The property owner determined that because we hadn’t folded the bedding, had left untouched water bottles and moved a chair (yes moved a chair), that we had broken the «rules» and took part of our security deposit. The owner had already charged us $ 125 cleaning fee in advance so obviously this was a scam.
Stay away from this property in Onset as there is really nothing in the immediate area in terms of beaches or sightseeing.
Stay in Chatham, Hyannis or Eastham if you have families that like to go to the beaches and sightsee.
