Super amazing! I was only in town for two nights, but I have to say, I loved this restaurant! I got the Caesar Salad, and the Char-Grilled Steak! However, the service was not spot on. Our waitress was fantastic, but when I was walking to the restroom with my little sister, the hostesses immediately ceased their conversation, and was somewhat staring at us. It was a little odd… Overall though, this restaurant was great. It was also convenient, because there are several Andiamo restaurants scattered all over the Detroit area.

OK. First of all this is a large facility. There are 3 – 4 drive ways into the parking lot. The only one open was for valet which we were not interested in. The problem is by the time you realize the other 3 drive ways are blocked you are past the restaurant, therefore many vehicles were making a U-turn on 14 mile road. Once we got into the parking lot without being broadsided we were told by the valet people it was $ 5.00 to valet and $ 5.00 to park your own car. WHAT!!! I bought 4 tickets for the Spirit Of Micheal(Jackson) for $ 200.00 + $ 60.00 in fees and you’re actually asking me for $ 5.00 to park my car??? We park our car and go into the bar area to have a drink and some food before the show. The barmaid was frazzled and rude and a few people left because of her. $ 40.00 for 3 drinks and $ 45.00 + tip for 3 side salads and a small appetizer. WOW! The doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. The tables are«Vegas» style which means your table is 18 inches wide, maybe 8 feet long with 10 adults squeezed in. You couldn’t move your arms! We listened to an hour and a half of Andiamo’s advertisements. Finally at 8:30 out came the main man who did not resemble Michael much and lip synced the whole 65 minutes… YES, 65MINUTESAND11SONGS!!! Are you kidding me??? Whoever is running this showroom is delusional to think people will pay $ 65.00 a ticket for a $ 20.00 show. I have never felt so ripped off in my life! $ 260.00 and $ 120.00 for parking, 3 drinks and 3 salads. I have booked showers at this Andiamo’s in the past so I expected so much more. The food is great and the owner is very nice. But people who feel they have been taken advantage of will not continue to come to Andiamo’s. You got me once but this won’t happen to me again!

Made a reservation on the web for my wife’s birthday and they actually called me 15 min. Later to tell me they don’t want us to take too long eating because they have parties coming in after me. I cancelled my reservation right then. They don’t deserve my money. How rude.

Tried to have a late lunch here. I was informed by the hostess lunch was closed out of the computer. Only dinner was available. Okay. Sat at the bar which was empty, that was cool for me. The bar is beautiful. All dark wood and the A/C was wonderful. I was well looked after by whom I believe was a manager. She was very nice. Seems the barkeep was busy somewhere else for a while. The manager sent me up and informed me fresh bread was in the oven. Hey. I’ll always wait for baking bread. I was given the dinner menu and I proceeded to read that and Unilocal reviews. I must admit as well, the prices are on the high side. However, I know personally food costs are astronomical right now. So taking that into consideration, I could see why. I ordered a double house salad as I love the house dressing. Also got the Salami/cheese platter. The presentation was gorgeous you can see from the pictures. Also the lady who set me up told me it came with grilled bread. I was hoping for that fresh bread. But. The grilled bread was outstanding. And smearing fresh mozzarella on it was to die for. Needles to say. I needed a carry out box. What was I thinking? My 2 orders could have fed 6 people. The reason for only 4 stars. I ordered a cappuccino and before I did I asked the bartender if it was the real deal? She said they use illy. I was thrilled. However. It sucked. More like watered down coffee. Bummed. Total bill.$ 35.00.

I do the dinner show here and seen the Scintas. U am not basing my review on the food because I ate before the show because of a friend’s recommend advice. I did see the menu and my god 40.00 fruit tray. So ate us some Italian prior to the show. Nice atmosphere. Valet was on the ball. Great seats but for 69.00 no food and that’s V.I.P? I would go back to see Tony and Tinas wedding.

I was here about a week ago. I had the salmon and my mother ordered the white fish. We also had ceaser salad and crab cakes as an appetizer. The white fish was amazing. My salmon was good and the crab cakes were nice. I also had red wine — cabernet which they don’t fill up much. Other restaurants are much more generous. The food was good but nothing like Tre Monti or even Maggianos. It was also on a Sunday so it wasn’t that packed. The wait staff was not that great and at all. Not impressed by that. The ambience was pretty and elegant though. The interior décor would be cozy for a date. The lounge looked like it be nice for happy hour after work. The Andiamos in Royal Oak is better.

I booked a reservation here for Valentine’s Day. We were seated almost an hour after our reservation and in a back corner behind a bussing station. Then the bar got over crowed so they moved all the loud drunks to the tables around us and setup another bar. The food was very under cooked yet dry. I just don’t see why anyone would say this place is worth going to.

In Warren, Mi outside Detroit and wanted to eat at a nice Italian restaurant. It is zero degrees here and this amazing Italian food hit the spot. I ordered a fresh blackened sea bass with asparagus risotto and house made pasta side with house made arrabiatta sauce. The service is wonderful. Susan, my bartender is so attentive and Craig, the manager made sure I received a perfectly prepared fish. He presented the filet prior to the chef making it for me. Pleasantly surprised…

Don’t know what they are doing. We called and were told they had open seating and coming in around 5:30 would be no problem but don’t wait too long because they have Eddie Money in that night and have a lot of reservations. No problem we decided to go there for our anniversary last minute. Get a sitter, fight rush hour traffic, and get there at 5:30. Only to be told everything is booked and has been all week. What the hell your people don’t know what you are doing. NEVER will go back.

This place should not be rated 4 stars at all. Although the food was good, it was 3 star good not 4 star. There definitely is a difference. While this was a solid meal, when I am paying $ 35 dollars for a meal I expect things to be perfect, mediocre just doesn’t cut it. Main reason for taking stars away is because the bread was stale and the salad wasn’t properly prepared. First thing you get when you arrive at any restaurant is the brand platter. Very unfortunate that the bread was stale at this restaurant. In fact, the bread was more than stale; I actually had a tough time ripping it apart and it actually hurt my gums when I was chewing. Now I am no old man with dentures, but geez the bread was so stale that it hurt my mouth! Imagine how old bread would have to be to get that stale. Very disappointing that they would serve bread like that and think they can get away with it. It was a French baguette loaf sliced into thin pieces. Next issue was with the salad. The salad was very bland and uninspiring. It was basic leafy green mixture, with a handful of chick peas, and a few tomatoes. There was no taste or ‘zing’ to the salad at all. Maybe a couple of pieces of orange, candied pecans, etc anything would have done the salad justice, but no… The lettuce pieces in the salad were large as well. Made it awkward to eat when everything is chopped to different sizes. For the main course, I ordered the create your own combo. I had Garganelli pasta with the extra tomato sauce. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly and the tomato sauce was very flavorful as well. For me the sauce portion was just right. If you were to just order the dish as I did, without mentioning the extra sauce, you might have felt that the dish was a little dry. But this was the highlight of my meal. It was soo good. Lastly for dessert I had the ‘gaan du’ — pronounced ‘Jean Doe”. A Hazelnut crusted cake thing. Pretty tasty even though I didn’t care for the cheap, stale cake frosting on top of it. The whipped cream itself would have sufficed — see attached picture. Overall a decent meal. Preferable 3.5 stars, but rounded down due a few minor issues.

expensive prices, good food and shitty service: The short version: service isnt good food is really good i had the beef linguini, drinks are really expensive and small. The long version: i have waited two weeks after going to this place because i was so outraged i decided to wait a while before sharing my experience at this«restaurant» . myself and three of my friends decided to go here, i never been so i figured why not. we walk in the host takes us to the table, we sat down a waiter approached us(medium height in his late30’s to mid 40’s, curly grey hair) and said: would you like anything? , no welcome to andiamo’s, no hello how are you, no go fu#% yourself nothing. my friend says: am expecting two more people, the waiter just walks away rudely like he spat on his face or some sh#$. (remember the waiter ill talk about him in a minute) my two friends get here, they sit down a few minutes later a waitress approached the table asking what we like(blonde short hair about 5,5−5.7 i think her name was megan) i say id like the calamari appetizer she says ok and walks away, my friend said excuse me id like to order something, he ordered a side of fries, before he was done talking she was trying to storm out of the table. like we are zombies or something, barely got her to stick around to listen to my third friend’s order. i suggest installing magnets on the tables and give the staff steel shoes to assist waiters and waitresses with a short atention spam like them stick for a minute at the FU$$ing table while i finish my order. HEREISTHECANOLITHATGAVETHEHEARTATTACK(haha italian place) a busboy, chubby, about 6ft, 20 – 26 years old asks me if id like a refill for my water, i said please, he starts pouring the water in the glass my phone was close by it THEWATERSTARTEDSPILLINGONMYPHONE, i look at him seeing this and yet not stopping to pour or apologize. outraged i storm to the bathroom saying how shitty the service is, my friend follows, guess who i see there? the rude waiter, the first one i starred at him waiting for him to finish grooming his hair, wanting to ask him why was he so rude? performance problems, i would have bought him a Viagra box on me so he can chill. but my friend pulls me out. anyways the food gets there it was good i have to say, and the valet was also helpful. Last night my wife and I came here for our 49th wedding anniversary. The service was outstanding. We ordered the surf and turf special. 8oz filet and petite lobster tail for $ 43. The steak was good but we each received only a half of a lobster tail. Must be a shortage of lobster when they have to cut them in half. No drawn butter either. Total bill with only 2 glasses of wine and one desert $ 124. Very disappointed!

I have been to countless banquet events. From weddings, to charity events, to graduation parties, etc. I have never had better food from a banquet facility. The room was beautiful, the staff were very attentive and professional. I was extremely impressed with everything. The roast beef was really exceptional. Our occasion this time was for a Communion. They even had her Communion picture on the huge marquee on 14 mile! My little son was so impressed that she was on the marquee. What a nice touch. I am not sure what the price was for such an occasion, but if you want a seamless, classy and YUMMY experience, please check out Andiamo!

So $ 30 for Easter brunch with no mimosas or bloody Mary’s included… powdered eggs, stale store bought croissants and greasy hash browns…$ 4 mandatory valet parking(with big signs everywhere telling you to tip the valet) and the waiter making sure you know gratuity is not included… Old Country Buffet or Golden Corral would have been better than this place

It is a nice restaurant, no doubt. I’ve gone for various special events, notably post-graduation parties. The food is great, featuring an array of Italian dishes that will make you salivate. The portions are generous and cooked just right, while the service is sublime. This is a more upscale place. Don’t wear jeans and a t-shirt here, as you will be looked at in a different light. You might not even get let in with that kind of attire. There are car valets and you definitely need to bring a nice chump of change to dine here, but it’s worth the experience. It’s not one of those places you go to every other week or what not, and I don’t even go once a year nowadays. I’m more of a casual eater myself and this place requires some personal primping, but make sure to reserve a table ahead of time and enjoy a nice night on the town.
