When the perky teenage staff isn’t helping customers, they’re cleaning. When they aren’t cleaning in front, they’re cleaning in the back. or wiping down tables… or mopping the floors. or. something related to a paper towel and a spray bottle! This Red Mango sparkles more than a pro basketball players wife’s engagement ring. As long as they’re not pouring bleach in my fro-yo, I’m very OKAY with this level of cleanliness. I used to call red mango«red ripoff» because 1) Pinkberry was the only one in the game a handful of years ago and 2) Their prices were so much higher than other fro-yo places. They’re not inexpensive, however since fro-yo got so popular, other spots have risen their prices significantly since 2010. Therefore, prices are on par with everyone else at this point. I don’t care, anymore. Plain pomegranate yogurt with a sprinkle of coconut or chocolate bits is the way to go. One yogurt, one topping. I don’t play games. I go fruit — or I go chocolate. No mixing, no in between and NO nonsense. Salted caramel popcorn flavor with blueberries and count chocula cereal? Get out of here. I don’t have a palate of a 12 year old. What can I say? I get exactly what I want @ Red Mangs, and I’m happy.

i had a really poor experience with Red Mango a few years ago. I went to the Carle Place location and it was awful to i decided to try a smoothie today. The place was spotless and the girl working there was super friendly and nice. I decided on a tropical mango smoothie. Its good but doesn’t really taste like mango oh well. I still liked it and will go back again and try something else. Everything looked great. I just would never get the plain yogurt again. I was awful. Like tart pudding. No thanks, Give me white peach or vanilla bean or hell even toasted coconut. I can’t imagine how anyone actually enjoys that plain stuff.

This review is for the staff. They are absolutely awesome. I was staunchly anti Red Mango because the franchise closest to me has been a huge disaster every single time I’ve visited. This place turned all those bad experiences around. Great welcome, attentive service, and wonderful people all around! We WILL be making the hour drive to give them our business. You guys rock!

I love Red Mango. This review is for the location, though, and not the yogurt itself. The teenagers working here are completely different from the teens in the Massapequa location. Here, they actually seem to enjoy their jobs and like their co-workers; they are much more friendly and helpful, whereas the Massapequa location’s staff always seem unhappy and I have witnessed them fighting. Also, this location is very clean, unlike, again, the Massapequa location. I’ve seen the staff here actually cleaning as well, so I know they do a better job. The Massapequa RM is closer to where I live, but 90% of the time I find myself coming to this one instead. Besides, this one is open an entire hour later than the other one!

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m late to the market with this. Where are we, 2013? And this year was my first visit to Red Mango? You would think I had been avoiding it. I really have nothing bad to say about the place, nor can I probably bring anything positive to the table that anyone from a five year old to an eighty five year old doesn’t already know, but just in case, here goes: There are about a dozen different yogurt flavors(some sugar free), probably thirty different toppings — including random cereals, fresh fruit, candies, rainbow cookies, etc — and a handful of syrups you can pour on. It’s all self-serve, but rest assured if you get confused there are plenty of staff people that will help. There is also a free red mango card you can sign up for. You’ll get $ 5 off your next purchase, and start earning points immediately. The points will eventually get you more discounts. If by chance there is someone else in the world who hasn’t tried it yet, you need to go right now. I’m serious, why are you still sitting, go!

I’m not sure how long this Red Mango location has been here, but it’s new to me. I’ve been to a few RM but this one is now a fave. Super fresh and very friendly service. I’ll definitely put it in rotation when I frequent my Wantagh hot spots. The manager told us that this month you earn double points on your Red Mango card. Free RM treats, um yes please!
