Applebee’s

I wish I could give zero stars. The past four times my girlfriend and I have eaten there have been very disappointing. Fries are frequently burnt, stale, and cold. Other food items are either cold or the breading is noticeably old. I realize that I should have stopped going sooner, but I am a reasonable person and it is very near my home. I also realize that certain factors can decide how a dining experience can be effected; e.g. different cooks, servers, and even shift management. On the third visit, however, I had my fill (no pun intended) and decided to lodge a formal complaint with corporate. After many days, the general manager of that location called me and offered me a 25 dollar gift card. My girlfriend and I used it on our forth and final visit. I will drive to Perry or Macon from now on, though that is an inconvenience. Or perhaps I will just eat at one of their rivals (not that they care).

I wish there was a zero horrible service food order took a over an hour which was cold and wrong and this has not been the first time seems to happen every time I go there so I have now put it on the band list

The absolute worst service imaginable. We were told the wait would be 15 – 20 minutes. 45 minutes later we were still waiting. They sat 4 groups of people that came in AFTER we did. While waiting we used the restroom where two servers were discussing how they would stand in there to take their break because no one would notice. Extremely disappointed.

Very well may be the worst food you could find on planet Earth. Not quite sure how it compares to third-​word countries; I actually think I would prefer to starve than to stomach another meal from this monstrosity. Service is ALWAYS consistent – extremely awful to match the food.

Our server Erick was great. We haven’t had service that genuinely great in a long time. Thanks Erick! The food was good. No problems or issues. The restaurant has been completely remodeled and looks alot better than the last time we visited.

Curbside is horrible, food was so hard and cold I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Eating out of a dumpster would be more satisfying.

Stopped by for lunch today, a cheeseburger and my wife had the club. Waited over 35 minutes for the meals to come out and the club was terrible. the bread was soaking wet and so soggy you could not even pick up the sandwich. Manager brought out a new one, it was just as bad… She said the bread comes in frozen and they thaw it under heat lamps, and that is why the bread is wet… The replacement sandwich was just as bad as the first. If you can’t get a simple club sandwich right, that is pretty poor. The waitress was great– she gave great service, but the quality of the food was poor and service out of the kitchen was even worse. Will try Ruby Tuesday’s right across the street next time…

An exercise in mediocrity. I came in for half priced apps. I arrived on a Friday at 4:30 and was seated quickly by a friendly hostess. I found out that only a select subset of the app menu was included in the half price promotion. So I decided to order a sampler. The food came out pretty quickly, ten minutes after ordering to be exact and the server was friendly.
Now to the food. I ordered Kobe meatballs, Sriracha Shrimp, and Pot Stickers. The cheese atop the meatballs refused to melt and the cibata bread on the side was burnt a little, but that was ok. The meatballs themselves weren’t too bad, but nothing to write home about. The shrimp was supposed to be fried, but the weak «Sriracha» sauce it was coated in had made them soggy and the breading was having real problems staying on the shrimp. I was disappointed in this dish because it had absolutely no bite. Very bland, yet they had the nerve to invoke the name Sriracha! The pot stickers were not pot stickers. Sure they had the filling and the wrappers, but these things were deep fried! There were two sauces that accompanied these imposters. First was a peanut sauce that tasted like paint thinner. Second was some soy sauce concoction that had broken so every time I dipped a fried thing in, all I got was oil. I mixed it up for them and tasted again. It wasn’t bad. Nothing more than a slightly thicker, slightly sweeter soy sauce. Well I know it sounds like I’m running the food into the ground, but I will be honest, I ate it all and didn’t complain. I mean, why would I complain? I really don’t think an Applebee’s kitchen could produce a better version of any of the dishes. I guess I would recommend this restaurant if you just wanted to chill and not really give much thought to flavor.
The atmosphere was clean and friendly, but the food was just so-​so. Three stars. This is like a teenager’s idea of classy. I mean it’s not Donald Trump classy like a Red Lobster or something, but yeah…3 star mediocrity.

This easily counts as one of the top-​5 WORST restaurant encounters of my life. My son secured a table around 12:20. We walked out at 1:40 without eating or receiving our food (although we left $ 5 on the table for the drinks), after having 2 manager visits and a couple of server visits to assure us that our food would be out shortly. In the meantime, our drinks were not handled, and EVERY OTHER TABLE we could see or hear was having the same issue. Servers were hardly to be seen.
Our server did come by one time to promise a drink refill, and the bartender came 15 minutes later with the drink, telling us that our server was in the back making our food, because the manager wasn’t doing their job.
An hour and 20 minutes to make 3 hamburgers and a chicken sandwich? I will be hard-​pressed to find ANY reason to spend my money at this store anytime in the near future.

Decent food as always. My pasta could have used more chicken because even when I cut it up it was gone in 3 bites and all I was left with were noodles. It was quite bland which was no shocker. When we first arrived there there wasn’t a hostess in site. Waitress took her sweet time checking on our table when we could see her standing at the bar talking to the bar tender. The wait for our food was lengthy even though there were roughly 10 people there.

Went there to celebrate my birthday and had very bad service. My child has special needs and was ready to go and we waited 25 min for our bill after we ate and Michelle who was a server took too long on refills. I wrote to the corporate office and all the manager wanted to do was give us a free appetizer. Sorry you just lost us as long time customers.

Applebee’s has really stepped it up in the past few months. I don’t recommend sitting at the bar to eat, but a table or booth, for an enjoyable experience, great new pub menu and the addition of sweet potato fries are awesome!

I ordered an cheese burger. I ended up getting a charcoal hockey puck with bbq sauce on it. Waitress was nice but thats the only reason im not one satring this place.

Our last experience here was not great we ordered the Mexican chicken wrap that had no chicken in it. So this time… We did the 2 for 20 deal. We were seated promptly and the server Kate was friendly. They have this point of service system at your table where you can call your server and order apps and drinks and view your bill. This made me hesitate because at first I thought the server was not going to be attentive but she was attentive and still checked on us regularly. We started with the wonton tacos which were delicious as always. I had the quesadilla burger which was juicy and flavorful. Husband had a new dish the honey chicken tenders and bacon Mac and cheese it was creamy and delicious with a nice balance and texture. Applebee’s is trying hard to get your business back with a revamped menu and new flavors. Awesome experience.

Boooo no more burger Mondays bring back burger Monday’s it was the best deal you guys had.

I read the Macon & WR location’s reviews before our visit, and decided to give this Bee’s on Russell a chance anyway. I was pretty disappointed with my decision when our visit started sketchy. We arrived around 10pm tonight, & there was no hostess at the stand. We, along with two other parties, definitely walked into chaos! The manager ended up seating us, & once seated, everything changed. Our waitress, Cindy, was attentive, courteous, & hospitable. We ordered soon after sitting down, and our food came out soon thereafter.
Cindy, the wonton tacos, & wings alone would get 5 stars BUT I can’t ignore that sour first impression! Overall, I’d recommend the place. It wasn’t bad for a Saturday night during ½ price apps!

I see the other reviews and they are dismal, but my family & I had a decent experience at the local Applebee’s. Given I wasn’t expecting 5 star restaurant service, but it was clean, our food arrived in a timely manner and our server was cute as a button and very attentive to us.
Food was of standard fare, we dined on chicken quesadillas, balsamic chicken & a steak. *shrugs* Wasn’t out the ballpark delicious, but for a total meal plus appetizer for under $ 30, it fit the bill.
I’ll be back, but mainly because they have a well-​priced Happy Hour and their drinks are yum.

I have had the displeasure of eating at this Applebee’s for various occasions and on not one of them did I ever have my order delivered to me as ordered. The best part is when they completely forget about your order and pretend the kitchen was taking too long. Ok, honey don’t play with me because I was a waitress for 6 years from mom and pop to luxury restaurants and I know the tricks.
The only thing I recommend this Applebee’s for is their To Go services. I have never had an issue with that.

Went here because of the new dish — 3 cheese mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders. The advertisement looked really good on TV. So I pre-​ordered and the food was ready upon arrival. The place was packed and loud. I had called and placed my order and had to call 3 times, upon going inside I realized why, My meal did not look anything like what was advertised. The chicken tenders looked like slightly larger chicken nuggets. The sauce (honey pepper) that was supposed to be on the chicken was given on the side, so the flavor wasn’t soaked through. Overall — it tasted good but I was disappointed by the proportion of the chicken.

Only reason it gets two stars is our Server Jermaine was very good!
The veggies were over cooked and salty!
The baked potato burnt!
I expect a certain quality from Applebee’s and this was not it!
The steak was not prepared as asked but since I’m not picked I didn’t complain
