Roxdane Kennels

Just picked up our Lab Diesel from his first stay, and I think he is happier then when we dropped him off! I can’t recommend Roxdane Kennels enough! The staff is wonderful and the place is spotless! This is a definite must for anyone who loves their dog as much as I do!

We’ve been bringing our border collie mix here for 4 years and it’s been great every time. The facilities are very clean and expansive, and the folks at the desk couldn’t be nicer. Our dog needs a little extra activity, so we always pay for romp time. Highly worth it. He’s energetic and happy whenever we pick him up, and he’s never reluctant when we drop him off. That’s the key in our book.

We took our English Bulldog here because my fiancé’s family used to board their boxer and lab here… Our dog has some anxiety, so we were «nervous parents» dropping him off. He had no issue, although they did say he didnt care for the dog boarded next to him. He was overjoyed to be back in our arms after a week and we couldnt have been happier to hear his visit had no major complications. We’ll be using them again in November and for our wedding next year — thank you Roxdane for making us easy and comfortable in leaving our big guy alone for a bit.

Another fantastic week-​long, fun doggie stay for Sammy boy! He’s happy to be dropped off every single time. The staff is very warm and welcoming and they take superb notes while he is there. It’s not easy to leave a family member behind, but knowing he’s loved, treated well, fed exactly to written instructions makes it easy to relax and enjoy. He is so happy every time we come back– as if he’s telling us he also had a great vacation. We could not be more pleased. The facility is very clean and the grounds are meticulously kept. You won’t be disappointed here.

Roxdane Kennels has been caring for our family’s pets since I was a child. From being a child… having both cats & dogs… to being a homeowner & having our own cat & dogs. Our first dog (Splash) a black & tan German Shepard was very energetic. Melissa… a professional trainer helped us to train Splash. Melissa is a serious… no joking around… interested in doing her job & training your dog for your best interest… kind of person. Our Splash listens on command & protects our family & property. She is also extremely socialized with people as well as other dogs due to doggie day camp there a few times a week as a puppy. Recently our cat passed. We received a sympathy card from the kennel signed by everyone… it brought tears to my eyes. We bring both our dogs once a month for a bath & nail cutting. Both dogs run right in & do not hesitate one bit. As for the BEST care & kennel for your families pets??? I would’nt trust anywhere else… only Roxdane!!! M. Hoff

I have used Roxdane for about 8 years, for my dog, and they have always done a great job. All the people i have dealt with there are friendly & helpful, and they really seem to take great care of the dogs — which of course is my first concern. I know others who use them as well, and have no complaints.

Sorry, but never again, unless the family gets rid of the «manager» (or whatever she is). «Missy» is rude, nasty, and the other very nice employees all turn off the niceness when she’s around… they seem to fear her. My dogs were totally out of character and seemed sedated after a weekend stay. When I went to pick them up, they couldn’t wait to get me out of there… no conversation on how the dogs were etc… you paid, get out.
Again…never again.
