The food is immensely overpriced for what you get. Everything I’ve eaten on the lunch menu tastes like it was from a frozen package. It seems the food has consistently been worse each time I’ve eaten here over the last couple years. I recently ordered a Gyro, it was so bad I tossed it out after 3 bites.

Had no idea this place existed until I met my friend there for breakfast this past weekend. Walking in, it is very new & clean. I guess this place is established(been around since dirt roads kind of established :)) and it was recently revamped due to a fire. Well they did a great job. Nicely lit for a diner. We ordered breakfast, and I have no complaints. The omelet was too big to eat all of it, so I had breakfast for Sunday too. I’m not a potato kinda person, so they let me substitute french toast, pancakes or grits! I love that! I got cheesy grits. My pal got the cinnamon apple walnut pancakes, and they too were delicious. 3 huge fluffy pancakes, that we both devoured. No clue about their lunch or dinner food, but there are absolutely no complaints about the décor, service, or breakfast food.

The food is below par and a bit expensive for what you get. The wait staff is less than friendly and seems to not care if you are there or not. If this was the only place open, I might stop there, but wouldn’t go out of my way. Better alternatives around.

Good food. Works well for groups they have long booths that you can fit 6 to 8 people in

The pancakes are amazing. The fish and Mac is also good. We come here any time of the day and always get good service.

Wow, loved, loved, loved this place! Great food(#1), superior friendly staff(#2) and just a nice place to visit when you’re traveling(#3). If you’re anywhere close to Doc’s, stop in for a memorable quality meal at a great price.

They should change the name to «Doc’s Insanely Average Food.» Don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking the place. By average I mean it’s not terrible and it’s not amazing, and they’re surprisingly consistent in that regard. I’ve eaten here several times, and I was never disappointed nor elated with my food. There’s a lot on the menu, but nothing at all out of the ordinary; in other words, average. The more I think about this place(service, décor, etc.) it all ranks average! Coffee? Average. Character? Average. Cleanliness? AVERAGE, AVERAGE, AVERAGE!!! It’s staggeringly frustrating that I can’t think of anything about this place that isn’t, well… average. It’s a mindf*ck, and it might literally be driving me insane. And that is why they should change the name to «Doc’s Insanely Average Food.»

The food is as the sign says, good. The service is good and the atmosphere is nice. The only thing keeping this review from being a 5 star one is the drink refill policy for kids. .75 a refill for kids? COMEON.

I had the Fish and Chips after Doc’s was suggested by a friend. The fish was undercooked and the fries were overcooked. I will not recommend this place to anyone. It seems like they just remodeled so the décor was nice and the staff seemed competent. Overall the food ruined the experience.

This place is rough. I seen«docs» in the paper so I tried it out. Seemed overpriced since it tasted like cafeteria food. The staff was rude also so I was pretty disappointed with the whole situations. I definitely will not be going back and would suggest the same.

My family and I love this place! Delicious food! From their Gonzo burger, YaYa salad, Gyro, & protein packed pita to the eggs, bacon, & toast, everything is great! Friendly staff too!

My friend suggests this place Docs. We get in the car, I’m driving, I go where am I going. He says by the old Harmony House record store. WOW… has it been that long since I’ve been to the old neighborhood??? I had the mushroom swiss burger medium. unfortunately it came well done. I expect this because there are a lot of places out there which will not cook your burger medium. I just wish they would advise you first. I would have changed my order. Luckily I did not because the burger was good. I love the fact that it did not come on a regular burger bun. Ciabatta is go good and they grilled it… yum. We had a wonderful waitress and good food. If you are in the«old» neighborhood, check out docs. They will make your meal a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I am thinking next time I am going to try their full dinners. Maybe take another friend… or two.

The place is hit or miss on both food and service. Their vegetarian pitas are good, but the stir fry was just steamed vegetables over minute rice with sauce on the side. Cute décor.

Good service, fair food. They could learn to add seasoning to the cooking process but still not bad. A little higher in price than other similar restaurants.

I am a woman of color and I was treated very differently from the other customers. Very rude place, also there was dirty smudges on my glass of water. Food was cold, worst restaurant experience. Although the busboy was kind, of course in hopes of tip, but the management, Kim and Doc were very impolite. Do not recommend this restaurant at all, even to the hungry.

This place is a family restaurant in a strip mall. That typically screams greasy spoon. But I found that is an exception here. The restaurant looks very clean. Maybe recently renovated. The décor is modern and functional. The bathroom is one stall and clean. You can get breakfast anytime. The bowl of steel cut oats is huge. I had a patty melt made with a «steak burger». It was good. So were the fries. Cooked just right. The service was very friendly. We had a baby with us so we were visited by several of the servers. Everyone was nice. Plus, our drinks stayed full.

The food here is always fresh. My husband ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup with his paddy melt and it looked home-made with lots on noodles and vegetables. It made me want to try it next time we go to Doc’s Good Food. I asked at the check-out and discovered that they offer 10% senior discounts for people 64 and older. Hey, great, we qualify! My daughter had a chicken pita sandwich and said it was really, really good. I had some loaded nachos and enjoyed every delicious bite. As I said in a previous review, this place has a lot of choices on their menu and everything we have tried has been fresh and delicious. I particually like the breakfast they have with turkey sausage, eggs, toast, and a fruit plate. Another good thing is that breakfast is served at any time. The serving staff is awesome… every single one of them. This is one of our favorite places to eat.

Doc’s is a great family restaurant. Huge menu, consistently good food and service and it’s a nice atmosphere. It’s in a bland strip mall in Warren, but it’s really worth a visit. Everytime I go I get the«ya-ya pita» which is essentially like a a hani pita from National Coney Island… except it’s WAY better. It’s jam packed, and includes BACON! It’s delish. Their ranch is made in house and it’s fantastic, and the fries are really tasty.
