After my service with the US Army I wanted to get back into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. There were only a few schools to choose from in the area and many did not offer BJJ. The ones that did offer BJJ were too far away. As soon as I saw Matt Larsen’s name on a building in Warrenton, VA I knew I waited for a reason(Matt Larsen introduced BJJ to the US Army) This is «THE» place to train, worth a trip from Culpeper or Gaineville. I attended a free week and needless to say signed right up! You will NOT find a better place to train than this! Highest level of training! Hand picked instructors by Matt L. Come check em out! See you on the mat!

As far as MMA is concerned, it seems to be good. Overall, this place has been open for over a year, i think. It seems like they have put no effort into making the place look appealing. The place looks like a former gym location taken over and pretty run down. There is no sizzle to the steak when you walk in here. It just seems like this is another Combat Fitness location that has been given no attention. Even the front desk looks like an old run down gas station. I hope they read this and give this gym some serious attention. It has potential, but it seems like they just don’t really care about growing the business.
