While this isn’t the most convenient Starbucks to get in and out of, the service more than makes up for it. The most telling sign is what they do with your iced coffee order… will they put it in queue with 7 espresso beverages, or fill it ahead of them. This morning they were slammed. We’re talking, 5 – 10 people waiting for coffee. And the guys were cranking. They put my iced coffee in queue, but filled the order within 30 seconds. Well done. The baristas here are always nice and full of energy and I always enjoy patronizing this location.

TERRIBLESERVICE. four times in a row, my drink was absolutely wrong/messed up/bad measuring. I really love coming to Starbucks on the way to school. I’m not spending a cent at this location until they get better workers. I kept telling myself over and over again to give them another chance, but I’m so over it and annoyed spending good money on terrible drinks. And when I asked the guy to remake it, he gave me attitude about it. Very disappointed. I want to give this place zero stars.

Don’t be that guy who takes a left across two lanes of oncoming traffic to enter or leave this store. If you’re heading into Waltham maybe settle for Dunkin Donuts since they’re easier to get to.

The pros include the wireless charging tables and clean bathrooms. The cons are that it isn’t very spacious and not a lot of seating. The service is standard and it’s a bit breezy/cold by a lot of the tables by the door in winter. Not sure they can do much about that, but it definitely wasn’t very comfortable inside with the cold coming in every time someone entered or left.

This is a great Starbucks location. Very well run and very quick. Very one seems to smile and they work as a team. Ashley and Isaah particularly stand out. Managers do a great job, always prepared and food and drink right on.

I asked for a drink that had soy milk. I’m lactose intolerant. I got my drink and upon trying it I could tell there was regular milk in it. I went back and asked them to fix it because I needed soy milk and paid for soy. They wouldn’t fix it. I was soo pissed. Five dollar drink down the drain because I was allergic to it. It was the person working there, not necessarily the starbucks itself, but really… just make a new drink and admit you f*cked up. my cup even said soy milk ON it.

This new location is one of my least favorite Starbucks which I frequent. Went in today to get a Grande Cold Brew at 7:45AM. Was told that they’re out of it already. Got a Grande black iced tea, unsweetened instead. The barrista poured between 4 – 6 oz of concentrated tea then added to a shaker w/heaping ice to fill up the Grande cup. Small amount of water was added to the shaker and it was shaken up. The color was lighter than a regular SB black iced tea. First taste– watered down, faint iced tea tasted. Other times, wrong order on first try or they’ve added sweetener to a beverage ordered unsweetend. I’m not a fan of the product at this SB. Service is acceptable but I think they know that they’re putting out less quality product than their SB counterparts in the area. I did drink the iced tea, after I got to the office and brewed another cup of strong black tea to add to my weak brew.

Like other Starbucks, it’s overpriced and not that good. And I hate that they ask your name. Paid over $ 5 for some kind of coffee shake that was low on taste and sweetness, and rough in texture. i don’ t need it.

This is a new location and the only one in Waltham. The other closest location is in Belmont. Place is always busy so service can be a little slow at times. The décor is amazing and the coffee is great as usual

I created a Unilocal account specifically to say what a wonderful Starbucks location this is! The employees are genuinely concerned with customer satisfaction, and, even though they were out of a number of ingredients today, were able to make suggestions for modifications that customers seemed quite happy with. The location itself is clean and comfortable. Definitely making this my new go-to for coffee!

Alright, I’ve been making excuses for too long. It’s time to just come out and say it. The magnetic strip on my debit card is weak! The pain, the shame, the embarassment: which was brought out tenfold by the cashier here claiming my card was declined when she actually keyed it in wrong.(and admitted she might have!) Is it really so hard to take a piece of register tape and run it through with the magnet? This of course leads to a 20 minute wait on the phone with my bank just for them to tell me that everything was fine. I don’t care how long the line is, if you aren’t going to take care of the customer in front of you, you have failed customer service 101, and screwed up the rest of my day. This ‘ish don’t happen at Dunkin’ Donuts. Even if this didn’t happen, not all Starbucks are created equal, and I was edging towards a 2 star review anyway. The cold brew I’ve had here is consistently murky as compared to the other Waltham store, and it always seems like the people behind the counter have no clue. I come here because its closer to work, but I don’t see the point to continue if they’re just phoning it in.

Happy a Starbucks is finally here. Inside is beautiful. Great place to work and have coffee and a snack. Only thing I notice is the service can be slow. They need 3 people working at once

I have been a few more times since my initial review and the service and efficiency at this location have improved dramatically. The parking lot is still a bit of a nightmare!

Place is newer so it doesn’t get that busy except during lunch. I was able to get in and order my drink just before the rush came. My drink was started and left in the blender as they attended to the other customers. Waited ten minutes as everyone else after me got their drinks before they remembered mine. Probably won’t be going back to this location.

Having been open since early Oct you would think they have it sort of figured out by now, but alas they do not, go in pretty much anytime and you wait sometimes its 5 mins sometimes up to 20. The manager(well i think she is) berates employees for not moving fast enough all while not really doing much of anything her self to speed up the process. i watched her tell a barista he needs to work faster as there is a line while she filled the cup holders and not offering him any help, he was moving at a very quick pace I only go to this one because it is so close to my house and i would advise people to not go unless they like standing around waiting

I love starbucks and i understand that with this being a new one the baristas are atill new but they need some sort of a manager present to help out and or give the baristas a better training. I feel horrible writing this because i completely u understand why it is slow but they need someone to step in and help them manage the busyness

I was very excited for Starbucks to finally open in Waltham, and only 5 minutes from my house. I have been driving all the way to Lexington before this location opened. The staff here is just OK. I have had a few VERYBAD experiences here already. There is one man, red hair and beard whom is always very rude and short with me and other customers. He basically had a «hissy fit» one morning in front of a line of customers while we all waited. He was FARFROMNICE. They take a very long time in making drinks and almost every time get the orders wrong. out of 10 trips, my drink has been incorrect at least half. When possible i just make the extra drive to Lexington where the service and staff is great!

This Starbucks is brand new and so are the baristas who are very friendly but understandably a bit slow as it was clear they were still learning. Unfortunately there is no drive through which would have been great for this location as the parking outside is limited. My overall Starbucks experience was good.
