So I stopped up to get 6 Egg Rolls and some Wonton soup, I asked for veggies in the soup. No problem. The Eggrolls were Homemade and tasted so good. Not Greasy at all and Full of Flavor Like the Wonton soup. I really need to eat here more often, the staff and owner are nice and the order was on the counter for my To go order in no time. Now… if I can just eat these last 2 Egg Rolls !!

If zero stars was an option, I would do it… The noodles were BURNED and they gave me barely any noodles and when I called she told me that they were supposed to be like that. When I mentioned that I always get the same thing and that this was the first time it was like that she said she would mention it to the cook…
Excuse me, what?! First you tell me I am wrong then your only way to make things better is to tell the cook? I spend more than 10 bucks on this meal. You could’ve done a better job!

Tried it again a few times recently. Much nicer counter help, easier online ordering and best of all, the food has gotten even better. What once was the only saving grace of this place is a jewel in the crown of this place. It is carryout food, so don’t expect too much, but for taste, value and quantity, it’s a good choice.

After waiting 1 hour after making the order we get a call from the driver stating his car broke down and he had to wait for the owner to come and get him. After almost another hours goes by and we call and are told his wife is on the way to get the driver and food will still be hot. The driver could have walked the food over from where he broke down!
Not only was the barely luke-​warm but it was awful. I had bourbon chicken as it was the texture of dried out ham and the taste was not much better. The fried rice was the worst I have ever had. My husband had Almond Boneless chicken and it had something like chicken gravy that was highly congealed.
We will never use this place ever again and I will be telling people I know not to go there!

Came here a few times and the food was decent came here recently and barely not a piece of pork meat, I had pork fried rice — hardly none in the container again its like three or four pieces of pork and tons of rice. Anyhow the sweet sour chicken was good the vegetables was good with that said the lady who takes the order always sounds like she’s in a rush to get you off the phone. Everything was way better when they were struggling more polite etc… now that they’re popular their business charm attention to food has fallen off quite a bit.

First experience with this place tonight. Not bad flavor… way too much breading on chicken… both meals consumed…25 minutes after. .one of us ends up in the bathroom with an upset tummy… add 45 minutes… dinner has now been thrown up. Pretty sure we won’t be back.

I ordered and the food was nasty. I was staying in a motel and they sent no utensils. I called and said something they said they were very busy and could not help me. The food was not as described on menu and barley edible…

I am surprised by all the bad reviews. I have ordered carryout/​delivery from here often and I like it. My carry-​out is always ready quickly and the delivered 45 minutes or less; I live near 12 & Hoover. And they have a couple if lite items which I like. However, a 4 star is not accurate, I would say a 3.5.

I had a very horrible experience with Takee Outee No 1. I recently moved to the area and I decided to try it. I called at 10:30 when they opened and no one answered, I continued to call until someone finally picked up at 10:51. The lady was rude on the phone and I had to repeat my order 3 times! When I arrived to pick it up I had to wait for the women to get down cleaning the stove. When she came up to cash me out she gave me attitude like I was bothering her. That was almost the final straw, but I decided to wait and taste the food first. Oh my gosh! was it terrible. I got the General Tsos Chicken and it was a heaping pile of soggy chicken that tasted like fish. The rice was dry and the ragoon was soggy. My boyfriend got Sweet and Sour Chicken and it was just as bad. His chicken was over fried, the sauce tasted funny and the eggroll was a soggy mess. Overall this restaurant was a disaster!

The delivery is awful. They’ll deliver if you live on Van Dyke. Anything in a radius around their restaurant, however, will take them forever to get to. I ordered tonight and waited an hour and a half before I called to see where my food was. She told me it was still at the restaurant because they got busy and my house is far away. So instead of calling me and telling me that, she was going to wait another hour to deliver my order. Two and a half hour wait time for meh Chinese food? I think not. Taking my business elsewhere.

That place is AWFUL. When I drive by My body remembers the smell. Never EVER again. I only gave it ONE star cause Unilocal Made me.

Not only does this place have an awesome name, but the food they serve up is also great!
Sandwiched between a nail salon and a liquor/​lotto store (isn’t this where most great foods are found?) is this Chinese/​Thai restaurant.
Friendly service, great food, and a dive location makes this a must to check out. Plus, they have no MSG in any of their dishes, which is probably the first thing i noticed about their meals and the fact that i could ACTUALLY taste my food. They also don’t over do the soy sauce or terriyaki, which unfortunately happens at many establishments, instead the freshness of the ingredients and flavors really shine through and makes for a delicious meal! :)
