I order lunch here all the time now! For some reason I fear this place is frequently overlooked for food but I assure you it is to die for. Fresh, organic, excellent service. A bit pricey but totally worth it!

I love this market and I never leave empty handed. Their foods and product lines are wonderful. I recently discovered some delicious gluten/soy free chocolate chip cookies made by a company called Kool Krums. I have family members who are gluten sensitive and these cookies have made snacks and dessert so much easier for me. As a chocolate«snob» I could immediately taste the premium quality organic chocolate chips they are made with. Please continue carrying these wonderful cookies.

Love this place! Live within walking distance so that is a plus. Good variety of things and the deli upstairs makes really good soups, wraps, etc. We love it!

Upstairs deli has nice selection of sandwich, wrap and soup options for vegetarians and omnivore alike. And smoothies, don’t skip the smoothies. Very yummy. The staff is also awesome — very cheerful and polite.

Food is excellent and thoughtfully prepared, close to the earth and seasonal. Café is friendly and inviting. Selection of gluten free and dairy free foods is exceptional in store. The staff are knowledgeable and provide advice about products, worth paying more than ordering online.

This store is such a treasure. I am visiting my boyfriends family here in VA and we both now reside in Cali where all of our natural and organic needs are easier met. This store definitely met our needs the juice bar prices were a bit steep but I assume that’s because there is less competition. That’s my reason for not giving 5. Prices were high. Other than that it was perfect!

My sister and I came to Warrenton, VA this past weekend for a wedding. I just finished a detox cleanse and didn’t want to eat garbage all weekend so I did a search on Unilocal for ‘natural food’ and boy did I get lucky when I discovered the Natural Marketplace! They have a small seating area on the second floor and a menu full of organic/raw deliciousness. I had a mixed green salad with their tuna salad on top and it was divine(I added a picture of the salad!)! The service was amazing and everyone in the store is incredibly friendly. I’ll probably never see Warrenton, VA again but if I do it’s a MUST that I stop at NM! Job well done to the women that’s owned it for 22 years!

I wish I lived closer so I could stock up on my favorites more often. They have these great cookies called Doobie Snacks — super tasty and addicting! The ingredients are all organic, mostly nuts and flax seed with chocolate chips and maple syrup seasoned with Himalayan salt, all made by a local lady. They are a must try! The deli upstairs is really cute with friendly staff and lots of healthy options made fresh or delivered from locals daily. It’s definitely worth a visit and could very well become a go-to if you’re local to Warrenton and appreciate healthy eating. You won’t find another small business like it, only in a small town like this.

A coworker introduced me to The Natural Marketplace when I worked in Warrenton. She was big on their all-natural facial cleansers, which she swore would keep you clearer than a round of Accutane. We stopped by one afternoon so she could re-up her beauty supply, and I was hooked instantly. This is the kind of store you might expect to find in a more urban or cosmopolitan environment. That’s the thing about Warrenton, tho: it’s a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. A rural anomaly in an encroaching Northern Virginia world. The Natural Marketplace soothes the soul the minute you walk in. It’s like someone took their inviting little home and made it into an even more inviting little store. They specialize in organic, all-natural products and holistic wellness. Those cosmetics smell refreshing and herbal and work wonders. From household cleaners to all-natural pet food to vitamins and minerals, everything in the store is good for your health, good for your home, and good for the environment. Upstairs you can get a massage from a certified therapist and consult a nutritionist. There are other new-age-y therapies offered that I’m not so sure about, like crystal therapy and hair analysis… The deli is one of the best features of The Natural Marketplace. There’s a juice bar where you can create your own concoctions. There are raw foods. Gluten free, organic deli sammies. Vegan salads. And they cater. This is where I bought my fruit leathers when Trader Joe’s suddenly stopped carrying them for a while(you know you love those grown-up Fruit Roll Ups!). Everything is fresh and delicious. Prices are somewhat steep but so’s Whole Foods, and pennies spent here support a long-standing, locally owned business. The Natural Marketplace is one of the few reasons I miss working in Warrenton. But it’s an eagerly anticipated visit when I’m out that way on rare occasion.
What a delightful find! We stopped in for a quick bite and loved the chicken miso broccoli soup. There was a vegan beet soup too. We had the vegan Thai potstickers too, but brought most of them to enjoy later. The chef/counter server Danielle was delightful and remembered my friend who had visited once before. The space is tiny but food delicious. The downstairs market looked great and I was sorry I didn’t have more time to explore. Will definitely come back again and leave more time to explore the shop, town and other restaurants.
