Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Staff is friendly, food is excellent, I’ve never had a bad time with the exception of my birthday lunch there earlier this year. I don’t know what they were cooking but the smell of onions was so strong it made my eyes burn and I smelled like onions for the rest of my work day… but the building is so small, I doubt it could have been helped. The food was still delicious!

This is an original place, for sure. I thought it was very pricey, for what you get. But the service was very friendly, and the choices are interesting. I had the reuben, and it was very different than I expected, and certainly different than any reuben I’ve ever had. I’m not a huge fan of this type of organic food, but I’m glad I went.

The food here is fresh and the service was pretty good. From what I can tell they try to source food locally and organically which is great if that is what you are into. The waitress was friendly and helpful when we told her it was our first time. The bill was $ 30 and got my husband and I a bowl of potato soup(not my favorite– I thought it needed seasoning/salt) the chicken pesto sandwich, a pot of tea and a spinach salad(the best part of the meal). It is not a place I would frequent because of the slightly higher prices and I can replicate many of their menu items at home. But it’s definitely a place I would go again. Their cookies all looked amazing and the inside is comfy and cozy.

Fresh food, big sandwiches, dynamically flavored salads, homemade soups, and fantastic cookies. This place is lovely. The service is relaxed and friendly, the art on the walls is locally made, and the ambiance is therefore local and friendly. If you have an hour and want to taste local Missouri, come here — it’s a tasty dream.

Excellent selections made to order from locally grown products. Don’t expect it to be fast since everything is made to order and fresh, it is worth the wait.

The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is wonderfully quaint and cozy and the staff are friendly. It’s not the cheapest place in town but considering the quality of food you receive it is actually a very good price(roughly $ 10 a plate.) Do not go here if you are in a rush — as stated earlier the quality of their product is high and therefore takes time to make. Their hot tea is also a wonderful way to pass the time while you wait for your food. I can honestly say this is my favorite restaurant in town and is the first place I mention when people ask me what they should do when they visit.

Great food! My favorite is the chicken panini! This little hole in the wall is one of the greatest finds in Warrensburg.

I love the atmosphere! Artwork, plants, mismatched tables and chairs. Not to mention the food is healthy and delicious. Their loose teas and cookies are also very good and I like that you can buy those by the ounce and bring home!

Had a friend recommend this healthy restaurant. If anything she didn’t praise it enough. It was packed when I arrived but was greeted and seated quickly by one of the most courteous servers I’ve ever had. I ordered their special and the food was amazing. Loved the entire experience and am looking forward to returning

Service and food both excellent. Open till 8pm Friday. The menu was unique. I tried kale for the first time and if kale tastes like this then I’m a kale fan. My wife had the mushroom soup and she loved it.

Everything I’ve had so far has been great. Always want to order more than I need. One of these times I’ll remember to get a photo.

Overall the atmosphere brings a nice jolt of life to a rather dull warrens burg, we wanted a quick lunch and saw the good reviews on Unilocal. Not to busy on a Saturday. Mainly soup and sandwich kinda place which I’m fine with. I got the ham and jam sandwich, this had a nice contrasting flavor of salt and sweet which I like, I also got kettle chips but was presented with other chips which wasn’t a huge deal but what irked me was how painfully slow, only a few other people in there, only 2 sandwiches were ordered! Took well over 30 minutes, just wouldn’t come back if I was in a hurry like I was last time. They didn’t seemed concerned that everyone was waiting for their food and it wasn’t being brought out! Oh well, overall food was good but service is hit or miss.

just a great place to get a sandwich for lunch. Its a little pricey, but the food is high quality. The staff is nice, and the food is innovative. I would suggest this for a quick brunch with friends. it lost a star just because of the price. i ordered a sandwich(which was really good) but got no side at all. no chips. oh well. it was still really good.

I was told this was the best place to eat in Warrensburg. Based on my experience so far, that is true! Only open for lunch or a late afternoon meal, the soups, sandwiches, desserts, salads, all are made with local great quality ingredients. While a good option, my experience has usually meant this means higher prices. Not here. Very well priced! I was actually quite surprised at the prices, even more so after trying the options. Great homemade soups, yummy sandwich combos, nice starters, many tea options, gooey cookies… You won’t be disappointed! Little cons, the straws are green recycled stuff, didn’t not like them at all, I will skip a straw and trust they didn’t cootie up the rim of my cup on future visits. I like the environmentally conscious approach, but just no on the straws. I had a non-gooey cookie option. Not sure if it was vegan, but very crumbly. I wish they were open for dinner. They were packed after 1pm when we went. The city obviously loves them and I bet they could support a dinner period. If in Warrensburg, make sure you stop by!

Yummy, yummy, yummy! And the service was the best. We had 2 kiddos with us and they accommodated their requests. The décor is cute and the art on the wall was great photography. Get the ham and jam, the perfect mixture of salty sweet goodness!

Blackadder Café is a quirky organic restaurant devoted to using locally grown products & to leaving a very small footprint on the environment. Offerings are all homemade, most with an interesting & tasty twist. I had a «Wee Bit» of creamed oyster mushroom soup & a Fruity Feta salad. Both were delicious. I topped it off with a very tasty slice of strawberry pie. Yum! I’ll definitely be back.

I love this place! The Turkey Pesto is my favorite sandwich. People laugh because I get the same thing every time, but it’s THAT good! Also, the Honey Almond Butter Wedges will be the best thing you’ve ever decided to put in your mouth. The come with a light strawberry sauce made fresh every time you order it. They also have delicious chocolate cookies. SOGOOD! I’ve had delicious Lasagna here as well. If you like Chai Tea Latte’s, get one. I could go on and on about this place. It’s a bit pricey, but it is TOTALLY worth it for the amazing fresh food received!

I am in love with this little place. I’m on A cross country road trip and am so grateful my friend showed me this place! It is adorable and has a great vibe if you’re looking for that time of thing. If I were a local it would be my new place to write.
