Pretty standard Chinese food… Sometimes you just want to eat Chinese. This place satisfied my Chinese craving… I got the sesame chicken. I used to get my Chinese from golden wheel when I lived in that area… Pretty much on par with this place. We did get a decent amount of food, and if I’m feeling Chinese I would go back.

This is an okay Chinese restaurant. The food is good but the property itself is a bit rundown. The workers don’t speak English very well but I have patience for that. The service is quick and the food is good. So I went there again and had such an awesome experience very nice staff and attentive. Loved the food

I think this place is awesome. The staff is just as foreign as you’d expect from an Asian Carry Out restaurant, and thats absolutely fine by me, almost even preferred. The food will not blow your mind, but you get what you pay for. I don’t expect 5 star quality from here, and I also don’t expect Chef Gordon Ramsey to be in the kitchen either, especially on a $ 6 lunch special. I live close by and I come here all the time. Thinking you’ll get sick from either their food is just silly. Don’t listen to the nay-sayers. They’re just upset and want free things. This place is just fine.

I’ve eaten here a few times and only because it’s really close to home. I usually order sweet and sour chicken, a simple dish. I find that there chicken pieces are a bit larger than other places but one thing that gets me is they always mix the chicken and the sauce! They’ll put it on the side if you ask, but most places put it on the side by default. Their sweet and sour sauce also has a weird taste, kind of tastes like alcohol.(i’m sure it’s not or doesn’t contain any) I ordered a quart instead of the dinner, ended up paying more and received less chicken than i normally do in the dinner and of course i forgot to ask for sauce on the side… They throw a few veggies at the bottom of the quarts as well which they don’t do with the dinners.(fill space) I also tried their Crab Rangoon, I thought it was a decent price but was severely disappointing. These ones weren’t very crunchy and seemed to be from factory, there were folded into a diamond shape instead of the regular weird X shape. They weren’t as filling or tasty and they didn’t provide any extra sweet and sour sauce for them. The egg rolls were nothing to write home about. But the rice is, in my opinion, a bit better than some other places. All in all, I’ll probably start driving a bit further for better quality(and not have to remember to ask to put the sauce on the side)

Funny how when you have not been to a place in awhile it does not change. Lady at the front had no clue of the menu. Could not be anymore rude. And less welcoming for me to be in the restaurant. I should have known how the food was since not one person was in here to eat. I asked several questions on a certain dish and i got a blank stare. If you are going to wait on the American public… LEARNTHELANGUAGE!!!

I was on my lunch break and just wanted to get out of the office. I can be a loner sometimes so I enjoy quite time with my phone. I was more attracted to the«FREEWIFI» sign on the door than I was to the $ 6 lunch specials. I have limited data on my phone so the thought of unlimited redditing for 45 minutes while I peck away at some beef and brocolli was ideal. I arrived and ordered and promptly pulled out my phone to sign into the wifi. I was prompted to enter my Xfinity user/pass. I don’t have Xfinity, nor should I need it in order to access the free wifi. I hate to make the review about this primarily, so I’ll comment to say that the beef and brocolli i ordered was worth almost $ 6, not good but not bad. Anyway, I asked the staff if they could help me access the wifi and they had absolutely no idea, because apparently no one has ever asked about it before. FREEWIFI should be free for everyone, not just people that already have a Xfinity account. Take the sign down and maybe i’ll come back. Probably not though.

Stopped in for lunch today. I was attracted to the lunch specials menu. I had some trepidation after looking at the range of reviews posted here. Whenever I try a new place, I always try something basic as a first meal. In this manner, it should be somewhat routine to make. Waitstaff took my order quickly. Chose the Szechuan Chicken, with fried rice and won ton soup. I posted pictures of this as well. Typically when I eat Szechuan Chicken it will be spicier than I like, or more mild than I’m used too. This was neither. Instead it was salty. Not what I expected. Before this the wonton soup was good. And not as salty as some I’ve had in other places. The eggroll was okay — nothing special. A little more greasy than I like though. On the whole, lunch wasn’t bad. But no spice. Portion size could have a bit more, but than again, what do you want for $ 4.55? Would I eat there again? With other choices in the area, doubtful. Sorry.

Has a funky smell when you walk in. People who work there are not friendly. Slow even when they are not busy. Went there for lunch one day and ordered a lunch special. It had about as much food as a Lean Cuisine. I told the waitress there was only 3 pieces of meat. She literally takes my fork and starts digging around in my food! LOL She finds one more piece of meat about the size of a dime under a pea pod and haughtily tells me, «There! There are 4 pieces of meat!». I was pretty flabberghasted! She told me it was a lunch special and that is why the portion was so small. Okaaaaaaay. But that small? Taste of the food is not bad, but I don’t think I will be going back there any time soon — especially for lunch — unless I am on a diet and am out of Lean Cuisines.

Best Chinese I’ve had in years. General Taos was very full with tasty chicken and the crispy outside was great. Egg drop soup was perfect. Hot tea didn’t taste like jasmine but still ok. Service was slow even though the place wasn’t very full for a Friday night. I would eat here again happily. Yeah it smells odd when you first go in but you get over it.

No like. Smells funny walking in. Eggroll mediocre, almost doesn’t taste like it was fully fried. Wonton in soup tasteless. Lo mein very saucy, meat tasted funky. Hope I don’t get sick tonight.
