Are… you…kidding me??? I have a pizza minus one slice sitting on my kitchen counter right now. I ordered the… you know what? It doesn’t matter what I ordered. If you are excited to see that Greek’s has expanded to Warsaw and have eaten at other locations, DONOT get excited. Oh my gosh… where to start… Firstly…their pizzas are cooked in stone ovens, right? Fresh dough, right? Only the highest quality ingredients, right? Nope. DONOT… DONOT eat here. The food is horrifically bad. I can’t even begin to explain how bad it is. I ordered a pizza with onion, olives, meatballs and a «special blend» of cheeses. Having dined at Greek’s in the Indianapolis area and always enjoyed them, I was SO excited to see what I got. I’ll get to the point: PREFAB crust. PRE. FAB. It was barely rebaked. Floppy, sad crust that wasn’t even in the oven long enough to brown. I have no idea what the cheese-like substance on it was, but it didn’t brown in the oven. Just a small sprinkling of toppings. The sauce was so sweet it gagged me. Never write a food review angry, right? Seriously. AVOIDATALLCOST. I called the restaurant to explain my disappointment and was basically met with just a tepid«meh» response. I called a couple of other stores and discovered that by way of franchising this amazing concept, they’ve basically given license to hacks to sell just anything and pretend it’s pizza. SO angry. This was seriously just so awful. A frozen Jack’s pizza is divine in comparison.

The pizza was excellent — «fluffy» not dense. The breadsticks were good not great, primarily due to the marginally marinara. The pizza sauce is very tasty, however.

DISCLAIMER: I’ve frequented many Greek’s locations. This location has newer ownership a few years now I believe. Good pizza, great sauce, fantastic bread sticks and garlic butter. My better half’s uncle is up to the cottage for a few days and he wants to buy us dinner — typically he’s pushing a steakhouse or linen napkin fare. We bargain that we’ll only do that if we go for pizza(or good cheap bar food). FYI — its been a few days, we all watched Belmont Stakes Pharoah capturing the Triple Crown waiting on the pie. Kicked around the old Danny’s now Chicago Pizza & Italian Beef in front of Walmart but decide we can be in and out quicker downtown and still have an awesome experience. Greek’s is expanding franchises but its nice that’s it’s still a smaller outfit. Garlic breadsticks w/garlic butter comes first and the Uncle is raving about them. An extra large supreme comes next and our party of 4 manages to polish it off — barely. A delicious, solid pie. Less than $ 35 all in w/drinks and generous tip and everybody is happy happy. Love this place — it’s on our regular rotation. Caution though: check the hours of operation — downtown Warsaw rolls up the sidewalks(as does this Greek’s) often before it gets dark. I’ve seen it closed at 9:00 more than once.

This was a very pleasant surprise! Pizza that satisfied the New York style in me and the Chicago style in my family! Started with some great garlic/butter breadsticks in a «to die for» marinara sauce — wow! Pizza(sausage and pepperoni) was a double wow! Crust was tasty and baked to perfection, marinara was delicious and the cheese was abundant and tasty. Satisfying 6 individuals with it’s flavor, excellent service and just absolutely the best morning after pizza we’ve had in the area. This is the one pizzeria that I could make a special trip to dine at!

As a pizzeria across the country, there’s nothing special here. But as a pizzeria in Warsaw, it stands above the rest.

Good place to eat local pizza. One weekday special was a $ 4.99 one topping individual-sized pizza.
