A really nice surprise — last minute decision to stop for night brought us to this hotel. At first, thought rate was a little high ($ 94) but then when we walked into the room: WOW! Clean, big, upgraded interior! Add a front desk person who was pleasant at 10:30pm on a Sunday night and a free breakfast, I Recommend it … Will stay here for every pass-​thru SC.

I was nervous about staying here but it was super clean. The front desk was really nice as well. If all the comfort suites are like this then it’s a nice stay.

Stayed at this hotel once while visiting a family member in the area. My first visit was pleasant, I won a bid on Priceline so the price was reasonable. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and I appreciate her politeness. Even though I booked my room online with a credit card she allowed me to pay with cash.
Fast forward two weeks later, I’m back in the area and decide to stay here because I had such a good experience the first time. I couldn’t get a deal on Priceline so I just decided to pay the regular rate… no big deal. I go in and hand the lady my drivers license and tell her I was a past guest and wanted to stay again. When she completes the reservation I tell her I have cash. She balls up her face and says I don’t want cash I want your credit card… excuse me??? Ma’am I live in another state all I have is cash and my credit union is not local to you for me to run and put cash on my card. I was pissed. I found another hotel I had stayed at before and checked in with no problems.
I will NEVER patronize this location again and have yet to hear back from the manager. I did however call and talk to a young lady who informed me that I could of paid with cash but the lady I encountered tends to give everyone a hard time like she owns the place.

This is a FILTHY hotel. Checked in here late evening March 2015. The worst mistake of my life! No housekeeping or manager in the hotel. The front desk woman was rude and didn’t seem bothered by the disgusting room she gave us for $ 150 a night! The hotel booklet was broken and scribbled on, the AC was full of dust and food was all over the carpet and table, the sink and tub were not washed. I think they just make the beds and the room is ready for new check ins??! It was a rainy night and after carrying all the luggage up to the room, our family was in shock… we checked out right away… but the worst was the unapologetic front desk attitude which after inspecting the room told us «It looks fine to me, you can check out if you don’t like it.»

If you are looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay that is right off of I-​95 then this is the place to go. Very reasonably priced and very friendly staff. Continental breakfast was just what we needed — nothing fancy but it filled us up. There is a Cracker Barrel right down the road, though, if you need more to eat. They offer AAA discounts so we got 10% off the cost of our room, too.

The price is extremely cheap $ 45 a room! The rooms are clean and they smell good. Everything here checks out. This was a great one night stop. Has great televisions and free breakfast.

The hotel is fine… pool area feels amazing… like you are in the tropics… and not here. We even made a little pool party with kids… pizza from nearby Dimitrios (see reviews) and some New Belgium beer.
The 2 comes from the fact that we held two rooms on my card for my friends arriving very late. They gave away the room!!! Probably because I scored an $ 83 rate with a lil negotiation. My friends were weary and ended up at a nearby Ramada. They could have been out. And this was done with no word to us that they’d give it away.

Exit 53 South Bound i 95 nice place to stay, quiet, friendly staff Staff will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Downside… eat before you stop Food choices are very limited near the motel

This place, especially for place that is definitely not metro, was definitely a breath of fresh air. Most ‘hotels’ here are old renamed ‘motels’ and the Comfort Inn & Suite was NOT. This was an indoor ‘hotel’ that had decent rooms, no smoking smells and was clean. I was comfortable and the staff was very courteous. The next morning they had a decent breakfast with fresh home made waffles, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy as well as the healthy choices. After driving back and from on I-​95 multiple times, stopping and trying to find an affordable place to sleep for 5 hours has been a challenge. Comfort Inn definitely beat everyone else, including Holiday Inn Express (which wanted $ 120), at $ 70.
