3 Royal Waterfront Suites

The only reason not to give 3 Royal Waterfront Suites a 5-​Star rating is because I think that’s supposed to be for a place like the Ritz. And while this is not the Ritz, it’s exactly the kind of place that my partner and I enjoy: homey, cozy, spacious (REALLY spacious!), jacuzzi, beautiful setting. We stayed in the Queen Suite and loved the window seat perch overlooking the bay: swans, boats, ducks, sunrise. Just gorgeous!
Not only is the innkeeper very helpful, cheerful and sociable, she loves to bake and cook and serves the best breakfasts ever! Made to order and served right in your suite at whatever time of morning you want. Also enjoyed the touch of her artwork here and there in the place.

Originally, our family scheduled a weekend here last year, but were rained out by Hurricane Irene. The owner, Daneish, graciously allowed us to reschedule for this summer. Among the five of us, our family rented all three of the available rooms. Each one is beautifully decorated, spacious, and has both a porch and view of the ocean, which is just a few feet away. Two of the three have jacuzzi features in the bathtubs. My husband and I enjoyed the huge Emperor Suite, with its king-​size bed (which was extremely comfortable) and premium cable. Our family was served delicious breakfasts made to order at a table on the porch facing the ocean. My husband has many severe food allergies that cut out whole food groups, and Daneish was so sensitive and accommodating about them, even altering one of her signature recipes for him. Along with her pastry du jour, we enjoyed personalized mini-​quiches and any type of fresh fruit we wanted (she goes to the store each morning to buy exactly what her guests order). She even made us fresh rice krispie treats and chocolate chip cookies for afternoon snacks! Since my husband is an artist, we chatted with her about the art throughout the house, most of which she created herself. I wouldn’t have changed anything about our visit. The accommodations, food, hostess, and location are all absolutely perfect. I would come here again in a heartbeat. I can’t recommend 3 Royal Suites highly enough!

Outstanding service, and wonderful views. This B&B is located in a quiet corner of Warwick with stunning views of Narraganset Bay. Daneish — the innkeeper — is the best. She goes out of her way to make you feel at home, and to be helpful. She even drove me 15 miles out to the train station in Providence. Breakfast has every conceivable option — and is served to you in your room. So there is none of the usual B&B socializing with other guests, unless you want to. And it has everything else — free Wifi, HBO, large comfortable rooms, etc. If you are looking for a quiet hideaway with with stunning views of a peaceful bay, and outstanding service — this is the place for you.

We stayed here not knowing what to expect, and we were altogether delighted with it. It’s well away from the airport/​commercial part of Warwick and sits right over the bay. The rooms are absolutely huge and very nicely appointed. The proprietor is a talented artist and she decorates with her art and apparently that of others to make the place that much more eclectic. Extremely clean, all of the amenities one could want in a B&B, quiet, great views, attentive service, many choices on breakfast (make sure you have the homemade Danish), and a great price. If you are staying Rhode Island definitely check this place out.
