Waffle House

We needed a place to eat on Easter Sunday, and decided that waffle house would be the place to go. They were not busy, and we easily found a booth. Our waitress was on the spot and kept our drinks filled. The food was fresh and tasted awesome. Solid service and meal! We will come back again soon!

Yesterday morning, I was so excited to try out this place because being new to Georgia, I heard it was a must go to place to have the best breakfast. Sadly I was disappointed. Upon arriving, it was empty with only one man at the counter (who had a staring problem) and with two people working behind the counter. The man who seated us was super polite and gave us our menus and utensils very quickly. He was very quick about getting us our drinks as well. Which by the way, the orange juice is not good. Do not get! The top of the juice was a thick lair of white foam and had to only be drank through a straw! And all around the juice wasn’t good at all. Probably was like couple weeks old sitting in the machine honestly.
The menu had lots of options but we decided to go with the $ 6.97 meal deal that came with a waffle, eggs, choice of bacon or ham, hash browns, and toast. We got our food very fast which really impressed me but also concerned me. I wondered, «how did they cook all our food that fast if there’s only two men working?» There was 5 of us… the waffle was delicious! It was very soft with hints of crunch which I absolutely loved!
But the hash browns were flavorless and there wasn’t really a good amount. My eggs were extremely watery and had a clear residue which was not at all pleasing to look at or eat. I ordered sausages for my side dish of meat and that tasted like the sausages you buy at the dollar store. They were tiny and flavorless. I had to add a lot of hot sauce and ketchup on my food. I don’t even like ketchup but I did it anyways so I can have more flavor.
I didn’t get full at all and I wasn’t impressed with the food. Maybe it was an off day or maybe the right cook wasn’t in but as of now, I won’t be going back anytime soon for my morning fix. ³⁄₁₀ would not recommend

While the food tonight was very well cooked the service was atrocious I have never had such a rude server before she was just snobby and snappy and all around rude while I may be back because there are some great servers her I won’t EVER if I see Jessie working!

I showed up around 7 am and met a group of 11 other people with plenty of room for all of us to sit together which was great. I had really good customer service and my cup was never empty of fresh scalding hot coffee. I asked what the waitress recommended and she said the cheese eggs were «really good»! So I went with that. It came with hash-​browns, bacon, toast (I opted for white) and cheese eggs. Everything tasted ok except the cheese eggs. The problems are as follows:
1) No seasoning like salt and pepper
2) Texture was a mix of semi boiled, undercooked goopy blobs of awfulness.
3) American cheese makes the eggs cheesy?!
I ate pretty much everything ok my plate and overall this place was ok. But those cheese eggs are the stuff of nightmares.

As per the usual, this waffle house is nasty. Food is ok but i feel dirty walking out of the building. But what else do you expect at 3 am after a heavey night out on the town.

The Waffle House is just one of those places that you love based solely on how sleazy and nasty the place is. I consider the quality of one depending on the number of teeth the waitress still has. The more the worse the place. They have more or less every type of horrible artery clogging meal involving eggs and hash browns you could think up. Since it’s a short order place, you could probably ask them to make something on the menu and they’d probably do that for you too. Rarely have I been to this place sober, and it being open 24 hours a day, they invite degenerates like myself. Horribly greasy food at a cheap price on an alcohol full body is just what the bartender ordered.
At this place I’ve seen all types of characters, my favorite being the stripper that just got off work. Ya gotta have eggs and bacon right after grinding your cooch in someone’s face.
