Geppetto’s Pizza

Decent slices… Seems like u walked into grandma’s house not sure how they stay afloat with pizza 1 car deliveries everywhere… Must be grandma’s baking…

AVOID AT ALL COST, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. We were in the area visiting friends and decided to drop by this place for some pizza. Order a chicken parm sub, slice and buffalo wrap and it was probably the worst tasting food I have ever tasted. Chicken was uncooked and sauce was cold when I had my first bite. They are literally robbing people when they charge you for their food. The snotty little old lady should retire and burn the place down!

Terrible!!! Came to Ringwood castle and was told by front desk this place delivers & boasted about the food. My husband & I ordered as soon as we checked in. Got our food an hour & 15 mins later. Ordered pasta entrees which were supposed to come why salad & bread. They forgot the bread & the salad was so old we had to throw it out. Chocolate cake was so stale my husband threw it out! $ 40 later & we are hungry and extremely disappointed! Would never recommend this place to anyone! Stay away!

Please don’t waste your money. Food is tasteless and not fresh. Ordered the fettuccine Alfredo which tasted like something made with boiling water out of the packet. Got salad as a side which was probably a few days old judging by the colour of lettuce. Chocolate cake tastes as if it was left out for a few days as well. I don’t understand how they are in business.

We stopped here for pizza after visiting Ringwood Park. We weren’t expecting anything fancy, but we tried regular slices and the pizza was horrible. We ate it only out of obligation and hunger. The décor is depressing and completely out of date.

Similar to previous reviews, growing up this place always had a reputation as only having generic and average food… and I have no idea why. Maybe they changed it up in the last few years? At the recommendation of a friend who said «You really need to try Geppetto’s again, it’s pretty damn good pizza» I started stopping in, and you know what, it is good!
Their pizza and sandwiches totally hit the spot. They also have a coupon box top deal for a free pie.
Friendly family owner/​operator who will chat with you while you’re waiting. I’m not sure why myself and others haven’t come here more!

Loved their plain pizza, my only regret is not trying it sooner! I definitely prefer it over Franks and Pizza One.
Looking forward to trying their other menu items as well.
To top it off, they have a giant sign from the old Jungle Habitat in the back. Now THAT is cool.

This review is based on take-​out only. Geppetto’s has, over the years, gained a rep as *not* one of the better pizza places in the Ringwood /​Wanaque area. I’m not sure why, but one thing Geppetto’s offers, that other area pies don’t, is taste! These pies taste great. There are probably five places to get pizza in Ringwood and another two or three in Wanaque. They mostly offer bland, cheesy, typical suburban slices. Geppetto’s is nicely sauced, thin crust with a nice sprinkling of cheese. Not ‘gloppy’ at all. I had only had their pies twice, two years apart, and each time I’ve been impressed enough to ask where it was from. I now recommend it to friends, often with a ‘You’re not going to believe this, but you know who has great pizza???’ as I recently told someone, the best thing about this pizza is that there’s nothing wrong with it. It won’t bowl you over but you’ll really enjoy it. Amother plus is their two pies for $ 20 pick-​up deal. This is easily the best regular pie in the immediate area. Four stars based solely on good tasting pizza
