My husband and I bought a barn shed 10×16 and spent approx 5K on it. He felt slightly pressured to have their«recommended» company come out and price grading /applying gravel to the site to prepare for delivery. We found another company w lower quote whom ended up performing the site work and the manager inspected it prior to shed arrival stating it looked good! After delivery of the new shed we discovered that the door didn’t fit the frame by ½ in or so which makes opening and closing the barn door difficult. My husband went down to the store and told the manager and was told problem was most likely our land prep wasn’t properly level b/c we choose not to use his buddy to grade/prep the land! At this point my husband was told he would«need to charge us» a fee to come check out the issue! Mind you we had the shed less that a week and the issue was clearly not the site! So much for customer service and warranty on workmanship!!!

We ordered a prefab shed and a base to be built on our side yard that has a significant pitch. They did a great job building the base with a nice gradual ramp and positioned our shed perfectly. They even returned a week after it was installed to seed over the area where the grass was disturbed. Highly recommend. Very professional and timely installation and follow up

Very bad experience with this company. Poor service, questionable ethics. We ordered a playhouse and the owner checked to see if the truck would be able to make it into our backyard without going into the neighbor’s yard.(It’s his truck, he should understand the capabilities of it and its driver.) He said, Yes, No Problem. This was apparently a bold-faced lie to get me to complete the sale. When the truck appeared, the driver said No Way, he’d have to drive over a small part of my neighbor’s yard. By this point, I had checked the reviews and knew how doggedly they could try to hold on to deposits and I decided to take delivery of the product. Yes: in retrospect, I should have said No, made the truck return to Leesburg, and then(likely) dealt with taking them to court over my deposit.(I was stupid enough to give them a check, not a credit card. If for some reason you insist on giving this company business, please do it with a card so you can dispute it if need be.) Really, it *shouldn’t* have been a big deal. A couple of feet over into my neighbor’s yard, the grass was temporarily crushed down and there was a very small trench, the sort of thing that would rectify itself quickly. I hadn’t gossiped about my neighbors and my insight into their mindset /level of pettiness was limited.(I’ve gossiped since!) The neighbors hit the moon. I hired some people to make repairs, as hard as the damage was to even find at that point. I wrote to the store and asked if they possibly had landscaping expertise and if so, could they perform the work at their cost? Or could they at least give me a credit, as I was thinking about other purchases? No response, no response, no response, no response, finally a response with condescending, fake politeness(you know, when a «man» breaks out the«m’am» and«mrs.» for the lil’ woman) informing me that since I had taken responsibility they would not be accommodating in any way.(I readily admitted: I didn’t make the truck make a u-turn. I was not remotely dishonest in my communication to them– despite the fact I had been lied to about the capability of the truck/driver.) How dumb, btw? I thought a business was there to sell stuff to customers… Technically, they’re guilty of trespassing. Doesn’t matter I said go ahead: I could tell you it’s OK to go on the White House lawn, too. My permission wouldn’t mean a thing, and trying to put the blame on me wouldn’t get you off the hook. Lastly, I found where I could have bought the playhouse for a few hundred less, including a higher shipping cost. SHOPAROUND! You can find it cheaper. In summary: This is a low business. Which is too bad, as they have some cute stuff and it’s always fun to look at sheds and the like.

We stopped at this store(the Leesburg location) three times. The first time we were just browsing. The second time, we decided we were going to buy a shed. The third time we came back after having purchased the permits from Loudoun County and getting approval from our HOA. Each time we came back the price for the shed went up. The first time we visited they quoted us roughly $ 3k for a 10×16 shed. The 2nd time we went back they had no record of our first visit. They gave us another quote, roughly $ 2,000 more than the first quote. Full disclosure, our wants/needs had changed a bit, but not $ 2k worth. Between the 2nd and the 3rd trip, the owner of the company made a home visit to see if they could deliver the shed. He sent an updated quote of $ 5,014. The 3rd trip, when we went to the location in Leesburg with $ 5k in our pockets ready to buy a shed, but the price went up by $ 103. Nothing on the shed changed between the 2nd and the 3rd visit. During the 3rd visit we were also told that the OWNER of the company made a mistake with his pricing and that they would not honor the $ 5014 price. At the 3rd visit we were told that our quote was too confusing for the sales person to use, so we could either come back and work with our original sales person, or we could start a whole new quote. We sat down with the new sales person to clarify things and happened to ask with doors were standard. He pointed to two doors and said they were standard and wouldn’t cost extra. Later during our visit the manager came in to speak with us, and told us that they only had one standard door. That the rest of the doors would cost extra. How crappy is your sales team when they don’t even know what is standard and what costs extra? We left their office with the understanding that they would send us an updated quote after they spoke with the owner regarding the price difference. It’s been 7 days and we haven’t heard anything. Needless to say, we won’t be buying a shed from them.

We had a very good experience purchasing three end tables here. We stopped in not expecting to purchase anything right then, more to get an idea of what they had and how much the tables would cost. We were quite pleased with the quality of the display, that fact it would be handmade in Pennsylvania from solid wood and not some foreign made veneer item. The cost was quite nice too, compared to how much large furniture stores charge for lesser quality items. We were able to select the color and distress options, decided to pay in full, and were told it would take roughly four weeks to deliver. We received a phone call about two and a half weeks later saying the tables were in and ready to be picked up. The tables were very attractive and well made. We are very happy with them. The grain of the wood stands out beautifully. Both times we were at the store, for purchase and pickup, we were offered a free pumpkin or mum to take home with us if we’d like. We both agree we will definitely come back here to purchase more furniture as time goes on. The quality of the pieces stand out, they are handmade by individuals in this country, and the prices are very reasonable compared to what you’d pay at a traditional furniture store, especially since they are solid wood and not veneer. We were treated very politely, enjoyed the purchasing phase, were surprised by the speed of delivery, and are more than happy with the final product.

Top notch quality and service! We have a fenced in rear yard so we needed a shed that could be built on site. After looking at the big box stores and other dealers in NoVa for several months we found«This n that Amish outlet». We were impressed by their knowledge and with the construction of their sheds. The Amish are true craftsmen and don’t just slap stuff together like other sheds we looked at. We purchased a 12×16 Victorian with dormer windows and transom door windows. Our back yard wasn’t level and they had to build a pad for the shed. This required a small backhoe to level the pad location and then several inches of crushed rock were compacted to form the base. While the pad was being addressed, the Amish craftsmen in PA were busy constructing our shed. The shed was installed about a week after the pad installation. The shed was brought to our house in panels and the Amish had it installed in under 6 hours. The final result exceeded our expectations. My wife was so happy that she created a side show/video that I put on YouTube We highly recommend this company and are more than happy to refer people to this company.

I purchased and paid for($ 5K) for a new shed for my back yard as a Xmas gift for my husband. That was back in the beginning of December… well, they got my money(now it’s the 2nd week of February) and I haven’t heard from them since they cashed my check. Lesson learned. DONOTPAYINFULLUNTILTHEYDELIVER! I call every week and get a myriad of excuses.

This place convinced my wife that they could build a chicken coop that met her needs. In the design phase they told her how everything should be built and how they dealt in quality. We were to learn over 2 months that not only would they not deliver quality but they would not deliver a product. 7÷9÷2013 — Design and deposit was placed and we were told to expect the coop in two weeks. 7÷23÷2013 — Called for status no information 7÷24÷2013 — Called for status no information 7÷25÷2013 — Called for status no information 7÷26÷2013 — Called for status and they informed us it is expected to arrive next week. 7÷30÷2013 — Delivered a chicken coop that was not the correct design and configuration as listed on the design. This was refused and we were told they would need to order another one which would take two weeks. 8÷13÷2013 — Another chicken coop was at the store and after my wife saw it the coop was still not to the agreed upon design and there was nails sticking into the chicken living space that missed the support beams so could hurt the chickens. The manager stated he would try to fix it but also belittled my wife and stated«this is made out of materials such as plywood for chickens you can’t expect high quality». My wife still wanted to work with them but was concerned she would not get what she ordered. 8÷17÷2013 — My wife called to ask for status and they had none so request our deposit back but the manager was not in to discuss. 8÷19÷2013 — Called to request deposit back but the manager was busy. 8÷21÷2013 — Called to request deposit back but the manager was busy and would get back to us. 8÷22÷2013 — Called to request deposit be refunded and were told we would receive a call back but didn’t the whole day. 8÷23÷2013 — Called to request our deposit be refunded and were told they would not refund our money. Called our credit card company to contest the charge since we do not have a chicken coop and are not expecting a delivery. Never deal with this company if you have a choice. My family will not make purchases from this store/company again.

If i could give 0 stars or minus a thousand stars, I would. Do NOT go to this business: My family and I have agreed to buy a shed from this company. We paid a deposit of $ 2,000 on 3÷30÷13. It was agreed that we will contact this company once we have the shed site done so that it will be ready for them to deliver to our land. In the meantime, the company had agreed to fix the cosmetic dents/dings of the trim. On the week of March 8th, I called them that the site for the shed was ready for delivery for the following week on a sunny day(since you can’t deliver when it’s raining). They called me March 14 – 16 and left a voicemail. On that voicemail, they said that the cosmetic fixings were 98% done and that they want to deliver. I work during the week so I said that I need to see it on Saturday 3⁄20 before giving approval. I went today, Saturday 3/20, to see the shed. The cosmetic fixtures were not fixed… not even close to the said«98%» done. I asked them for my deposit back since the work was not done according to agreement. They refused. They said they’ll fix it. I asked them why they did not fix during the 2.5 weeks they had while we were getting the site ready because I would not be asking for my money back if they did. They did not answer. They said that can fix it by Monday 3⁄22. So, I said to put in writing that they will fix and deliver by Wed 3/24, and if not then we get our money back. They refused to put it in writing and the OWNER became ANGRY and told us to get off his property and that he’ll call the cops on us if we don’t leave. He also said feel free to sue him for the deposit. He said FEELFREETOSUEHIM and that I’m not getting my deposit back! I called Fauquier County police because I was flabbergasted at the situation. The policeman seemed reluctant to help as this was a civil dispute. The policeman heard my story and then talked with the owner. I did not witness this, but the policeman told me that the owner will be sending me my deposit by check in 1 week. This didn’t make sense as I paid the deposit by credit card. If their genuine intent was to return my deposit, they should’ve swiped my card then and there today. I doubt they’ll even send me a check refund. I took proactive action and called my credit card company and filed a dispute. I also contacted the Better Business Bureau. These people are not honest. They try to cheat their way out of a contract and keep your money. They also change what they say on you on the spot. DISHONESTBUSINESS. Do not go there if there are problems and you want your money back because they won’t even promise or work with you, rather they will threaten you to get off their property.
