B & F House of Pizza

First time delivery tonight. Told me it would be a 45 minute wait and the driver delivered it exactly at 45 minutes. Pizza was warm (not hot) but understandably so since I live on the complete other side of Waltham. I ordered online. As a software developer I was cringing as I was ordering but finally got threw it. Hire a UX-​designer! :-) The pizza was good. Delivery was accurate. Delivery guy was very nice. Hard to argue with anything. I’ll give them another whirl! Even gave me a discount for being a first time customer. :-) The little things go a long way with me.

If you’re looking for quick un-​extravagant vittles, check out this mom and pop sub shop. The prices are reasonable and the food; it’s not that processed & weighed crap that you get at Subway. No, they don’t always have a big welcoming smile, would you if you had 25 orders to fill? The big deal to me is they offer tasty subs, good prices and I get it rather quickly. The place is small (three or four tables) so it’s basically a take-​out joint. They always accommodate me when I throw them a curve ball.

Just stopped in for a couple of pizza slices on my way back to work.
When I got back to work and opened the bag, all of about 5 minutes elapsed, I found two of the most disgusting, tepid, dried out pizza slices I’ve ever been served. They had to have been sitting in their warmer for an hour or more based on the condition.
Never again. I have no interest in giving my money to businesses that take zero pride in the quality of the product they server to their customers. B & F clearly does not care.

Ordered here plenty of Times and never a good experience. Ordered chips with a sub and they never come with it (I paid for them btw) deliveries are late. Management is rude. This is my last straw.

I really like this place. The interior ain’t much to look at, but the pizza is really good and the ingredients tasted fresh. I picked my order up so I have no idea how their delivery options are, but I’d go back again. The prices weren’t bad either. They do slices around lunch time as well.

I’ve lived a couple blocks from here pretty much my whole life. When I’m looking for a good pizza to order, this is my to-​go spot. Surprisingly I haven’t tried any other options this place has to offer, which I really should, but the pizzas are great. Perfect amount of toppings every time and you know how some pizzas just fall apart when you pick a slice up? Well not at B&Fs. This place is convenient for me and when the weather’s nice, I like the nice walk.

Such a great spot! For any craving, I’m sure you can find something. From pizza to chicken tenders. My favorite is their steak tips and rice! Check them out!

Good prices, good food, no complaints for an ideal sub shop down the street.

Great pizza and subs but I really didn’t like the pasta the sauce on the pasta lacked taste but I was a nice touch to add a big roll of bread. Will come again but not for the pasta.

I’ve ordered from here 3 times and every time the food was great. The French fries were amazing and steak&schemes sub was perfect as well! Im happy that I’ve found a new sub shop:)

Great subs and sandwiches. Amazing onion rings. If you are looking for pizza or wings probably would go someone where else. try every sub on the menu though they are all awesome

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a delivery place. B&F is def. the place. I have had their subs, salads and some apps. I have ordered their numerous times, they probably think we do not ever cook. Their italian subs are amazing!!! I have had their chicken salad over a greek salad which was mouth watering, also their tuna subs are really good too. If you are in search of a new place to eat, try B&F and you will not be disappointed.

This was one of our very few options for take-​out at the hotel we were staying. I hate to be too harsh since it was delivery and that doesn’t always fairly reflect the quality of food as if we were dining in.
Delivery time was fast, but taste was –okay-​. Nothing stood out to me.
Next time we’re in the area, I would be interested in dining in to experience the 4 – 5 star reviews!

This was a favorite of mine more than 20 years ago. I recently returned to Waltham and immediately returned. Much to my delight the food was as good as I remembered. Subs are well prepared. Toasted just right. And I am always greeted with a big smile when I arrive to pick up my order. Best of all. They have the best fries in all of Waltham.

This is an old school place in the heart of north waltham. The grinders have shredded lettuce and the toasted grinders are wonderful. They have a huge selection on the menu and have been renovated since I came here as a kid years ago. Tiny parking lot can be tricky but not impossible.

Okay, so I just spent the better part of my morning researching which place to try for lunch. I am new to the area and have to go through the process of figuring out which place makes good what. I settled on B&F because I love a good Greek pizza place, reminds me of home in Central Ma. I tried to order online and it didn’t work for whatever reason, so I ordered over the phone. I ordered a slice of cheese, a small tuna grinder (cold) with lettuce, tomato, onion, hots, provolone cheese, a garden salad with greek dressing, and buffalo tenders. Well, I was told it would be 45 minute wait, so I waited. Then I got a call about 50 minutes later saying the driver couldn’t find my house from his GPS. I live on Main Street. Not a side street. The Main one. So, I reiterated my address and open the front door to wait. I get a missed random call and called it back and it was the driver, who was lost. I said my address again and he finally made it. A total of 1 hour and 20 minutes later. Needless to say, I was starving… The pizza was cold, and stiff. I ate it anyway. It might have been good if it was warm. The tenders were cold, again might have been good if they weren’t cold and soggy. The grinder was toasted but since turned cold. I ordered it not toasted, I hate toasted bread. It was partially soggy from the tuna seeping through. It also might have been awesome if it wasn’t so soggy and toasted.
I will probably give them another try, but for now. Not so happy.

I just ordered 4 large pizzas and a salad online for a never ending work meeting. We had 7 men and 2 ladies and it was almost perfect for amount of food. I met the delivery guy at the door exactly to the minute when they said they would arrive. Pizzas and chicken were hot. All food was well presented.
I just wish they brought plates for big orders at a business, such a niceity that could go a long way.
Everything tasted fresh, cheese topping and sauce get a great review. The crust was a bit dense, ordinary tasting and heavy for my liking.
Great service and pretty good food, I would order again.

A solid pizza /​sub place. Good prices. Tasty food efficiently prepared as requested and swiftly. I’m a cheesesteak guy and it’s always delicious and of ample size. Takes cc with an $ 8 min to avoid surcharge.

Disappointed with the attitudes of the staff behind the counter. We have ordered a tremendous amount of food from them and have supported their business for years and it seems as if they just aren’t hospitable or friendly. It gets old. Subs are great. But recently we ordered 15 subs and placed the order far in advance. When we arrived the woman behind the counter was rude and sour. You would think for such a big order they would appreciate the business. Instead she was snippy yelling «Next customer» and telling us to step aside. When we asked for chips with the sandwich she rolled her eyes as if we were asking far too much. I think the food is great but someone needs to train the staff to be nicer.

I love, love, love their tuna sub, its become one of things I crave!
However, one thing happened that bugged me a lot and I might have a hard time continuing to go there. One day I brought my dog with me, he waited outside while I ordered of course, but I asked if I could bring out a chair (just a plain out plastic chair that wasnt even used with a table) to eat outside and they wouldnt let me. I ended up eating at the park down the block.
I just dont know what the big deal was, it really bugged me and the guy wasnt terribly nice about it.
