If you don’t think this place has great Indian tacos and good food then just go back to braums and get a burger, or put your Raybans back on and go back to Cool Greens. Cheap, simple and will please a big appetite. Do it.

Today was the first time my wife and l had Tim’s, and we must say that we were very impressed! We got the $ 6.99 meal deal and got home to enjoy some very good food! It came with a Gyro, Fries, and a Drink, and their Dr. Pepper doesn’t disappointing! Our 9 month old daughter enjoyed the meal as well, and we think we’ve added a new favorite to her ever-growing palate. I think we will be going back soon to order more from the menu! I believe I’d recommend this tiny little drive«inn» to more people.

I love Tim’s, although now that I’m eating healthier I don’t go there often anymore. I love the food and the Dr Pepper is the best I’ve ever had. More popular food chain could use a lesson on how not to water down their drinks. The staff at Tim’s is great and most of them have worked there for years. Definitely a must try.

If that’s what an Indian taco is, I’ll pass! There wasn’t any flavor. I wasn’t impressed

Excellent burger and Indian taco. Pretty affordable especially on Saturdays. Only problem is it’s a small business. There is very limited parking and space inside to order. It’s best if you go through the drive through, which has a tendency to be long. That said, the service was fast.

If you’re looking for a dive with great, simple food, you’ve found the right place. Their hot seasoned fries are delicious and their burgers are really good(just bear in mind they aren’t fancy, you’re getting a backyard barbecue style burger here.) The Dr. Pepper is ridiculous. I don’t know what kind of magic they do to make it taste so good but you won’t find anything else like it. I’ve heard rave reviews about the Indian tacos, but haven’t had a chance to try them yet. Maybe next time. THEYTAKECARDS. THEYTAKECARDS. THEYTAKECARDS.

Very solid place I have seen it for many many years and have never taken the plunge, today our family got three Indian tacos and they were outstanding, will have leftovers for tomorrow I highly recommend this place if you want a place that is not your typical chain fast food place.

Was traveling through-not familiar with the area & didn’t want a chain. Saw the great reviews on Unilocal & decided to give it a try. Was a little worried about the looks of it, but it gave me memories of a place I grew up going to & took a chance. Had the Indian Tacos, Chocolate Malt & Onion Rings. I was not disappointed! Delicious & well worth it! Next time I find myself in OKC, I’ll make a point of stopping here!

Excellent, no frills dive. The fried onion burger is good, and the onion rings are excellent.

This is the greatest place on the face of the planet. Everything is always fantastic. My family’s been coming here since before I was born. BBQ sandwich, Indian taco, burgers, cherry limeade… all winners. Hit the drive-thru and keep on scootin’…

Tim’s Drive In has been a family staple of ours since before I was born. It has always been a joke that my mom got me addicted to their Dr. Peppers while I was still in the womb. It doesn’t look like much from the street, but I have not yet come across a Dr. Pepper, or any soda for that matter, that is as refreshing as the ones at Tim’s. The staff is very friendly and work very hard to make sure their food will have you coming back for more. If you are unsure about what to try, you can’t go wrong with the cheddar cheese balls and a burger! The drive in is great if you are in a rush, but if you have time step inside the small restaurant for the full experience. I can’t go to OKC without stopping by. Head over there on a Saturday afternoon with the family. You won’t be disappointed.

So glad they now take c-cards. Tim’s has been a staple li’l hamburger stand for a long time. It’s ability to last through the years is a great indicator of delicious food. Most people drive-thru, but I find it fun to sip a small bottled Coke while I wait for my order. Friendly staff and yumminess keep us coming back.

This place is no frills whatsoever. It’s also pretty good. The service is not great, we were asked«what do you want» which while it’s in a way the correct question to ask, the way it was asked was anyting but ideal. I got the indian taco and my girlfriend got a hot dog. The indian taco was much better than the one you would get at the fair. Real cheese is a plus. Too many beans. I ended up eating all the bread and leaving a lot of beans and lettuce on my plate. I think next time I might get the fry bread alone or maybe with chili. They also have freedom fries on their menu, I do not think this is an ironic thing. I think this might be one of the more sans irony places in the metro area. It’s good food though.

Service was great, the ladies were friendly and worked quickly to get our food out to us. There is very limited seating and the place looks like a throwback to the 70’s-80’s with minimal updating having been done. The prices are reasonable. The Indian tacos are pretty good. The only improvement I would make would be to make the bread, not as thick(mine was a bit chewy) and to give the option to up charge and add some crumbled ground beef to it. With those two modifications it would be perfect.

This place is tiny! But super cute. I love the inside of it. Very smalltown feel. They have good food that I would say is decently priced –corndogs, burritos, burger, Indian tacos, hot dogs, fries, jalapeño cheddar balls, shakes, malts, good drinks. There are other things but that’s the gist of it. Now here’s something that may deter people and if it does, well that’s yo thing: This has an old timey feel to it. As in no gloves or hairnets. Usually I’m a stickler about these things, but it feels appropriate for the setting and type of people who work there. Now, if someone at McDonald’s(God forbid I go there more than once every few months) handles my food that way, NOTHANKS. It makes sense to me. Leave me alone. I don’t eat fast food often, but I’d recommend Tim’s.

Every time I drive by Tim’s, I have to resist the urge to stop and get a Dr. Pepper. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. I’m a Dr. Pepper junkie, and when I want a good fix, I go here. I think I’ve gotten food here before… but I don’t really remember what I got. A little heads up is that they don’t take debit or credit cards. I rarely carry cash, so yes I have made a trip to the ATM solely to get a DP from here. Who would have thought I would basically dedicate a whole review to Dr. Pepper? But for me, Tim’s might as just have Dr. Pepper on the menu :)

I can’t count how many times I have driven by this place and thought, mmmm Indian Taco! Growing up in Arizona, Indian Tacos are abundant, at the state fair and close to reservations or in the home of my neighbor. I grew up on them. I love them. They make my soul smile. Did I just describe my own comfort food? Anyway. Indian Fry Bread is like a sopapilla. Deep fried bread dough. It’s supposed to be light and fluffy and melt in your mouth. You can eat it with honey and powered sugar, or cinnamon and sugar, or… OR you can make it into a taco. Ta-da an Indian taco. I love mine with refried beans, lettuce, diced tomatoes, onion, salsa and a touch of sour cream. While I understand food differs from region to region, the Indian Taco is pretty smiliar here to the ones I had in AZ growing up. There is only 1 thing wrong with them. The bread. Tim’s needs help with their bread. It’s so dense and chewey… it’s just wrong. I’d also suggest that they drain their beans befor putting them on this chewey bread, but they probably don’t in hopes of helping the miserable bread. Here’s the thing, if I hadn’t grown up eating the best Indian Fry Bread/Indian Tacos on earth, I probably would have really liked this Indian Taco. I also have to admitt I ate quite a bit of it.(ok, less than half, but that’s normal for me) I also ordered a strawberry shake. No, they don’t typically go together, but heck I wanted a shake. The shake was pretty good too. I even sucked up a couple strawberry chunks. Mmmm. The lady that took my order made me laugh. While she wasn’t the customer service poster child, she got the job done. This place is divey. They take CASH only. They also close early, like around 7:30 or 8:00

The place is called«Tim’s Drive Inn.» That’s right. Two n’s. This used to drive me crazy for the longest time, because an inn suggests that one can get lodging for the night. Tim does not have lodging available for the night. Which is probably a good thing because I can imagine how fat I would get if I stayed even just one night at Tim’s Drive Inn. There’s something about the food that’s hard to describe. There’s a Chinese takeout quality to it, because you’re hungry almost immediately after you finish eating. If you make the mistake of staying at Tim’s to eat(either inside the cramped little building or at the outside tables), then this quickly results in you ordering additional food items in an attempt to quash the hunger that seems to hit you only when you’re at Tim’s. Some food voodoo is happening here. More money ends up being spent here than intended. On the matter of taste: It’s pretty good. It’s standard, greasy, dive-like, drive-in food. The onion burgers are delicious, the chili dogs are delicious, and the corn dogs are kinda hit or miss. I’ve only heard about the deliciousness of the Indian Taco, which I’ll have to try one of these days. They also have something on the menu called a «Burro.» I’m assuming it is not in fact a small donkey, but a Burrito and they ran out of letters to spell it properly. Also, supposedly their Dr. Pepper is really special because they add extra syrup or something. I’ve heard some stories from friends who worked there about old ladies coming in to buy 8 cups of Dr. Pepper from Tim’s so that they can go home and freeze it. Sounds crazy, but the Dr. Pepper here is actually pretty delicious. Oh. Right. Cash only.

I’ve been coming here since I was 10 years old. The chili-cheese footlongs are delicious along with some hot crispy fries. The onion burgers and Indian Tacos are amazing. For dessert you have to get a specialty milkshake or a chocolate dipped cone. This little joint seats 8 people inside and 8 outside. Everytime I come here the line for the drive-thru is wrapped around the corner. This is definetly a place deserving of a visit from Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.
