Brought my Frye boots in as I had worn the heels down and some holes in the sole. The heels were replaced, soles restitched and the boots conditioned and water proofed in 3 days! These are my favorite, I wear them almost every day so I am so grateful to get them back so quickly and like new! Highly recommend this small business!

They do good work, but what;‘s with the birds? Is this a shoe repair shop of a aviary?
The place smells, and the birds are annoying. Leave them home, and put up pictures if you must.

This guy works magic… My old shoes that fit like slippers are made new again. such good work at little cost. He’s closed on Mondays but open on Saturday.

I swear by them! My heels get destroyed on the cobblestones in Newport and Providence. Having them repaired has saved me a ton of money. Hard to find a cobbler, never mind a quality cobbler. This shop is fantastic!

Wow! I am so impressed with this place. I took my very beat up boots there to get new heels put on and I was so impressed with how well the work was done and how quickly the work was done and at what cost. I will definitely be returning to this place the next time I am in need of some shoe repair.

Called to ask about a simple shoe shine. The person on the other end of the phone was extremely rude for no reason. When I asked if they do shoe shines while you wait he said «Fine — I’ll have to stop what I’m doing and shine your shoes». I’m not forcing the guy to take my business it was a simple question. My next simple question was how long does it usually take as I’ve never used these guys. His second rude answer was «Oh, what are you going to be timing me now?». I’m amazed at the unprofessionalism of this guy. Not sure if he had a bad day, but I’m certainly taking my business elsewhere (Which included a lot more than a simple shine)

This guy is great! Tucked away in the basement of an old strip mall, I had no idea what to expect. He was knowledgeable, and actually said he wouldn’t repair one of my shoes since the rubber was rotting and it wouldn’t last so he didn’t want to waste my money. He re-​tipped some heels and cleaned up the leather as well as re-​soling my boyfriends dress shoes– with Vibram rubber which excited him! I had a purse with a cracked fake leather strip on the handle and I asked if he could replace it with real leather. He said he’d think about how to make it work, and just to leave it with him and hopefully it would be done when the shoes were ready. I was excited to find that he found a way, and it was just $ 10! My bag looks amazing and will last a long time now!
Very old school, cash only, and based on the flow of customers while I was there, decently busy. Hopefully that means he’ll be around for a long time, because I’ve definitely found my new cobbler.
