I don’t understand how anyone could enjoy their pizza. Called an order for delivery which took almost an hour. The long delivery times would be worth it if the pizza was good. It was drenched in sauce and soggy because of that. No one at the pizza and we threw it out.

The pizza might be a little pricey for me, but wow was it high quality. I have gotten their pizza a few times, and each time I had to get their bread sticks too. Just phenomenal.

I’ve always loved the pizza here. The breadsticks win me over the most though which may sound weird but oh my… no joke… get the breadsticks. Seriously… go get them now. Stop what you are doing and go get them.

Unfortunately I got more than what I paid for with this pizza so I have to change my review do to food poisoning. Since all I ate today was the pizza I’m 100% sure that this pie made me sick. Had the Detroit style although pretty pricy it was pretty good. I also had it delivered bravo for setting the proper expectations on cook and delivery time. Great service good pizza. –well not so much.

Just moved here from South Carolina and have been looking for a good pizza place. Vincenzo’s is the place! I walked in and received great service and advice on what to order. Girlfriend got a veggie pizza and loved it. I can’t remember the name of the pizza I got but was very pleased. Crust was perfect on both pizzas, had one with thin and one with regular. Can’t wait to try other toppings.

Truly pleasantly surprised ! Not knowing what to expect as the reviews are at both extremes, but Shannon & Erin are faithful /reliable. Stopped in for a slice at 1pm today, super nice young man the mgr. Sam sets me up a fresh slice, asks if ive got time to wait the 3 minutes as he runs it thru the pizza oven. Sure ! I ask how much slices are, $ 1 alrighty then I’ll take two. They were both super hot and I needed to wait 10 – 11 minutes to dig in. Reminded me of a thin square crust version of a detroit style pizza (think cloverleaf) Definetly will be back.

A Detroit Style Mountain of a Pizza. So. Much. Bread. Still, cooked thoroughly, good ratios. But it is like a pizza brick. Be warned.

I knew I should have not paid and left my pizza on the counter when I saw and felt how dirty the kitchen was. I paid anyway as the young man dropped my money in my hands. Got home with my family and attempted to enjoy my deep dish Detroit style pizza… Then the lovely, fluffy and perfectly wavy hair that rested on the older gentleman’s head near the oven… Or could have been the perfect hair of the rude young man at the register??? Either way this beautiful flock of hair was in a perfect curl in the middle of my deep dish pizza. what a gift… #nothanks #neveragain

The food is usually pretty tasty. My problem? Service! I ordered for lunch and I was told 45 minute wait. If I order for dinner, it’s an hour or more. But that’s not the worst of it. Actual customer service — the older man who works there is a jerk. Of all the times that I’ve ordered sesame sticks, the first several times I would say«No cheese, I’m lactose intolerant» to which I would get a reply of: No cheese ever comes on the sesame sticks, it’s standard, don’t need to ask anymore. So I stopped asking. No big deal, right? Today, I ordered my sesame sticks in the usual fashion(did not mention«no cheese», per the previous several times of being told I didn’t have to) and of course — my delivery shows up and I can’t eat it. My first call up, the older man answers and says that it’s ALWAYS standard to have cheese on everything! He got flustered and said he was putting me on hold… then hung up. I waited 5 minutes, called back. This time a younger guy answered. I explained the situation, and he was very kind and apologetic. I asked if there was anything we could do — A new order without cheese, money back, anything. He went to talk to the manager(who I would assume is the older man). He came back, apologizing that there was nothing we could do because it was my fault AND that they were swamped with orders. No money back. No new fresh sesame sticks. He told me that they do the best with food allergies and if I had stated something, then they would do something about it. How about getting your staff all on the same page with what ingredients are standard? Or better yet, how about printing that on your menu or putting it on your website? Anytime I ordered in the evenings, it was a nice woman who would tell me that no cheese is standard on the sesame sticks — and she would encourage the fact that I don’t need to say it. You want me to tell you everything I’m allergic to when I call every time? That’s like saying«I’m allergic to burgers, but I’m ordering chicken, ok?» You TOLD me there was no cheese everytime! And now it’s my fault? My little«slip up»? And no action to fix the problem? Instead the older man decided to get upset with a customer, then hang up? That’s cool. It’s really cool, guys. You lost me as a customer. You lost my entire OFFICE as a customer. To all other Unilocalers — I pray you never have an issue with your order and I pray that you never have to cross paths with the old guy.

My husband and I just ordered a pizza from here. We waited an hour for it and we live less than a mile away. We knew delivery would take a while. We were informed when we ordered. Once we received the food it was freezing cold. The delivery person said they«got a flat tire» either way our food was cold. We called the owner asking for our money back he said that was fine but accused my husband of lying and said that he was never going to serve us again. He was so disrespectful. Did nothing to please his customers. I’m ashamed that an owner would do such a thing. We’ll never be returning again.

The problem I have with this place is that they are never consistant. It is hit or miss here. I can place a order for the same pizza in a row and they will each be made different. I got the buffalo meets bbq first time amazing next time no buffalo. My husband has gotten the spicy Italian pizza first time amazing next time so spicy you couldn’t even eat it. They should have a chart on the wall or maybe a book of their recipes so that the employee can make the pizzas the same way every time. I have gave them to many chances when the pizza is made right its awesome but I am not willing to waste money and take a chance anymore.

I have had their traditional pizza and their Detroit style pizza and both are very good. The Detroit style is actually pretty mind blowing considering it is a newer style pizza. I was skeptical at first and thought it might just be a gimmick but it was amazing.

I give up. I’ve been trying to order a pizza from this place at night for months. This place is never open when their website says they are. No one ever answers the damn phone. The phone has no message about when their hours are. All the Unilocal hours are hopelessly wrong as well which I can’t ever update because… See above. It’s the end of 2014 if you can’t master the art of a phone message with your hours or a basic website or Facebook page with your hours you suck.

Tonight’s crew outdid themselves with the pizza’s we ordered. I got the White Pizza with tomatoes added and my wife got the Special with spicy sauce. Both of these were outstanding! I could taste the individual ingredients in my White Pizza and it was perfectly cooked and there was no heavy crust to weigh it down. My wife can take lots of spice and even she said, «Wow, this is spicy!»(in a good way), although she now realizes that her request for really spicy was too spicy. Next time she’ll probably go for medium spicy. Unfortunately for me Vincenzo”s is about a mile further away from our regular close-to-home pizza place but after tonight I just may make the extra drive a little more frequently. Also, unfortunately for me, I’ve been trying to drop a few pounds and after eating ¾’s of my medium White Pizza tonight I’m going to have to go without eating for a couple of days.

When we stopped at Kuhnhenns for a beer and realized that they didn’t serve much in the way of food so we called Vincenzo’s and we’re not disappointed. Small cheese bread and an 8 corner chicken ranch and bacon was enough pizza for 4 big guys and no one leaves hungry. The ranch was different normally I’d order a traditional pizza with red sauce.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally did. Boy I waited too long! Their pizza was awesome. The little pepperonis that I love, all nice and crispy on the edge, the bacon was crispy too. Some places have bacon and its all fatty and gross to me. The sauce was perfect. Not too much not to little. And usually you can tell right away if its going to give you heartburn and their sauce did not. My husband and I will be ordering pizza again, I’d actually like to try other items and pizzas. Vincenzo’s is my new favorite pizza place!

I crave pizza like I crave a juicy burger and greasy fries or beer battered onion rings. Vicenzo’s struck again when(pizza usually does) after working 6×12hr shifts in a row. My reward: carbs, grease… fat! I usually go for Green Lantern’s Square pizza but on my day off I remembered to try Vicenzo’s Detroit Style Pizza. The Detroit Style Pizza(DSP) comes w/5 toppings of your choice. We chose pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, peppers(I meant green but they gave us banana peppers. No biggie), and olives. We ordered a Large and holy mother of Pizza Gods it was like a small Sumo baby! It rang in like a Heavy weight and DF and I drove home hoping it packed as heavy as a punch! Did it? Uh, did I just see Evan Holyfielder gimme two thumbs up? Yeah baby! First, the mushroom is F-R-E-S-H so there was some pooling. Not a big deal to me except that it caused the crust to get a little soggy. The DSP isn’t your buttery pie crust like Chicago pizza(even though it is a deep dish). Its more along the lines of pan deep dish like BJ’s brewery(if you’ve ever tried it in Cali). There’s a thick cheesey topping and of course the red sauce poured in the middle. I was worried I’d miss the red sauce but I asked for some extra marinara on the side(didn’t even use it). I can eat. Let’s get that straight. I’m short & little but have an appetite of an cow. I can finish FOUR square slices from Green Lantern or 3 slices from Loui’s Pizza. I tapped out at 2 large slices and DF tapped out at 1.5.(I finished his half so really I ate 2.5 slices. **Flexing**) A large($ 38 but you get what you pay for!) can feed a 2 heavyweight boxers with 8 thick slices. We should’ve gotten a small but we always get a large square and can usually finish 80% of it. The next day I had leftover pizza for lunch and boy was it good cold. Soggy bottom but I didn’t care. This was worth trying but next time I’m loyal to their square! IG account: vicenzospizzeria

I’ve decided to try out the chicken parmesan, which has shown different results than what I was looking for. After a couple bites, the pizza reminded me of something that has little to do with pizza. I couldn’t put my finger on it until recently, a few hours after the feast; a cream-cheese filled pretzel. That’s right, it reminds me of a cream cheese filled pretzel, which was one of the best pretzels I’ve ever had! In fact, go to Kuhnhenn’s down the street and get one right now! Ok, really though, Vincenzo can make you a pizza that tastes just like one in less time it would take for the waitress to take your order, and I’m not exaggerating all that much. So, if you’re not weirded out already, which you shouldn’t, I’ll elaborate a bit. The pizza not only tastes like a cream cheese filled pretzel, but add more and more cheese to the mix. The cheese adds a fluffiness to the pizza, which is probably why the texture reminds me of a pretzel. It is only to be accented by chicken cooked to perfection. The parmesan tastes of a top-shelf wheel, mixed in with equally good provolone and mozzarella. I really wish I could describe the flavor more, but this pizza still screams pretzel to me. And hey, I really really like pretzels. Apparently my sugar glider Ninja likes the pizza equally as well. He almost had the box open before I startled him, fumbling for my phone to take video. Sorry, I don’t have a video of a sugar glider nosing a pizza box open. If I did, I probably would have called it a night and waited for the advertisement money to roll in from YouTube. I did let him munch away a bit. Yeah, this pizza is sugar glider approved. This pizza is of heavy-type, regardless of the pretzel persona I precariously drew so vividly already. A few slices are sure to keep your airhead friends on their feet and your hefty friends a bit closer to the ground. I ate one slice past half of a medium pizza, which was one slice too many for the night for me. My only complaint, though, is that I’ll have one less slice tomorrow. I’ll sleep well knowing that a swift storm couldn’t move me from my bed. After eating, I thought that this may truly be my favorite pizza. Then reasoning took over and I started trying to devise ways of putting this pizza in its own category, because I have way too many other favorites. «It’s not ‘really’ pizza,» I thought(which yeah, it is). But alas, my technical thinking kicked in and came to the conclusion that you can favor more than one thing, have your cake, and eat it too. Thanks for reading, Kristoff PS. Check out my other reviews below for more in-depth descriptions of some other great pizzas, like the Detroiter pizza, breakfast pizza, and just a plain ol’ freakin great pepperoni pizza.
