onion rings, as well as lots and lots of different pizzas and calzones. I have had oven 15 of their meals now(each week brings a new adventure at Piezoni’s!), and have enjoyed each one of the them. Additionally the staff are always friendly, parking is always available, and the interior of the restaurant is quite modern, friendly, and open, with many seats. Overall, the best pizza /burger place along this stretch of Route 1 Southbound, serving the Walpole area. 5 stars.

Fantastic food, usually get it for lunch down the road from my job about 3 – 4 times a week. All the food is fresh and great quality. Always consistent. I highly recommend PieZonis to everyone, and always recommend it to customers at my job.

I ordered food for the first time to try this place out… I watched the employee’s making food with no gloves on, making salad and pizza with NOFRIGGENGLOVES!!! not only did the girl not have any gloves on, she was directly handling people’s food with bare hands(touching the lettuce for salad) after handling money, then putting her hair up followed by sneezing INTOHERHAND, she did not wash her hands and NEVERONCEPUTGLOVESONATALL!!! There was someone else complaining about finding a hair in their food in front of me in line!!! I canceled my order and walked right out the door this place is ABSOLUTELYDISGUSTING and I am calling the board of health!!!

Brilliant food, nice and attentive staff. Got a large smokey joe pizza and it was hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. Will definitely be making this my regular pizza joint!

We got a chicken parmesan sub and a buffalo chicken wrap. Simple stuff. The wrap had only the chicken, no lettuce or blue cheese. The chicken tasted smoky, like old burnt food. There are plenty of other pizza and sub places around. Won’t bother returning.

I have not eaten in the restaurant but the takeout pizza was absolutely horrible. it was totally dried up and the crust was so hard it was inedible. Very disappointing as I was going to try this place with my family but now will definitely not.

I know it’s a chain, but the salads here are sooooo good! They chop chop chop every little ingredient to make a perfectly blended mix of greens, chicken and feta. The dressing is to die! I ventured off my new ‘lifestyle’ tonight and split a small meatball calzone and I wish I didn’t. :(now my new ‘lifestyle’ could be compromised. Walpole so needed this place. The pickings are slim around here.(If you’re picky) I give them only 4 stars tho. I’m a customer service freak and they always seem so frazzled whether it’s busy or not. AAAAND because they close so early during the week
