This place was amazing and I would go there all the time before I went to school in the city. Unfortunately, it has since shut down. We will miss you!

Oh. My. GOD. Really, Yazmin is that good! I was watching tv and started to crave authentic food. so I went on Unilocal(thank god for Unilocal.) I went to their website(where they so kindly have a menu!) and I was shocked at the prices! They were pretty inexpensive(which I wasn’t expecting) We(the boy and I) just wanted a nibble in the afternoon, so we got the Chicken Satay appetizer(3.95!!) and Teriyaki Chicken(7.95) the portions were decent for two people!(not a full meal if you’re a hearty eater and planning on splitting one entrée) but I WOULDHAVEBEENINHEAVENHAVINGONETOMYSELF. It was so good I was honestly just eating spoonfulls of sauce. it’s disgusting in theory, but not in practice for their sauce :) I suggest trying it out, it’s in a strip mall which is easy to get in and out of(thank god!), it’s inexpensive and it was soooo good. Definitely going to be ordering full entrees for dinner next time! –writing this is making me hungry for Yazmin. I’m totally converted–

My Dear Yazmin, we met again last night. You were calling to me and I gave in to those desires by wrapping my lips around those wonderful, moist Duck Dumplings, with the most perfect sauce. Then and only then, did I indulge myself with your General Tao Shrimp and I lathered my taste buds with the flavors that exploded in my mouth. I love how your Jumbo Shrimps are grilled perfectly before diving into your Lo Mein. I could have licked your plates again and again… until next time Darling Yazmin, until next time. Oh yeah, hubby enjoyed the amazing pan fried Pot Stickers, that were perfect and the Caramelized Shrimp with orange and ginger. He was in heaven.

I recently came here based on the other reviews as our family likes Chinese food for take-out night. Well first off I’ll let you know that I’m only rating the take-out Chinese food aspect of Yazmin as we didn’t sit down. In fact when I arrived during the week at 5pm the place was empty inside(as you’ll see in my pictures) except for the one person at the front desk near the entrance. I almost thought they were closed. Now on to the food… I have to say that Yazmin doesn’t do what I call a traditional style Chinese food take-out. If you order the Beef & Broccoli they will give you a sectionalized plastic plate with the entrée in one section and the white/brown rice in another section. This makes it *perfect* for individuals ordering out but not so great for families wanting to try a bit of everything as the portion size is typically smaller as they’re not in the larger Chinese food squared to-go boxes. Our family typically sticks to the«usuals» and we ordered the General Tso’s Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Beef Lo Mein, Chicken Fried Rice, & Spring Rolls. We all thoroughly enjoyed the General’s Chicken and thought it was the best in the area! The Beef & Broccoli was also really good with the Broccoli nice and crunchy not soggy and overcooked like most places. The only things that we found that were better at Jannie’s(located on Easton Rd) were the Fried Rice, Lo Mein, & Spring Rolls. In the end I’d definitely recommend Yazmin especially if you have a single person or two looking for some great Chinese food to go. If you’re a family looking for a take-out spot I’d probably look elsewhere.
