Really good and so cheap. This place looks like hell but the fish is awesome. I had grouper and it was outstanding. They have lunch specials mon-fri for $ 6 that include a drink. Not all sharks are created equal but this one is on point. Don’t be in a hurry they fry everything up when you order it. The service was great too.

Prices are competitive with other fried food places, but they need to change the fryer oil more often. Using a separate fryer for chicken would help cut down on mixed tastes from fish being cooked in the same fryer. Have one fryer for chicken, one for fish, and one for french fries. Too many times you get that old oil taste. Yes, that might increase the prices, or it could draw in more satisfied customers which would result in a lower overhead percentage, thus allowing prices to not rise too mcuh. I usually get an all chikcen box to go. Legs for about 80 cents each is a good deal. The fish is good.

Mmmmm, tilapia. Some of the best tasting fried fish I’ve had. I’m not sure if it’s FRESHFRESH, but it didn’t taste as horrible as one reviewer said it did… so, it’s all good for me. I’m sure it also depends on the day… no restaurant is ever as consistent as they should be. Also ordered fried chicken — meh, I could’ve passed on that. I’m from Chicago(was just visiting here for the holidays) and my location there has THEBEST lemon pepper chicken… hands down.

Food is pretty good, we had the 2 piece breast meal which was only $ 6 and the catfish fillet meal, both were very good. Laid back old school atmosphere, with a kind staff to top it all off. Karaōke on Fridays was fun too the staff even sang a song.

I’m not getting the shrimp that I started getting when they first opened. The batter that they’re using is not as good as in the beginning. I thought that perhaps I had found a good seafood to go place… Meh.

Quite simply THEWORSTSEAFOOD I’ve EVER eaten. I have lived in two different continents and eaten my fair share of seafood. Having lived on the coast all my life until moving to GA, I’ve eaten a LOT of white fish. This place must of thought that if they slap on some cheap breading and fry it to death then you won’t notice that it tastes like it’s been dragged from the coast on the back of a pick up truck exposed to the trash, heat and debris from I-75. The ONLY saving grace I could find was that the French Fries were palatable, Barely. Save your money and go get a fish sandwich from Burger King down the road. Less hassle, more taste and a LOT less Money.

I really enjoy their fish, the portions are generous and the price is a bargain.

The restaurant was clean. Credit card and debit card reader does not work. So you must pay with deprecated fiat currency. Friends and family enjoyed the food. The atmosphere and food selection was exactly that of a ghetto fish shack, which some may like. Dine-in food is served to the table in Styrofoam to-go containers. Menu selection is very limited and the choices they do offer are basically mash ups of other foods. Ex. tilapia, fries, slaw or grouper, onion rings and slaw. Everything was fried. The menu does include several non-fried items, but they are few and far between. The Arab(Jordanian) staff and management were polite, but a Jordanian cuisine would have greatly been preferred to a mound of grease soaked«fish and chips.» The do not sell shark in any form. They have 2 talking fish animatronics, neither of which worked due to the lack of batteries. The dining room was empty besides the friends and family I arrived with. A flat screen TV blared out CNN propaganda the entire time I was there. Overall, it was quite disappointing. The few bites of food I did manage to choke down, were not bad, just not worth swallowing, unless one was starving in the Gulag. I would not suggest going here unless you like the«ghetto fish-fry» concept and if that is your thing, then bring you own hot sauce as they have none.
