Was so impressed — All crazy thoughts go through your head as the water is overflowing from your washing machine — I was thinking either major expensive repairs and/​or having to get a machine. Waltham Appliance were recommended by a few people. They returned my call immediately — Came when they said they would (call to let me know on the way) — they did not take me over the coals — they were fair and they fixed my machine quickly. Would use again!

I don’t ask for much. They came when they said they would. The repairman was very, very nice. They fixed my broken dryer. I thought the price was fair. The woman that answers the phone is funny. I’ll definitely use them again.

Very expensive. They got the date of my appointment wrong so I had to wait an additional two days for repair. They are fixing it now and hopefully it will work. I decided to pay up just to get the repair over with but I might have been better off buying a new machine than to pay for this expensive repair.

With major appliance repair you’ll need to pay the house call fee (service charge) whether or not the person knows the solution so it’s nice to get the best person for the job. In my case, the repair person didn’t know the solution so I wasted the $ 75 fee. I was able to find the solution on the web. Instead of replacing the part for $ 250 as suggested by this provider, I could see from the diagram how to snap the old one back in place.
