Old-​school five & dime type store, except with new school prices. But… you can find anything from pool & summer toys to spatulas, undies, gardening supplies and arithmetic workbooks for purchase. Given the aggravating LI summer weekend traffic, convenience is worth the price I decided!

This is my go to store for most of my needs, I cant say enough how much I like this store. They always seem to have everything I need. Reminds me of the local five and dime store I had growing up in the City. Always helpful and friendly service. A must go to if you live in the surrounding area

I’ve been there a few times and always seem to find what I am looking for. They definitely have odds and ends but I feel almost everything is over priced. Staff is not too helpful either.

This store has been around forever and I have been going to this place for as long as I can remember. Like Dan said, this place is old school. I don’t know of any other open 5&10’s around the area. They have useful items like housewares, birthday cards, kid toys, arts and crafts materials and even sewing supplies. I have fond memories of coming here and my family buying me toys. They had the best stuff. If you liked those books with the «invisible ink», they have those there. It’s this plain (and funny smelling) marker that when you put on paper, the color shows. You can find some older items like silly putty and slinky’s here. In the back of the store the Wantagh 5&10 even has a lock and key smith. If you’ve never been in one of these stores before, you need to check it out! This place is truly a hidden gem in Nassau. I wish they had more of these around.

This is a great store to got to when you don’t know where To go to find something! That have absolutely everything here that you possibly need. Remind me of Woolworth, which I used to love! Great store just to walk around and browse. There are always coupons available in the local coupon books, which is a big plus because this place is not cheap, thus the 4 star review.

If you need anything and don’t know where to find it then this is where you go. Like a step back in time this is an old school 100% legit 5 & 10. They have everything under the sun all in one store and prices are great. Do yourself a favor and walk around this store. I guarantee you will find things you didn’t even know you needed and you’ll have fun doing it!
