My favorite place in town for Mexican food. Always fast. Always delicious. Always a friendly staff.

Overheard the restaurant is changing hands. A man was there today discussing updating the food and building. Sounds like good things are to come. Can’t make the fish tacos any better… love

This place is good. The pico is awesome and the fish tacos are good. Ask for the cole slaw on the side.

The manager is one of the rudest people I have ever met. The kitchen lost our order, the waitress told us so, we had waited about 30 min. The manager stopped by our table and asked how we were doing. did we need more chips?, My husband said we had had plenty of chips we really wanted our food. We were told this is a full service restaurant, if we want fast service go to taco bell, it’s right down the street, he was going to find out how long it had really been. told us our waitress was not very bright. What an jerk, blame the customer, blame the wait staff. don’t bother to find out what’s going on. If you want to pay bucks for so so food, wait forever, and be treated like crap guess its not a bad place.

This USED to me a decent restaurant, No more my friends! Save your cash and visit another establishment. We visited the place tonight, my wife had to return 2 plates of food. Granted we thought the first mistake could have been considered hers, but after reviewing the menu it was not. She ordered a dish that showed flour tortillas in the photo next to it, it was served in the corn husk wrapper. Of course she hates the corn tortillas, so that dish was returned. Then she specifically asked our waiter if the seafood in the seafood tacos is real or not. His reply was that the crab and all seafood was real, a few minutes later plate of food number 2 was returned to the kitchen because of Fake Seafood, specifically fake crab. Of course we should not have been charged for either plate of food, the 1st plate she did not even take a bite of, the second she took 1 bite of before returning. So needless to say, for the first time in 30 years, I stiffed a member of the wait staff! We will not be returning, nor will I recommend this place to anyone! Again, not too many years ago this place had great food! Now the food is extremely substandard, and the service is complete crap! I had the ribs, let me warn you away from those unless you like overcooked unflavored ribs. On a plus side if you are on a bland diet, it would be a good dish for that. Normally I would have chewed a manager out about this, but tonight I was not in the mood to deal with any of this. Especially disappointing! My wife left a message on the ticket, and I paid for a dish that was not eaten.

Food is good. Not the best I’ve had. But the drinks are amazing. I go there just for the margaritas and chips!

Mexican food comes in many shapes and forms. New Mexican food has signature Hatch Chili and Albóndigas. Tex Mex has is characterized frequently by large amounts of cheddar cheese cumin and jalapenos. Copper Coyote is the fusion of Tex Mex and the clearance section at an Aldi Grocery store. When I moved to the Warrensburg area, I was looking forward to sampling the local food. Copper Coyote was one of the first places I tried. The waitress brought the chips and salsa, and I quickly realized that this restaurant would not be in the + column for Warrensburg cuisine. The chips were stale and the salsa tasted like watered down tomato sauce. The margarita was small and also watered down.(Seemed to be a trend). My main dish was a enchilada combo. When I got it, my first thought was«where’s the enchilada?» The plate was a heap of lettuce and tomato, with hardly anything else showing. After I dug under the lettuce and found the enchiladas, I found that they were bland, the cheese tasted like cheeze-whiz, and the tortillas were soggy, like the lettuce had been dripping water when they put it on top. The waitress was clueless and there was no offer to help remedy the meal or comp the cost. After that, I went across the street to players to eat. Needless to say, this place was not the whole enchilada.

Copper has great atmosphere and margaritas, usually… The past couple times I have been here, the food has not been so good, drinks are watered down and don’t sit on the patio because the overwhelming trash smell ruins everything.

Went here for the first time while in town and it was pretty good. I had a burrito and it was a pretty good size. Staff was friendly. I would go back again.

Way back when I lived in Warrensburg I used to go here A LOT. Today when I was in town, my goal was to go here again. Ended up doing carry out… the place was DEAD. I was the only person there. Carry out was no problem and the food was great. Service was fine. They seem to have taken my favorite chicken dish off their menu, but I guess I’ll forgive them for changing their menu after 8 years. :)

No. I went here once before and it was decent, better than El Monterrey… But this time it was not good at all. First off we got there around 9:30; they close at 10:30, but they already had most of the chairs up like they were closing. Here’s your sign. You could tell the whole wait staff just wanted us out of there ASAP so they could go home and party on a Friday night. Warrensburg needs a good mexican joint.

In a nutshell? chipotle ranch /canned tomato /margarita mix(sans alcohol) /cheddar cheese slathered restaurant. The area has a pretty significant hispanic population and there are several mexican grocery stores in Sedalia for which to shop for authentic ingredients– I’m not sure what happened here.

Good solid Mexican fare, nothing offensive but nothing really stood out. Chips were fresh, salsa a little boring. I liked the puffy tacos, good flavor, but the pork was so soggy that the shells fell part after the first couple of bites & I had to eat them with a fork anyway. What they warn about being«hot» is actually pretty dang mild, they could jazz the spice a little bit & still be well within most people’s comfort zone. Gripe: They charge extra if you want your margarita blended. Really? It costs you a whole dollar’s worth of electricity to run the blender for thirty seconds? That’s just chintzy, folks. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. The patio is roomy & awesome when the weather allows.

OK, if I lived in Warrensburg, this would definitely be my Tuesday night hangout. $ 0.99 tacos with a drink purchase? Deal! I opted for one of each — beef, chicken, and pork — and all were tasty, but a little dry. Of the three, I liked the beef the best. One dash of their salsa was the perfect trick. Speaking of the salsa, it was almost perfect — a little on the fine side(I prefer something a little chunkier), but it had a nice zing to it without being too spicy. The chips were fresh and not at all greasy. Service here was great — I thought the middle of the restaurant was a little empty but later realized that a large party had just left and all of the center tables were pushed to one end. Their staff had it cleared up in no time and got everything back in order quickly without disrupting other diners. Everyone was really friendly and checked on me several times(but maybe that was because they pitied me dining alone — I’m on a work trip!). All in all, I walked out with a belly full of Dos XX, three tacos, and a large side of beans for under $ 9. Score!!!
