Rude. Always in a rush. Customer service rarely exists. Sometimes I wonder if everyone in the facility is even certified? Don’t waste your money with their package deals, which they run all year long.($ 99 for 6 treatments). You get what you pay for. Cheap work.

Point. Blank. Period. It doesn’t work. The staff was friendly, but you’re basically paying for them to be friendly to you. You’re paying over $ 100 for a group of girls to smile and say«are you ready»? The area I had them do was beyond dark enough! I know how people say the laser won’t work if it’s to light, but i had them do my mini side burns(thanks Russian genetics) Nope! My hair is naturally darker, so I know a laser will work. But don’t kid yourself, go to U of M laser center and shell out the money you don’t want to for the results you’ll love.

This place is horrible. The staff is so rude and will speak a different language in front of you. I won’t even say how many times they burned me or were in such a hurry, they didn’t even fully do the job. 3 times of rudeness was enough for me. i will be going somewhere else from now on. The prices are decent but whats the point if they purposely make you come back and spend more because they didn’t do the job right?

The staff was very friendly on my first 5 sessions. On my last appointment, I arrived 10mins early and must have caught them off guard eating their breakfast because they were not that welcoming nor friendly at that time, they were very«short» with me. I referred a couple of coworkers here and one of them ended up with first degree burns on her wrists and her lower legs right before her feet to the point where they developed into scabs later. I am not sure who did it at the time nor did she. She said the lady seemed like she was rushing and she was telling her that those areas hurt but the lady just brushed it off and made it seem like she was being a baby about the pain.

Advanced Cosmetics Center is one of those places you both love and hate. Love it because of the results, hate it because it can be painful in certain areas. Sure they claim it is painless but I’d like to know who they were testing it on to determine it was painless! Clean facility, kind staff, and honest answers. Totally worth it! :)

I purchased a Groupon for laser after much debating. I was very pleased with my experience. I upgraded to the«newer machine» as it is supposed to be less pain. I had them try both on me and I did notice that the upgraded version was much less painful. I wouldn’t venture to say that it was painless, but«do-able». The office is nothing fancy, but the staff was very nice and I would highly recommend their service.

I purchased a groupon recently and was very pleased with my experience at this center. The staff was extremely friendly and although I was nervous, they answered my questions and made me feel at ease. The rooms were very clean and they have the newest laser out there that hurts considerably less. While it’s not completely pain-free it is more of a mild uncomfortable feeling than anything else. It’s way less painful than waxing in my opinion. Also, their prices can’t be beat! After my first full body treatment I already noticed unbelievable results. Definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in becoming hair free! :)

I’ve been coming here for years– yes, I said years. Only because it hurts so damn bad that I stopped going. I do full body because I absolutely despise body hair any place on me except for lashes eyebrows and on my head lol that being said, it’s super costly and painful. I highly recommend icing the spot you’re getting done and taking a Motrin 30 mins before. I have an abnormally high pain tolerance, so I could handle laser but it’s by no means comfortable and actually should be used in place of the electric chair in my opinion. Have them start at a lower level and work it up. Use the new machines only! DONOTUSETHEOLDMACHINES I promise childbirth is probably more comfortable than that damn machine. Plus the new one is more effective and takes ½ the time! Yay! You will be red and bumpy for 2 – 3 days after(they will tell you you won’t be but again, that’s a lie) but the results make the pain worth it. Did I mention that it really fricken hurts?!

I would never recommend this laser hair center to anyone. FIrst off all you walk in and the women working here do not even acknowledge that a customer is there, and they continue to yell in their own language to each other about appointment. I found it VERY disrespectful and unprofessional the way the women working here act in front of customers. I bought a package from groupon and i would recommend going somewhere that has at least taken a course in talking and communication to customers, especially making them comfortable during the process. The lady doing my legs did not even speak to me even as i tried making small talk with her. They were very«cheap» in the way they administered the lair and MISEEDALOTOFSPOTS. I even had to tell her to go over it again. VERYRUDE, would give this place .5 out of 10 if i could. DONOTGOHERE.

My first experience with laser hair removal. They have the duel machine that they claim is «painless…» Still *&$%! hurts! I screamed for it to stop. The technician didn’t seem to hear me. The traditional one hurts even more. Holy hell. That was so super mean. But I’m sure I’ll do it again since I have a Groupon for it. Was able to call for same day appt, convenient. They speak English. Don’t expect a spa-like treatment area or anything. Just an office with 4 – 5 treatment rooms, floors could use a re-do.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve had laser done 4 other times– 3 at other locations. I might say that laser is pretty addicting once you see the results, and it’s a good investment. I’ve been to locations in Downtown Birmingham, Royal Oak, and Farmington Hills. Some of them feel more like a spa, while others feel like doctor’s offices. I’ve seen it all, and I’ve also had different types of lasers. I’ve come back to ACC for many reasons: 1) Their laser is effective. I’ve had laser that doesn’t hurt before and trust me, if laser doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t work! 2) Their staff. The ladies are always very nice and friendly. You can tell that they really care about the job they are doing. Not only do they take their time to ensure you get the results you want, but they also make you comfortable and I feel like they’re old friends! 3) They take care of you as a customer. They are helpful on the phone, will work around your schedule, and are honest about pricing. The first time I came here earlier this year, I had bought a Groupon for my underarms. After my first treatment I asked about prices, so I scheduled my next appointment for underarms and midline. They are inexpensive compared to other places I’ve been. I’m currently going there for my second round. Although my hair didn’t grow back completely, I’m a bit of a perfectionist. The lady working on me told me that she wanted to see my hair next time I came in so that she could see how thin it was. This was a sign to me that she cared about my results and really wanted to do a great job. I highly recommend this place. You honestly cannot get their prices and service anywhere else. I’ve asked! I’m a huge fan of shopping around for laser. It’s my one indulgence. They treat their clients well and you will be glad you didn’t go to some snooty med spa instead!
