The Mocha House

One of my favorites! They took my favorite lasagna off the menu though :(
Very clean. Food is fresh.

It is definitely a gem in the middle of country Ohio ! Forget hose regular ihop and mcd breakfast. We got a choc mouse cake which was soft and delicious ⁴⁄₅. And their chocolate chip pecan pancakes are perfectly cooked ⁵⁄₅. Next their peppermint patty — perfect drink! This is the to go breakfast spot in warren. And they have a vast selection of drinks, food and dessert. Definitely need a revisit.

Love this place so much that I forgive them for flaws that might make me avoid other places. I kid you not: the specials sometimes come with unexpected sauces or toppings that aren’t included in the description; the regular menu items seem to be prepared differently by different cooks; the counter help rarely can answer questions such as «what kind of scones are those”” – and I DON’T CARE! The people are great, the atmosphere is perfect, and the menu is well-​rounded. And the desserts are out of this world!

Love the Mocha house! Great sandwiches, breakfast, and of course cheese cakes! There’s something for everyone! You will not be disappointed! The prices are reasonable as well! What a great gem right here in Warren!

This place always smells great. Good place to hang out for a coffee and/​or dessert. I’ve also had lunch and dinner here, and the food is pretty good. I also like the architecture of the building and the work of local artists that is periodically rotated. Decent party room on lower level.

Great food, and great service. Low priced too! Worth the drive out to warren to get to it!

Ahhhh the shining beacon of hope in the desolate land of minimal eateries for the high maintenance foodie. (I already bashed the infamous Hot Dog Shoppe. Whoops. Sorry.)
I love checking out local coffee shops and the Mocha House is no exception. I had the privilege of dropping in with friends and family on a couple of occassions while I was in the area. Once to study for finals somewhere other than the on campus library (eep!) and once to catch up with future in-​laws (also eep? ;)) The warm and charming ambience provided the perfect backdrop for both. The last time I was here, I ordered a vegetarian dish and a latte. My veggie omelette was delightful. The one (barely) vice was my drink.
I ordered a 12 ounce latte with an extra shot (theirs only comes with one, but I’m a strong believer of a small needing two. More caffeine, less milk, please!) Maybe I didn’t phrase it correctly but the barista seemed to struggle to understand– the sixteen ounce came with two, not the twelve. The manager came over to help her figure out how to make my coffee. But the completed sucker was GIGANTIC. Oh well. In the end, I got a drink and it was delicious. Just– quite literally– a little more than I had bargained for. No harm, no foul. :)
Extra bonus: They add a bit of cinnamon to their lattes, which is a unique, but appreciated treat. Especially to someone like me who can never get enough cinnamon!
If I’m in the area, I’ll definitely be back here.

Get the Mocha Chip Muffin if it is available. You can’t go wrong. Every sandwich that I have tried has been enjoyable, but the Mocha Chip Muffin keeps me coming back.

This place was a God-​send! In town for an early funeral, and after a long night of driving the breakfast was on point! The lady behind the counter was friendly, the food was fast and DELICIOUS! May go back for dinner!

Always have good meals from this place, whether it is breakfast lunch of dinner! They have really good wedding soup and desserts as well. Always friendly and good service.

I love the ambiance here: lots of light, plenty of seats (with outlets and wifi), no rushing, and a casual vibe. The cakes are delicious, as others mentioned, though very rich; my eyes are often bigger than my stomach here. The food — from sandwiches or soups to entrees or desserts — is solid, if not mind-​blowing. The staff is always nice, and they have a great tea selection.

Traveling through on tour. The coffee was excellent — had my almond milk! The salad was pretty good. But the Russian tea cookie/​cake/​bar was brilliant. Cream cheese pastry crust, fresh raspberries and gorgeous glaze. Also chocolate dipped. Dear Lord. So glad I stopped into this lovely place.

Second time here, got the same thing, Pistachio Muffin with coffee. The muffin and service is why i keep coming back. The staff is very nice and makes sure your coffee cup is always full. Nice/​comfortable atmosphere.

Best desserts in town. Best coffee in town. Most relaxing atmosphere. Best restaurant in town. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Easily an instant classic type of restaurant.

Awful! Spinach salad consisted of bagged wilted spinach and other «grocery store items» and prepackaged dressing. Absolutely ordinary and not worth ever going to again.

Great place for a yummy, satisfying lunch. Lively atmosphere and a delightful change from the typical «chain» establishment, in sleepy little downtown Warren.
The Reuben, pasta salad and turkey with cheddar was Delish! Fries are good! Definitely will come again!

A staple of Warren cuisine. A great coffee shop and delicious pastries. A good atmosphere and friendly staff. I’ve never had a bad meal there.

This is my absolute favorite place to go. Great coffee, scrumptious food. A little loud but the free wifi keeps my music going. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I could spend hours in this place that I consider the epitome of coffee shops. Wish I had more time to spend here!

Excellent place for dessert and coffee in warren. Been traveling to warren for 20 years and just found this gem this week. Probably saved me a lot of extra weight though. Friendly and helpful service as well.

This is my favorite place to get cheese cake, Period… It’s just a bonus that it’s in my back yard. The California Cheesecake is hands-​down my favorite, and the only things I must have every time I go. Other favs of mine are the meat lovers omelet and the Milky Way cappuccino. All in all, just a good ‘olé coffee shop with a relaxing environment.
