My favorite place in Walpole! Great food, great selection and a great atmosphere. I love the beer and bacon chili, and I have yet to be disappointed ordering one of their salmon dishes(though the tacos stand out as my favorite, so far). Bring back the turkey tips and curry fries, please! I only knock it a star because it is a bit on the expensive side.

This establishment is great. Everyone takes pride in what they do here. The food is spectacular and the beers are always cold. Keep up the great work guys!

Well. The food itself is good. However. I don’t understand how they get away with charging $ 12 for chicken tenders… 4 of them !! I had a house salad that was more than full of onions. I can’t say I’m a huge fan.

We arrived for an early dinner with our two toddlers. We sat on the patio which was perfect. Great service from our very knowledgable waitress. They have a great selection of drafts. We will keep coming back for sure.

Nice people, but others looked upon me as a Martian. Of course, i was the only non– white in the place. Still had fun… all by myself. Definitely, come back. #gozatelocaralloboricuapower

We went here for Mothers Day. As expected we had to wait, they don’t do reservations, but not too long. The place is tiny and quaint. My husband got their special of the day, lamb chops for $ 23 but was charged $ 28. I got the steak tips which were decent. Asparagus were cooked perfect. Portion sizes were just enough, not too big like most places now. My toddler got their chicken tenders which you could tell weren’t frozen and just warmed up. Mistakenly they brought out two orders of tenders when we ordered one tenders and one kids steak tip, they quickly corrected it. I’d definitely go back but maybe later without the kids for a different experience.

Visit here about once a month(since moving here 18 months ago), and have yet to be disappointed. In a town overflowing w Irish bars, this place is a favorite. Been here for lunch(decidedly less crowded, of course) as well as dinner at different times and days. All in all, its a fun place to come to have a drink or two. I like the stick-to-your-ribs Shepard’s Pie– albeit somewhat bland(isn’t it supposed to be?!) but its great to give you that warm belly home-cooked type feeling. Beer on tap rotates, which keeps it interesting. Would be good if there was more space when waiting for a table when its busy on the weekend evenings. We will continue to come back.

My wife and I just had a nice lunch at Raven’s Nest. We arrived at 11:35am and had a seat at the bar. We ordered a Guinness and a Skinny Margarita for drinks and calamari appetizer to split and both ordered fish & chips with sweet potato fries. The meal includes a home made cole slaw. The barmaid was friendly and efficient, definitely service with a smile. The drinks were great, a full pint glass and a good pour on the mixed drink. The calamari was spicy hot, as advertised, and very tasty although you noticed that is was quite salty about halfway through the experience. The fish and sweet potato fries and cole slaw were good. She definitely got a piece of cod, mine could have been sole as was thin and fine grained. I was expecting cod as the menu stated cod. We ordered another round of drinks. The bar was now filled, there was good music playing, the décor and atmosphere were very pleasant. While I fully enjoyed our lunch, I am holding off a bit on account of the price: $ 90 for what I described including tip. I would have happily paid $ 60-$ 70, but $ 90 felt a bit much for our selection.

Really attractive inside. Like the high seat tables and chairs. Very comfortable. Friendly service and great drinks. Food was good, but not great for dinner. Good place for drinks and maybe an app.

Been going to Ravens for many years now. The food is excellent. Joe is a great chef and the variety is expansive. Prices and portions also excellent. The service is hit or miss. Bartenders are great, waitresses friendly but sometimes slow. Nonetheless I’ll keep coming back here :) I recommend the Reuben, Snowbird, Salmon, Nevermore Nachos, and the epic Mac n Cheese.

This was an interesting experience. It wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t our favorite. My boyfriend and I went here on a Sunday at noon and there were only a few people besides us. The first«issue» we really had for the place was there menu was very unique. They had some really great sounding dishes but I really didn’t want the«Apple Goat Cheese Salmon» or the«Perched Filet Mignon» at noon for a Sunday lunch. Again, they sound delicious but we were really looking forward to a sandwich and soup type of place and while they did have some burger, only one appealed to my boyfriend and none really for me. What was really strange was how some of the things that I was interested in getting were on the lunch specials that, of course, were only available Monday through Saturday. I have always thought that to be a silly rule restaurants use. I don’t mind paying a little extra if I can get something I want. We ended up ordering and splitting a bacon and caramelized onion pizza and fish and chips. The pizza, for our particular tastes, had way too much sauce. It was kind of overwhelming and we ended up pushing it aside. Perhaps will less sauce as the sauce was good but I felt as though I was drinking sauce. The fish and chips were much better and we devoured them. It tasted extremely fresh and was a nice sized piece of fish! The slaw that cane with it was delicious and the fries crispy. That being said we would definitely recommend the fish and chips! The waitress was really sweet and friendly though I have to comment that there were only 7 tables total and at least two waitresses and it took us twenty minute to get our check. A little bothersome but not a huge issue. Overall, I think this would be a much better place to go for dinner than lunch and perhaps we may try that in the near future. It is also not the best place for picky eaters as is actually states on the menu to «Please refrain from alterations.» That seems quite odd a restaurant to display as everyone has a picky side and if they don’t like something typically restaurants accommodate.

Best cole slaw ever. I know most people don’t get too excited about slaw but theirs with basil and cranberries was amazing. Not much mayo is key. Got this as a side with a quite good cheeseburger for $ 11 I think, a tad too salty. The bartender could have been a little quicker but he was busy. Managed to grab the last bar seat early on a Sat. Evening talked to some nice locals and would def go back although Walpole isn’t in my usual rotation.

Great food, specials, and drink selections. A true Irish bar with a nice atmosphere. Always bring out of town guests here and they rave and fall in love.

Love the nachos – probably most of the reason that we keep coming back here. They are loaded and really good. The beer selection is solid – they have had Switchback on draft which is great. The rest of the entrees are good. Nothing stands out as amazing but everything is good. I wish they had more salad options that were not loaded with meat. It gets busy at night.

My husband and I came to dinner here for the 3rd of July not realizing that the Walpole fireworks were that night!(didn’t realize that they could be seen from the center). We were greeted when we came in, and very quickly were sat. Since it was busy, we were greeted by a gentleman David who told us he would not be our waiter but if he could start us off with drinks. Low and behold, he ended up being our waiter! I thought this was great because it was busy and they did what they needed to do to keep customers happy. He was very nice, was on top of allergies and follow up on how our food tasted. The food was GREAT(bacon and beef chili, steak tips and oysters with garlic sauce) and the drinks were wonderful as well! Definitely will go back here. Also, they have a small outdoor seating section. We didn’t sit there but would love to go back again!
